Kylie Jenner is known for many things, one of them being her ever-changing hair colors. These are usually just wigs or extensions, but recently Jenner took a big leap and dyed her hair platinum blonde.
If you’re like us, then you watch Kylie’s Snapchats all the time. So that means you probably saw the whole process of her dye job. From her black-and-white image hinting at a new hue—but not revealing what it was—to her asking if she should use toner to make her hair a honey color or keep it platinum, the fans saw it all!
Someone with a huge cosmetics empire, calculated outfits and a hectic schedule would plan out her dramatic hair change this way, right? Well, it turns out it wasn’t planned at all. Jenner revealed to PEOPLE that her platinum hair wasn’t supposed to turn out as light as it did.
“I actually didn’t mean to go platinum…I really wanted a nice, honey dirty blonde and when we started bleaching it, it got so light so fast and I was like ‘Wow, my hair is not damaged, I can do this.’ So I went for it. ”
Despite the little bump in her hair plans, Kylie came out looking so good! If all of our accidental hair mishaps turned out with her results, we’d be set for life.
