Since the star released her now-famous lip kits, fans have fought to get their hands on the matte liquid lipstick and matching lip pencil duo, hoping that, with the right contouring tricks, they’ll be able to replicate Kylie’s famous pout.
Kylie, however, has proved that her makeup line has done more than just provide the world with bigger lips to show off on Instagram. Kylie Cosmetics partner with Smile Train, a charity that works to provide surgeries for children born with clef palate, free of charge. She released a lip kit appropriately named “Smile,” a gorgeous light pink, and announced that all profits from the sale of the product would go to Smile Train.
When the product was first released in the fall of 2016, it raised $159,000 for the charity, which equates to the funding of 638 surgeries for those in need. Since her latest restock of the product on January 5, People reports that the lip kit has raised nearly half a million dollars.
