Netflix has finally done it: the company now allows you to download your favorite movies and TV shows to watch offline. Anytime, anywhere. Everyone's favorite addiction-enabler made the annoucement via Twitter Wednesday morning.

To download something to watch (for no extra cost!) on your Android and iOS phones and tablets, simply go to the details page on a movie or show and click the download button. It's that simple. Downloads are available for all plans, as long as you have the most recent Netflix app update.
To easily find content that is downloadable, Netflix has added an "Available for Download" section. Highlights include One Tree Hill, Parks and Recreation and Orange Is The New Black. Sadly, it does not yet include Gilmore Girls or its revival.
Our only question is: Why didn't Netflix do this in time for us to download Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life??
