So that happened. The 2017 Oscars took us for a bit of a ride Sunday night, but between busloads of unknowing tourists and acceptance speeches that will make the history books, we still found a way to notice one of our favorite parts of Awards season: red carpet fashion. Here are 19 celebs whose gowns made us believe in fairytales all over again.

1. Isabelle Huppert

Huppert's ombré glitter dress is the perfect way to add some sparkle to a look, without committing to a full-fledged sequin gown.

2. Emma Roberts

Steal Roberts' look by pairing a casual black bralette, like this one ($20 at Aerie) with your favorite flowy skirt.

3. Halle Berry

Berry is a fashion goddess in Versace.

4. Felicity Jones

Tulle dresses are the perfect way to look grown-up while still feeling like you're donning a princess costume. Try this one ($175 at Modcloth) for similar results.

5. Leslie Mann

Am I the only one getting serious Belle, from Beauty and the Beast, vibes from Mann's dress? Make sure you check out the movie on March 17.

6. Chrissy Teigen

Is there any recent best dressed list that Teigen hasn't been on?

7. Karlie Kloss

Snaps for Kloss for showcasing her blue ribbon to show that she stands in solidarity with the American Civil Liberties Union.

8. Jessica Biel

Biel is blinding in this stunning gold gown. Her ensemble shows us that we shouldn't be afraid to pair loud accessories with an equally showstopping dress.

9. Janelle Monáe

Every part of this dress is absolutely stunning. Monáe is sporting a true work of art, and I'm not sure if I'm ever going to recover from my jaw dropping when I saw her.

10. Taraji P. Henson

A simple dress with a big leg slit has become a staple at almost every red carpet. Henson stands out from the rest with the stunning jewelry she paired with the blue velvet number.

11. Emma Stone

Emma glows in a classic Hollywood starlet dress. She brings a fresh twist to the tried-and-true 1920s style with a modern update to a simplistic makeup look.

12. Sofia Boutella

This mermaid gown is the prom dress of my dreams. It really is a shame that we don't have prom in college... Formal, anyone?

13. Priyanka Chopra

You can rock a geometric print like Chopra in a more casual setting with this similar-patterned, shorter dress ($75.50 at ASOS).

14. Scarlett Johanson

ScarJo hung up her badass Black Widow outfit, and opted for a floral dress that's perfect for spring!

15. Zuri Hall

This dress is absolutely beautifu—I just hope that there's someone taking care of that train. If Hall is any bit as clumsy as me, the purple extension would be stained within minutes!

16. Stacy London

The host of What Not To Wear took to the red carpet to show us how it's done! I love the fun clutch!

17. Viola Davis

Viola made us all cry with her poignant speech AND made a statement by outshining the red carpet in her candy red gown.

18. Hailee Steinfeld

*takes deep breaths*

19. Amy Schumer

What to wear? #oscars

Here's to hoping that Schumer found something to wear before she was set to head down the red carpet. If not, could we see duvets as the next trend of 2017? I'm—ahem—down with that.
