We’re less than two weeks away from the Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones, but even with the promise of upcoming new episodes, the show’s confirmed end after Season 8 seems way too close. For anyone already mourning the epic series’ ending, there’s still time to enjoy any and everything GoT in an immersive way. Hello Giggles reports that HBO will launch Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition this fall.
Following a similar tour in 2013 that included armor and weapons used on set, this tour will bring GoT's props, sets and costumes to various locations. The tour is expected to begin in Europe, transporting sets made to resemble the show’s Castle Black, Iron Throne Room of King’s Landing and more.
“We think this exhibition is going to be something fans will love, regardless of which part of the world they call home,” HBO global licensing director Jeff Peters shared in a statement. “We’re excited to give them the opportunity to visit and celebrate the incredible craftsmanship of the talented Game of Thrones production team.”
Given that Season 7 will end in August, the touring exhibit’s timing is perfect for any fans expecting heavy GoT withdrawal between seasons. Specific dates and locations are to be announced soon.
