Madewell, the casual clothing company, is teaming up with the Surfrider Foundation for a five-piece capsule collection that is exactly what your wardrobe needs for the summer! The Madewell x Surfrider line helps to clean up beaches and oceans every time you make a purchase.
Not only is Madewell doing its part to help the environment by bringing awareness to this worthy cause and donating a portion of the sales to it, but the Madewell teams on the West and the East coast spent a day cleaning their local beaches to mark the launch, according to Bustle.
The Surfrider Foundation’s mission is to “champion for policy and fight legal battles for our coasts, bring awareness to the issues facing our ocean, provide critical support on stuff like accounting, technology, and HR, and raise money to make all of this happen.” The organization focuses on increasing the number of public, accessible beaches, as well as ensuring clean water, costal preservation, ocean protection and protecting against plastic pollution.
