It has not been a good week for White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer - and of course, when Spicer is in the news, Melissa McCarthy's genius Saturday Night Live version of the press secretary is never far behind. This time, though, there was a bunny suit involved and we are HERE for it.
ICYMI, earlier this week, Spicer made headlines (again) for some, erm, interesting comments about Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad's use of chemical weapons, when he said, "You know, you had someone as despicable as Hitler who didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons." Naturally, people were not happy. While Spicer stumbled through a (super awkward) apology later in the press conference, the damage had been done. (Not to mention the fact that he still referred to concentration camps as "Holocaust centers.")
Which brings us to last night, in which Melissa McCarthy brought back her impression of Spicer as the official White House Easter Bunny. Which, side note, is a role Spicer actually held in 2008 - thankfully, there's photo evidence:

As usual, Melissa McCarthy's "press conference," included a brutally angry Sean Spicer, in addition to a United Airlines reference (because it wasn't such a great week for them either) and a hilariously wrong explanation of Passover, which Spicer seemingly prefers to call "Jewish Easter." Need I say more?
