We '90s kids grew up learning about love from couples like Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski. But Saved by the Bell executive producer Peter Engel recently revealed to TVLine that Zack and Kelly probably didn't last.

Bayside’s cutest couple eloped in Las Vegas one year after their high school graduation, and their marriage apparently didn't last long after that.
When asked if Zack and Kelly would still be married today, Engel said, “Probably not. Well, they’d be married—but not to each other.”
We don't think we can get on board with Engel's predictions for the gang, especially if it means kissing a Zack-and-Kelly coupledom goodbye. In our minds, they'll always be high school sweethearts who made it work.
