Can famous females ever catch a break? It's no secret that Rihanna is flawless in, like, all areas of life—her style, her bad girl attitude, her killer vocals and musical talent. She is practically a human goddess, which is probably why so many internet trolls try their hardest to knock her down. Well, RiRi has some news for the haters: It's not going to happen.
Last week, Barstoolsports.com published an offensive article that blatantly body-shamed the singer. The article was titled, "Is Rihanna Going to Make Being Fat the Hot New Trend?"
The ridiculous post featured photos of the star that draw attention to what the author describes as Rihanna's new "high key thiccness." RiRi fans had some thoughts about the articles.
I dunno what's more annoying.
Rihanna getting up to a size 8 and being labeled 'fat' or the people acting like 'fat' is insulting. https://t.co/SQgJm6QZtF— Tora Shae (@BlackMajiik) May 31, 2017
Before now, Rihanna hadn't responded to the body shamers. But in her typical, unbothered fashion, she finally took to Instagram Monday to send a message to anyone who isn't satisfied with her appearance. Newsflash: She couldn't care less.
The star is clearly unfazed by opinions about her body. Weight gain or no weight gain, she is more than confident in her skin. And let's be real, she slays no matter what.
