It's hard not to love eye-catching makeup trends—like meme eyeshadow—that leave people wondering, "how in the world did that makeup artist do that?!" Makeup artist Jasmine is making us think just that whenever she posts on her Instagram account, which showcases makeup looks created with live plants and animals!

Snail is Real This is a form of my artistic expression, i understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. I'm not asking you to get it or like it but if we can refrain from being mean about it, that'd be nice I'm inspired by nature and here's a byproduct of that. (Snail was found in my yard and promptly put right back where I found him after our photo shoot) Anyone else really like snails? She definitely takes the cake for being one of the most creative Instagram makeup artists: she uses live props like flowers, grass, snails and wasps. Per internet custom, Jasmine has received some hate for her unique makeup looks, getting criticized for her use of the animals. In response to the negative comments, she wrote, "Why do I have a live snail on my hand? I have it there cause I like snails. They're beautiful to me. This is a form of my artistic expression, I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. I'm not asking you to get it or like it but if we can refrain from being mean about it, that'd be nice."
