It's a universal fact that everyone loves Netflix, but the streaming service isn't the only one out there, and its catalog (though impressive) is far from exhaustive. Not to mention they're constantly booting content each month. That's where its competitors come in—and they have tons to offer, from lighthearted chick flicks to seriously messed up thrillers. I present to you a cheat sheet for what to watch on Hulu when Netflix isn't cutting it.

1. The Mindy Project

If you haven't seen The Mindy Project yet, I'm, like, seriously concerned about you. Mindy Kaling's comedy series, which originally called Fox its home, is the ultimate mix of irreverent and indulgent.

2. The Handmaid's Tale

Elisabeth Moss and Alexis Bledel (aka Rory Gilmore) in a horrifying dystopian society based on Margaret Atwood's classic novel? Um, yes.

3. Broad City

I can't get enough of this wacky romp starring ever-charming, ever-woke UCB alums Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson.

4. ThePath

Aaron Paul, Hugh Dancy and Michelle Monaghan star in an engrossing examination of religion, cults, romance and the supernatural.

5. Casual

It's tough to casually watch Casual (heh, get it?), a truly artful and human work of dramedy.

6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

If you love strong females kicking vampire butt while tossing off clever quips a mile a minute, Buffy is for you. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan and David Boreaneaz make up part of the "Scooby Gang" in this coming-of-age cult favorite.

7. Difficult People

Want to feel better about yourself while laughing your head off? Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner need no help, but they get plenty of big guest stars in this offbeat comedy about struggling comedians in New York.

8. The O.C.

Rich, attractive teens falling in love with each other = delicious escapism.

9. MasterChef Junior

These precocious nine-year-olds can make pasta, sushi and fillet tuna better than you ever will. It's a delight to watch them craft masterpieces and impress tough judges like Gordon Ramsay.

10. Saturday Night Live

Target Lady. Debbie Downer. David S. Pumpkins. Weekend Update. Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. Leslie Jones as Leslie Jones. Any questions?

11. Sabrina

Get lost in Audrey Hepburn's essential love triangle with William Holden and Humphrey Bogart. #browsonfleek

12. 10 Cloverfield Lane

I'm scared just looking at this picture of John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. in this psychological thriller. J.J. Abrams doesn't mess around.

13. Clueless

You've never seen Clueless? As if! But seriously, though, watch this '90s teen adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma starring Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd ASAP.

14. When We Rise

Sometimes heartbreaking but always uplifting, this miniseries chronicles the real-life personal and political struggles, setbacks and triumphs of three LGBT rights pioneers. You'll be a more compassionate person for watching it.

15. Mulan

This Disney film has everything—iconic songs, epic battles, sassy sidekicks and of course, a truly feminist heroine. I dare you not to love it.
