Who doesn’t want thicker, fuller hair? Unfortunately, unless you were born with it, it can be hard to achieve. If you’re like me, you may be sick of commercials for products that promise longer, thicker, hair, which only leave you, two months later, feeling stupid for buying into another marketing gimmick. For those of you who are still searching for that magical product that will give you the thick hair of your dreams (trust me, I'll let you know ASAP when I find it!) the best advice is to fake it till you make it!
Jen Atkin, a celebrity hairstylist and close friend of the Kardashians, recently teased fans with an Instagram photo of her goals-worthy Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pro Palette ($88 at Anastasia Beverly Hills) with the caption “Just landed in Kuwait and I brought my secret weapon for making hair look fuller @anastasiabeverlyhills brow palette!!”
Makeup lovers have been using the iconic ABH brow products for years to make their eyebrows appear fuller and thicker. I’ve become so attached to filling in my own eyebrows that my face feels alien without at least a little bit of ABH product on it. Who would have thought that the secret to making the hair on our head appear thicker had been right in front of us, possibly used daily, the whole time?
Although Jen did not elaborate on how she uses the brow powder to create thicker and fuller hair in this instance, she has revealed this trick before. All you need to do is use an eyeshadow brush to apply brow powder (ABH or otherwise) to your scalp along your part, and voilà! If you're still not convinced, just look through Jen's client list, which includes scores of A-listers such as Gigi Hadid, Khloe Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen, which should tell you everything you need to know. If this trick works for Chrissy, it works for me.
