We Might Be Getting More 'Sex & The City'

Believe it or not, it has actually been six years since we last saw the ladies of Sex and the City on the big screen. Even after all the years that have passed since SATC 2, we still held out hope that the adventures of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha would continue for as long as possible. Now, Sarah Jessica Parker is fueling the hope that SATC could return to TV at some point.

"I don't think any of us have said no. I don't know whether it's a series or the movie," Sarah Jessica Parker said. "I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it's been resolved. I think that's always a possibility, definitely."

So basically, the door to SATC will never close. If Sarah's statements weren't enough, Willie Garson (aka Stanford) said that none of the cast members would shy away from another SATC chapter. "We honestly don't know," he said. "I know that Sarah and Michael [Patrick King] had at one point had an idea for a story, but we honestly don't know."

"Any time we tease anyone with the possibility, we're just being cheeky!" he added.

As to whether or not he would love to see the series return to the big screen, Willie said he wouldn't hesitate to continue playing Stanford for years. "I would make a hundred of them. I'll be in a walker with a broken hip! But I would keep going."

And even though we all love the show because of the lavish parties and drama, Wiliie believes that the popularity can be attributed to the characters and their relationships with each other. "Whether they know it or not, the show is about connections between people and about love," he said.

"People don't know while they're watching it, because they're focusing on the fancy clothes, and the jokes, and the crazy situations, but really what it's about is human connection," he explained. And we have to agree.
