It's time for your weekly dose of all things super. This week in CW superheroes…
Supergirl
What you need to know about this episode:
Not only is the POTUS in this universe a woman but she's also Wonder Woman.
What you need to know about Mon-El:
We can't say that Kara and Mon-El's argument wasn't beaming with sexual chemistry, but we'll just say we're okay with the whole dumping-James thing if it was for an alien upgrade.
What had us shouting at the TV:
In his first editorial meeting as the new Cat, James totally had his thunder stolen by meanie journalist/Kara's new boss, Snapper Carr.
Best quote of the episode:
"Should I get a blowout?"— Kara, when she found out she was going to meet the president (who she totally fangirled over).
What we can't wait to see next week:
The President is an alien! The President is an alien!
The Flash
What you need to know about the Rogues:
In DC comics, the Rogues are the evil version of the Justice League. They team up to defeat the Flash, led by our favotite parka-wearing thief, Captain Cold.
What had us shouting at the TV:
"Captain Cold is back! He's alive? Do the Legends know?"
Two minutes later: "It was a flashback! What a cruel joke!"
Best quote of the episode:
"Oh my God, I've become Oliver."— Barry, teaching Jesse the precision involved in the speed force.
What we can't wait to see next week:
We definitely weren't happy to see Harry and Jesse leave Earth One, but we're even more unhappy about the new, sketchy Wells that Harry recruited from Earth 19. Caitlin also seems to be having some issues with her powers.
Arrow
What you need to know about this episode:
Oliver totally broke Dig out of jail against almost everyone's wishes—including Diggle's.
What you need to know about Oliver's new team:
Left behind to play hero by themselves in Oliver's absense, the group suited up, and Wild Dog got captured by Tobias Church.
Best quote of the episode:
"Was he waiting for an entrance line?"— Rory
"No, he's just that cool."— Curtis
What we can't wait to see next week:
Oliver is shot and bleeding in the promo. What is happening?
Legends of Tomorrow
What you need to know about this episode:
Nate is now Citizen Steel thanks to Ray's super serum, but Ray is without powers of his own since his Atom suit was destroyed.
Best quote of the episode:
"How does the Shogun even know how to use the Atom suit?"— Sara
"I designed it so an idiot could use it."— Ray
"An idiot does."— Mick
What we can't wait to see next week:
Firestorm discovered a secret hatch that Rip never told anyone about, which contains a message from a 2056-era Barry Allen. And they kept it a secret from the rest of the team.
