Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation FOUR MONTHS AGO, but President Trump is actually still mad about it. So much for forgive and forget, huh?
According to CNN, Trump spent Tuesday's news conference targeting the Attorney General. "I am disappointed in the attorney general. He should not have recused himself," Trump said. "If he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me prior to taking office and I would have quite simply picked someone else."
The president hasn't said whether he wants to fire Sessions. But seriously, Trump, if you're going to complain that much without offering a solution, isn't this just gossip?
I'd say yes, based on the subtweets he fired off Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!

Why didn't A.G. Sessions replace Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a Comey friend who was in charge of Clinton investigation but got....

Trump had previously brought up Sessions in a tweet on Monday, when he wrote, "So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?"
This isn't the first time POTUS has tried to sabotage other people involved in this investigation...*cough* Comey *cough*. But hopefully it will be the last. Sessions recused himself because of his involvement in Trump's campaign, showing loyalty to the law. But Trump only sees this as disloyalty to the Trump family.
