Between the Bowling Green Massacre to telling everyone to, "Go buy Ivanka's stuff," Kellyanne Conway is no stranger to controversy. The latest thing she's catching heat for? The way she sits on the Oval Office couch.
A photo of the counselor to the president kneeling on the Oval Office couch as President Trump welcomed the presidents of HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities) is making its rounds on Twitter and people are NOT happy about it.
The photo in question shows her kneeling casually in a dress, still wearing her shoes tucked under her, while checking her phone.

Many Twitter users were noting that Conway's position was disrespectful to the Oval Office, as well as to the HBCU presidents in the room.
I have so many questions about this photo, but chief among them is why nobody is telling Kellyanne Conway to get her damn feet off the couch pic.twitter.com/tU0CBS36Fe

Some argued she wouldn't have done the same thing had the White House's visitors been white.
I title this picture "Hidden Fences."
The same lack of respect for Black excellence that causes that mixup is what has Conway so casual. pic.twitter.com/MaAqESV8ZY

Naturally, it didn't take long before the Internet turned the incident into a meme:

Of course, there was also the argument that several photos exist of former POTUS Barack Obama with his feet on his desk:
I'll take shoes on a couch over this any day. pic.twitter.com/JLE16uQFsF

The jury is out on whether or not the Internet is overreacting, but we'll take a fire meme any day.
