Bachelor in Paradise fans know ALL about the show's recent scandal, which was so huge that production shut down as Warner Bros. investigated allegations of sexual misconduct. According to reports, two producers were concerned about whether Corinne Olympios was able to give consent for a sexual encounter she had with DeMario Jackson. The investigation has now come to a close, and filming for BIP has resumed in Mexico, with episodes expected to air on ABC later this summer.
One person we haven’t heard much from during the ordeal is DeMario, but he's finally speaking out about how this has affected him and his family. In a tearful sit-down with E! News, the first of a three-part interview airing Monday and Tuesday, DeMario talked about how his mom and dad supported him throughout the scandal.
“It was stressful. For me, mostly for my mother. It's hard to see your mom cry every single day. It was very difficult,” he said through tears.
“My dad, he kept me extremely strong and kept me grounded and humble but having your mom cry every day for something that you know you didn't do,” DeMario added.
Although the Warner Bros. investigation has ended, Corinne’s legal team has announced they're continuing with their own investigation. As for what’s in store for BIP fans in Season 4, no one knows at this point. We just hope every party involved in this controversy can get the healing they deserve.
