Trump Thinks Minnesota Mosque Attack Could've Been Faked "By the Left"

Wondering why Donald Trump has stayed silent about the recent explosion at the Dar al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota?

White House national security adviser Sebastian Gorka says that Trump believes it could have been a fake crime "propagated by the left," the Huffington Post says. Gorka reportedly told MSNBC that Trump is waiting to publicly comment on the mosque explosion until he has more information or "some kind of finalized investigation."

Gorka's basis for this claim is that there have been hate crimes committed recently that were blamed on people identifying with the alt-right that were later found to actually have been done by members of the left.

In the meantime, Democratic Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has visited the mosque and called the 5 am explosion an act of terrorism.

It's been pointed out that Trump has commented on other terrorist acts very quickly, like the London attacks, especially when he could use the attacks at support for his Muslim travel ban. It seems to be unclear to many why exactly Trump and his White House team are choosing to believe, for now, that this particular crime could be a "fake" hate crime.

The Washington Post, along with other news networks, have pointed out that Trump has not even tweeted about the attack. While he does not need to place blame on any particular party right now, it would be nice to hear our president at least condemn the fact that the mosque was attacked by someone.
