Does This Mean Taylor Swift's Music Might Be Coming Back to Spotify?

Any Taylor Swift fan with a Spotify subscription knows that Taylor infamously pulled all of her music from the streaming service back in 2014 - and our playlists have been lacking ever since because of it. Don't freak out, but there's actually a decent chance that Taylor may make her return to Spotify sometime in 2017.

ICYMI, Taylor's song "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" with Zayn Malik from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack was slyly added to Spotify's catalog at some point recently - marking the first time any of her new music has appeared on her Spotify artist profile since 2014.

Not only that, but rumors were already swirling at the end of 2016, suggesting that T-Swift might make her music available once again to Spotify subscribers. Music Week reported in November that Spotify UK's head of content programming, George Ergatoudis, had a successful meeting with Taylor's reps suggesting that she'd make her return to the streaming service.

"It's not a lock-in, but I've got every reason to be very optimistic Taylor Swift will be coming back to Spotify," he told Music Week. "I'm not saying it's done, but the indications are good, put it like that."

Though it only may be one song for now, we're hoping that this is an indication that there's more T-Swift to come to Spotify in the near future. Never ever ever getting back together? Maybe not so much.
