Jimmy Kimmel has never been afraid to voice his opinions. Now, Congress has given him another reason to speak out. According to ABC, Senators Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy are making a last-ditch effort to repeal and replace Obamacare with their own bill, the Graham-Cassidy Bill.
It just so happens Cassidy has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in the past to talk about health care. In his Tuesday night monologue, Kimmel claimed, "He listed his demands very clearly. He said he wants coverage for all, no discrimination based on pre-existing conditions, lower premiums for middle-class families and no lifetime caps, and guess what—the new bill does none of those things.” Kimmel called the bill a "scam" and accused Cassidy of lying to his face.
You'll remember Kimmel's son Billy had to have open-heart surgery when he was born in May. Billy is better now, with more surgeries in his future, but, understandably, the situation has affected the family forever. Kimmel is now on a mission to improve health care for everyone.
When Kimmel first shared his son's health struggles on his show, he said other health care bills have lacked common sense and he won't apologize for wanting all children to have health care.

Kimmel closed out Tuesday's monologue by saying that anyone who has an issue with his efforts can "shove your disgusting comments where your doctor won’t be giving you a prostate exam once they take your health-care benefits away." Well said, sir.
