We all know that our genitals can be super sensitive and what we put down there definitely matters. If you’ve ever tried a new wash or scrub that you thought you’d never recover from, then you’ll totally relate to this lady’s story.
She got into her shower and noticed her usual body wash was empty, so she reached for the next available product, which happened to be Original Source’s Mint and Tea Tree Shower Gel. She says she lathered all around and was having a “positively first class bathing experience.” Sounds great, right? Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when she moved to use the product around her "flaps."
On the front of the bottle, Original Source claims the Mint and Tea Tree gel has “7,929 tingling leaves.” Hmm, what does that mean exactly? For this poor girl, it meant a bush fire. In her post, she claims that it took her 12 hours to feel better down there… yikes!
The whole story is seriously hilarious but it definitely teaches us a big lesson here. Vagina owners: be extra careful what you use for intimate hygiene! You really only need a bar of soap and hot water. Over-the-top products (like bottles that claim to have 7,929 tingling leaves) can irritate your body and could throw off the correct chemical balance you should have down there.
Spice up your life, but maybe don’t spice up your shower.
