The recent increase of female-led superhero films and television shows has been nice, but we're always looking for more. Thankfully, we're in luck because another movie featuring a female superhero is in the works. She may not be your typical heroine and she’d probably fight you if you suggested she is, but she's definitely one badass chick not to be messed with.
If you haven’t guessed already, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn is getting her own spin-off film. Stealing the show with her unbelievable performance in this summer’s lackluster Suicide Squad, a Harley Quinn solo story is deserved, particularly for Robbie's take on the character. No other information has been released at this time, but will she appear in the film sans the Joker? It's rare to see Harley without her paramour, but we wouldn’t mind watching Robbie take on the action all by herself.
In addition to her role as Harley Quinn, Robbie will reportedly also contribute as a co-producer on the upcoming action flick. Seems she's just as badass as the heroine she plays.
