While Kylie can seemingly do no wrong with her lusted-after Kylie Cosmetics line (The lip kits! The merch!), she might have hit a sore spot with a few fans, who have taken to social media to point out some possibly sketchy business practices on Kylie's part.
Cosmopolitan reports that according to the swatches posted by a few Twitter users, the shade "Blitzen" from Kylie's Holiday Collection looks a little too close to the lip kit shade "Spice." The reason they're not so happy about it? "Blitzen" was sold as part of a limited edition set of mini lipsticks that sold for $36 - while "Spice" is sold with a matching lip liner for only $29.
The photos are pretty damning:
Why are Spice and Blitzen the same exact shade just different packaging? I'm so mad @kyliecosmetics@KylieJennerpic.twitter.com/BQiPdjmCFI

Kylie Cosmetics has been repackaging their general line lipsticks and making them limited edition. Example: spice and blitzen pic.twitter.com/VbVNqfahFs

Hmm. While we could totally understand having the option to buy a full-sized lip kit versus the option to buy a bunch of mini ones for a slightly higher price (who doesn't love options?), we think it's a little odd that Kylie wasn't just upfront about it and instead gave basically the same shade two different names - one of which was supposed to be "limited edition."
