Throughout her career, Rihanna has proven that she is far more than a singer. We’ve seen her as a fashionista and an advocate for the less fortunate, and in her latest public service deed, she has been tweeting world leaders asking for their commitment to funding education, Cosmopolitanreports.
So far, RiRi has reached out to leaders of Argentina, Germany, France and Canada (because who could resist tweeting everyone’s favorite hot leader, Justin Trudeau?). We love that she has personalized each message, proving that she finds it important to come across as totally genuine about her mission.
@JustinTrudeau I know you had our backs during the #GlobalCitizen Festival, will you recommit Canada to #FundEducation?

bonjour @EmmanuelMacron, will France commit to #FundEducation?

What's even better about Rihanna's campaign is that some leaders have replied to her tweets. German press secretary Steffen Seibert and President of Argentina Mauricio Macri have both responded, emphasizing the importance of education to people worldwide.
Hi @Rihanna, education is a key area of German development policy. We have nearly doubled spending since 2013.Thanks for spreading the word! https://t.co/ff4QX1rb0s

Hola @Rihanna! Education is in the central core of our political aims. Only education can change the world. @EstebanBullrichhttps://t.co/T49GIB0QXo

Rihanna's Twitter outreach follows her recent trip to Malawi, where students often don't continue to secondary school. Working with the Global Partnership for Education, Rihanna has called these world leaders to commiting $3.1 billion towards funding education in over 80 countries between 2018 and 2020.
Props to Rihanna for using her celebrity platform to make a difference!
