If you're anything like me, achieving the perfect cat eye can take hours of concentration, but even then your efforts can seem fruitless when the eyeliner doesn't turn out the way it's supposed to. Luckily, makeup artists have come up with handy eyeliner hacks like using tape or string. I love finding new ways of completing the perfect eyeliner with minimal effort, but one Instagram user, @visagieby_gunay, came up with an eyeliner makeup hack that could literally slice you.
The makeup artist posted an Instagram video of her using a SCISSOR BLADE to apply her liquid eyeliner. This girl literally pressed a knife-like object onto her face in the name of beauty, so she's obviously either fearless or insane. I'm assuming no one taught her how to handle scissors in a safe way when she was a child because that's the only logical explanation I can come up with. One false move, and the makeup tutorial could have quickly resembled a Quentin Tarantino movie rather than a simple eyeliner hack.
In the end, her eyeliner did look sharp af, but the risk involved is too great in my opinion. What's the point of slaying your eyeliner if you potentially have to follow it with a visit to a hospital?
