Good morning Her Campus! With a break-neck news cycle, there is no possible way for you to stay on top of every story that comes across your feeds—we’re all only human, after all.

But, life comes at you fast. So grab a cup of coffee and settle in for this quick and dirty guide to stories you might’ve been sleeping on (like, literally. It’s early.)

A Judge Has Blocked Trump's Ban on Transgender People Serving in the Military

The New York Times reports that on Monday, a federal judge temporarily blocked Trump's ban on transgender troops in the military, ruling that it likely violated the equal protection clause in the Constitution.

"There is absolutely no support for the claim that the ongoing service of transgender people would have any negative effective on the military at all," Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly wrote in the ruling. "In fact, there is considerable evidence that it is the discharge and banning of such individuals that would have such effects."

The ban was set to go into effect in March 2018. The ruling will block the Trump administration's plan to discharge all transgender troops and will continue to allow transgender people to enlist.

A Former 'Bachelorette' Producer Is Suing the Show for Sexual Harassment

Following suit of many other women who have dealt with sexual assault or harassment in the entertainment industry, Becky Steenhoek, a former producer on JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette, is suing the show for sexual harassment that allegedly occurred while she was working on set. Steenhoek alleges that producers named in the lawsuit, Elan Gale, Peter Scalettar, Jacqueline Naz Perez, Caitlin Stapleton and Bennett Graebner, would ask her sexually explicit questions during work like, "Is your vagina shaved?" and "How often do you masturbate?" When she confronted her boss about the problem, she was reportedly told, "This is the way of the industry and world we work in." She was fired from the show only weeks after confronting her supervisor. Warner Bros. Entertainment has since released a statement saying its investigation into Steenhoek's claims, "did not support the plaintiff’s characterization of the events claimed to have taken place."

A Sephora Lipstick Tester May Have Given This Woman Herpes

Next time you hit up your closest Sephora, maybe, um, *don't* use their makeup testers. According to Teen Vogue, one woman is suing Sephora, claiming she contracted oral herpes after trying on a lipstick in the store. She claims that the store is not properly warning shoppers about health risks involved with trying on makeup in-store, and for the emotional distress of having a, "incurable lifelong affliction." If you're in the mood to try something new, this might be a good time to take advantage of Sephora's amazing return policy instead.
