Hotel heiress Paris Hilton appeared on CNBC’s Closing Bell with Kelly Evans and Bill Griffeth on Wednesday and made some remarks about presidential candidate Donald Trump.
When asked about the conservative and offensive (yet somehow popular) Republican nominee, Hilton said, “I’ve known him since I’m a little girl. He’s a very nice man. You know, I think on TV people like to say things about certain people, but he’s actually a very sweet person. I like him a lot.”
Despite Trump having said some very questionable and distasteful things about Mexicans, women and other minority groups, Paris went on to say that Ivanka Trump is a “brilliant businesswoman,” that she’s handled her father’s run for presidency “very well,” and that she’s “very happy for her.”
While we don’t know who Hilton is voting for to lead our country, we do know that in 2008 she released a Funny or Die video poking fun at John McCain for using her image in one of his campaign videos. So even though her mother taught her “not to talk about money or politics,” it seems like Paris could vote liberal or conservative this election season.
