Billie Lourd's Stepfather Posted the Sweetest Message Following the Death of Her Mother and Grandmother

Messages of support have been pouring in all over social media for Billie Lourd following the passing of her mother Carrie Fisher and grandmother Debbie Reynolds within days of one another. Celebrities like Taylor Lautner and her Scream Queens co-star Lea Michele have all posted sweet tributes to Billie after her devastating loss.

Her stepfather Bruce Bozzi, who is married to the 24-year-old actress's father Bryan Lourd, took to Instagram on Thursday to write Billie a touching message, telling her, "The strength of these women live so vibrantly in you," complete with a photo of all three women at her graduation from New York University two years ago.

 

@praisethelourd it's an honor to be your Stepfather. This day, your NYU grad day we had so much fun! Yankee Stadium your mom and I laughed our asses off, as she kept one fantastic line coming after the other - no less when we all fell asleep the night before in the smaller ceremony because it was so boring. Every time Carrie looked at me she said " how are you still awake"! Your grandmother with our sweet Ava was the kindest most loving. So...as Carrie said to me years ago " I'm a good stepmother" I promise I will always be & the strength of these women live so vibrantly in you. I've been lucky enough to see this for a decade! According to ABC News, the date for the funeral has yet to be decided, but Lourd's uncle has confirmed that the funerals for Fisher and Reynolds will be held together. While we can't imagine the heartbreak and pain Billie is experiencing right now, it's reassuring to know she has the support of family and friends while she's grieving.
