Ivanka Trump Allegedly Stole This Shoe Design from Aquazzura

Ivanka Trump is in the headlines again for a lawsuit against one of her companies. Aquazzura alleges that Ivanka's brand, IT Collection LLC, copied their "Wild Thing" shoe design and createed their own "Hettie" version in order to sell it at a lower price point. Uh oh, Ivanka!

The President's daughter attempted to avoid giving a deposition by claiming her "high-ranking government official" role in the White House made her much too busy to participate, along with her seemingly minimal connection with the actual design of the shoe. In a statement released on June 16, she says, "I had no involvement in the conception, design, production or sale of the ‘Hettie Shoe.' My involvement was strictly limited to the final sign-off of each season’s line after it was first reviewed and approved by the company’s design team."

Instead, she wanted her company's president, Abigail Klem, to be questioned. However, a judge recently denied this request, and is requiring that Ivanka be present for a two-hour deposition to discuss the design and production of the shoe, according to Refinery29. At least she's used to the court room environment, since she recently dealt with a class action lawsuit against her after a San Francisco-based fashion boutique found she had an unfair advantage in the fashion world because her father was promoting her line on Twitter.

Even though the case still has to go through the court system, the similarities between the two shoes are astonishing. See for yourself below:

"Wild Thing" is featured on the left, retailing for $785, and Ivanka's "Hettie" design is shown on the right, retailing for $130. Maybe it's just a ~really~ unlucky coincidence?
