As the Gilmore Girlsrevival nears, more and more top secret info is being revealed about what's been going on in Stars Hollow. Rory might have a journalism job, Lorelai and Luke might (still? again?) be a thing and all of Rory's former flames will be making an appearance. Unfortunately, there is one character that won't be returning to the show—Edward Herrmann, who played Richard Gilmore and passed away in 2014. In the trailer, we saw Emily Gilmore cleaning out her house and experimenting with the Kondo method (so 2016 of her), and we saw Lorelai and Rory attending Richard's funeral. The Gilmore patriarch's prescence will definitely be missed, as will his sense of humor and grandfatherly advice and love.
