ABC Has Revealed the Cast & Premiere Date of 'The Bachelor Winter Games'

If you can’t get enough of The Bachelor and all of its addicting spinoffs, ABC is ready to fill your void yet again. Us Weekly explains that ABC announced the contestants in their newest addition to The Bachelor family: The Bachelor Winter Games.

The latest addition to the franchise premieres on Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (obviously on ABC),Entertainment Weeklyreveals. However, the show will only feature four episodes—because The Bachelor universe apparently enjoys toying with our hearts.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, some of the contestants include Ben (from The Bachelor Season 20), Luke (The Bachelorette Season 12), Clare (The Bachelor Season 18) and Lily (The Bachelor Season 3). TBH, we’re a little salty that Peter Kraus isn’t going to be in attendance.

While the show is centered on finding love, because The Bachelor has a common theme of doing that, contestants will compete in an assortment of Olympic-themed events. Entertainment Weekly explains that contestants will compete for love via winter biathlon, ice dancing and more. Clearly, these contestants are more dedicated to finding their special person than we are. (Because we consider putting on makeup for a date enough of a sport.)

In total, there will be two dozen singles fighting for the chance to find love (since nothing says romance like competing in sporting events.) Nevertheless, we’re glad to see that The Bachelor Winter Games will feature an international cast of bachelors and bachelorettes. Plus, we’re relieved that Nick Viall didn’t make the cut.

Reese Witherspoon & Eva Longoria Had Some ~Thoughts~ About the Pay Gap on the Golden Globes Red Carpet

Last night’s Golden Globes featured a plethora of inspirational moments where the women of entertainment took the opportunity to speak out against sexual harassment and sexism in the industry, and Reese Witherspoon and Eva Longoria also used their voices to talk about the age-old pay gap—and we’re living for it.

During an interview with E!’s Ryan Seacrest, Longoria had some very powerful words to share, "We stand with you Catt!" she said. Entertainment Weekly explains that Witherspoon also nodded to show her support.

In case you don’t know, the “Catt” that Longoria mentions is none other than Catt Sadler, who left E! News after discovering her co-host made more than her (by a lot). We’re glad that Longoria and Witherspoon voiced their opinions about this important issue because equal pay doesn't just affect Sadler. And nobody should have to quit their job because they aren’t receiving equal pay.

We aren’t the only ones moved by Longoria and Witherspoon’s comments. Sadler toldPeople, "I am immensely grateful for the outpouring of support today. Thank you to Amy, Debra, Eva, Brie, Julianne and so many more women using their voices on behalf of us all. Time’s Up."

Seeing as Longoria and Witherspoon took the opportunity to speak to a reporter from E!, it’s clear that the duo seized the moment to call E! News out for their wage discrepancies. Longoria continued her interview with Seacrest by stating, “We support gender parity and equal pay, and we hope E! stands with that.” Hopefully E! will address this issue by supporting equal pay for all its employees and co-hosts.

Witherspoon also explained toAccess that she and Longoria helped ignite the Time’s Up initiative because, “We couldn’t be business as usual this award season. We have to speak up and say something.”

It's evident that this duo’s activism has contributed to millions of donations for this organization. People explains that Time’s Up has been able to raise over $16 million to help individuals fight workplace harassment. We’re overjoyed to see celebrities like Longoria and Witherspoon work together to justify workplace injustices.

The Complete Guide to Cleaning Out Your Makeup Bag

$

Seriously, how did it get so dirty in there? Unless you’re a super neat freak, there’s no way your makeup bag doesn’t have a bunch of stains or old makeup lingering. But once it’s time to get clean, it’s so hard to let go. Well, with this guide you can know exactly how to clean out your makeup bag while keeping the best essentials for everyday use.

Find what needs to be thrown out

If you’re the type of person who never cleans their makeup brushes, you need to read this.

Makeup enthusiast and Rutgers sophomore Lauren Reid has some great advice based on her experience doing her own and others’ makeup. She says, “When you haven’t used something in a while it depends. Certain powder products like eyeshadow or bronzer will get tougher to use. But it’s just the top layer and once you work past that they should be good to go.”

Liquid products are a different story. You may have seen your foundation separate after a few months—Lauren says this shouldn't be a problem until much later. “Concealer and foundation art good to use after a while of no use, but it just depends on each bottle.” Use your best judgment and think about how most watery substances gather bacteria after standing for a long period of time. You don’t want to clog up your pores and get acne just from applying makeup!

Long story short: If it’s liquid, it’s the party for bacteria. If it’s powdery, it’ll last you much longer. “I always keep blush and highlighter and throw away mascara because it expires, and I don’t use foundation very often,” says NYU sophomore Monique Muse. If you’re like her, you’re probably doing a good job of keeping tabs on your makeup habits.

You might want to give your unused, but not too old, products to friends as a gift (as long as it isn’t something you used on your eyes). Florida State University sophomore Nicole Garcia added that she keeps a drawer specifically for this reason. “I put them in a small makeup bag in the drawer so when I do my spring cleaning I check the products in the bag and either give them to my friends or throw it out,” she says.

Find your essential items

Because your makeup bag goes with you everywhere, you can’t keep the whole world in it; that’s probably what made it dirty in the first place! So how do you know what your essentials are? Whether you’re a chapstick and mascara kind of girl, or you can’t leave the house without a full face of makeup, your essentials will never include all of your makeup.

“Since I love makeup and always do a full face, I take everything with me when I pack makeup,” Lauren says. But her everyday bag looks different (and it should): “In my purse I’ll have my pressed powder and lipstick to freshen up throughout the day as well as blotting papers.”

Aujanae Dickson-Whitfield, a sophomore at UNC Charlotte, is the perfect example of finding what works for you. “I should start keeping makeup wipes on me, because when I wear eyeliner I accidentally rub my eye and end up smearing it throughout the day,” she says.

University of Alabama sophomore Nicole Kaye says she isn’t too invested in her makeup. “I always have a tweezer, tampons, eyelash curler, tissues, and then all the general makeup stuff,” she says. This is the perfect group of products for a quick touch up during the day (and she’s super prepared for emergencies), nothing more!

The key is finding what you use the most. Take mental notes to figure out what usually goes into your beauty routine to help narrow it down.

Actually clean it

Makeup bags usually have a plastic inside, so they’re not too hard to clean. The hardest part is simply setting aside the time to do it.

The quickest way to tackle it: Take your makeup wipes or micellar water on a cotton pad and wipe out the inside. To disinfect, put some rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad or in a spray bottle and wipe it down thoroughly. Let it sit for a few minutes before refilling it.

The long way to tackle it: Dish soap and water, and a scrubber. If your makeup bag is in desperate need of a clean, this method may be for you.

As for brushes, you should probably focus on cleaning these the most. “I clean my brushes less than I probably should but I’ve forced myself to get in the habit of washing them when I do my weekend deep cleans in my apartment,” says Nicole Garcia. Include brush cleaning in your regular cleaning! Then you’ll never forget.

“So much bacteria gets on brushes that people don’t realize, and a clean brush always applies a lot better than a dirty one. For cleaning brushes I just use warm water and baby soap and brush them, and then put them back to shape to dry,” Lauren says. Although she owns a lot of brushes, she still puts in the effort.

Your makeup bag doesn't have to be the source of grime. With these tips you can keep it looking as fresh and beautiful as the products you store in it!

Princess Charlotte attended her first day of preschool on Monday, BBC News reports.

The two-year-old princess, who was photographed before heading off to Willcocks Nursery School in London, looked adorable in her red coat and shoes and pink backpack. According to ABC News, Princess Kate told a young girl during a visit to a children’s center in London in November that Charlotte’s favorite color is pink.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning. The images were taken by the Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

According to ABC News, Prince William and Kate announced where Charlotte would be attending nursery school in December.

The preschool, which is located near Kensington Palace as well as the school that Prince George attends, says that it’s a “traditional nursery school which strives to maintain its ethos for high standards, excellence and good manners,” ABC News reports.

We wish Princess Charlotte good luck as she starts school!

There is a Possibilty That Special Counsel Robert Mueller May Need to Speak with Trump

During an interview last month with President Trump’s lawyers regarding the Russia investigation, Special Counsel Robert Mueller raised the possibility of interviewing Trump, ABC News reports.

ABC News also reported that this was not the first time that special counsel had brought up the possibility with Trump’s legal team.

According to NBC News, Trump’s legal team has been discussing possible options — such as written responses in the form of a questionnaire — for the president to make a statement to the special counsel in-lieu of a formal sit-down interview.

However, those who have served in the Justice Department doubt that Mueller, who served as FBI Director for 12 years, would decide not to formally interview the president, NBC News reports.

"Prosecutors want to see and hear folks in person," said Chuck Rosenberg, former U.S. attorney and Chief of Staff to FBI Director James Comey.

“They want to probe and follow up. Body language and tone are important. And they want answers directly from witnesses, not from their lawyers. The odds of prosecutors agreeing to written responses are somewhere between infinitesimally small and zero,” Rosenberg said.

There has yet to be any formal request for an interview, but according to NBC News, an interview, or written response, could occur in a matter of weeks.

Just this past weekend at Camp David, Trump told reporters, “Just so you understand, there's been no collusion, there's been no crime, and in theory everybody tells me I'm not under investigation. Maybe Hillary (Clinton) is, I don't know, but I'm not. But we have been very open. We could have done it two ways. We could have been very closed, and it would have taken years. But you know, sort of like when you've done nothing wrong, let's be open and get it over with.”

“Because, honestly, it's very, very bad for our country," the president said. "It's making our country look foolish. And this is a country that I don't want looking foolish. And it's not going to look foolish as long as I'm here,” Trump added, NBC News reports.

According to ABC News, a source has said that Trump’s legal team has been cooperative with Mueller’s investigation, often asking if there was anything that they could provide the special counsel with in order to expedite the process.

Mueller’s office has declined to state if there will be an interview, ABC News reports.

Trump’s lawyer, John Dowd, said in a statement to NBC News, “The White House does not comment on communications with the OSC (Office of Special Counsel) out of respect for the OSC and its process. The White House is continuing its full cooperation with the OSC in order to facilitate the earliest possible resolution.”

3 Little Things You Should Stop Doing For a Healthier Relationship

$
0
0

Let’s get real: relationships are difficult. Whether you’ve been dating your SO for the last four days or four years, there’s always a kink (as well as the fun kind of kink) or two in even the healthiest relationship.

Even if the smallest complication in you and your bae’s relationship doesn’t seem like a big deal, it can turn into a plague on your relationship if you continue to obsess over the same small things.

After all, the little things in life matter and the little things in your relationship shouldn’t be treated any differently. Learning how to let go of certain things will help your relationship become ever healthier.

1. Overthinking

We know as soon as you tell yourself to stop overthinking, you’re going to start overthinking even more. One thing will lead to another, and you’ll be contemplating how your beau is planning to move to a different country and marry a Victoria’s Secret model all because he said he was too busy to meet for lunch today.

We can all be professional overthinkers at times, but if you’re consistently overthinking simple things that your SO does (or doesn’t do), then you should talk to your partner about this. Let them know that you’ve been overthinking things.

Communicating to your SO about why you’ve been overthinking will allow you both to understand some of the triggers and underlying reasons for your overthinking.

Related: Dating Advice I Wish Someone Had Given Me Before College

If you notice that you tend to dwell on similar situations, then you might be worried that your partner doesn’t like you as much as they used to. Talking to your SO about this can make your relations a lot less stressful.

As a chronic overthinker myself, it's better to have a discussion with your SO about how you interpret what they are and aren't doing. Rather than letting those thoughts consume your emotional health, chatting with your SO will allow you both to get some clarify (after all, your bae might be overthinking some things too).

If talking to your partner about the miniscule things that make you overthink (and the bigger picture issues that might be causing you to overthink) doesn’t help, then you both could work on ways to calm your overactive imagination:

  • Don’t focus on the things that can go wrong. Harmless overthinking can be exacerbated because you only focus on the things that could go wrong. So if you start to worry that your SO is becoming distant because he or she couldn’t Netflix and binge eat pizza this week, then you should stop yourself short of thinking that bae has a side piece. Instead, think of the positive things your SO could be doing. He or she could be working, finishing an essay or even visiting the local animal shelter to surprise you with the cutest and softest puppy ever (okay, that might be a long shot, but we can all dream). Regardless, try to focus on the optimistic scenarios too, so your overthinking doesn’t consume you.

  • Be proactive about your overthinking. Noticing when you’re overthinking is a skill that is mastered by few. However, when you do first notice your exaggerated thinking, don’t just think about it and wait for all those thoughts to resurface at the most inopportune time — do something about it. Think about what you can actively do about whatever it is that causes you to overthink. Whatever that action is, you need to do it (even if it’s as simple as talking to your SO or doing something for yourself to forget about your nagging thoughts).

  • Realize that overthinking won’t solve anything. You probably can’t predict the future, and even if you could, overthinking isn’t going to fix whatever minor issues you’re having in your relationship.

2. Getting hung up on the differences

It shouldn’t be news that everyone’s different. Even you and your bestie have your differences (despite the fact that you both are basically twins), so it’s completely natural for you and your SO to have different likes and dislikes.

Granted, it’s important that you and your beau agree on more significant issues (like your basic survival plan if the zombie apocalypse ever happens and how many dogs you should get), but you shouldn’t fret if your partner has a slightly different lifestyle than you.

Molly Crum, a James Madison University alumna, explains that you shouldn’t “let small differences in personality or preferences totally freak you out.” Molly continues, “for example, I really enjoy working out daily whereas my boyfriend only exercises when he can around his busy schedule and if he truly feels like it. However, our differences are nothing drastic; he never tries to change me or stop me from doing my workouts, and I never pressure him to join me at the gym. Of course shared values and interests are important, but small differences can actually keep a relationship interesting as long as each of you accept the other for who they are.” After all, you shouldn’t want to change your partner.

Obviously, any lifestyle differences might seem like a deal breaker in the long run, but ultimately it doesn’t matter if your SO exercises less than you or puts milk in the bowl before the cereal (even if that does seem a bit insulting). Therefore, you shouldn’t worry about any small differences between the two of you.

3. Comparing your partner to anyone else

While you may not be verbalizing these comparisons to your SO (though if you are, seriously stop, because comparing anyone to another person is one of the worst things you can do for someone’s self-esteem and mental health), it’s unrealistic to compare your current SO to your ex.

Obviously, your SO isn’t your ex, but that isn’t a bad thing — seeing as your ex is your ex for a reason. Regardless, if you’re still doting on whatever good qualities your ex had, you should instead focus on the awesome qualities that made you fall in love (or like) with your SO. After all, it’s not very healthy to mentally compare your partner with anyone else (including other Instagram couples).

John Remus, a senior at Iowa State University, explains that also "you shouldn't compare yourself to other people." John continues, "I used to compare myself to other guys, and that made me feel really inadequate in my past relationships." After all, comparing yourself to other people (whether they're your SO's friends of a celeb) isn't healthy either and can cause some serious jealous and intimacy issues in your relationship.

Regardless, your SO is a different person (thankfully) and you should love that your bae is different. Instead of obsessing over the little things in your relationship, you should learn to enjoy your SO’s company – so you can be truly happy in your relationship.

Trump Administration Wants $18 Billion to Build the 'Wall'& Sen. Bernie Sanders is Not Having It

$

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) criticized President Trump’s proposal for $18 billion to build a border wall between the United States and Mexico over the next decade, ABC News reports.

“The idea of spending some $18 billion on a wall does not make any sense. The American people, in fact, do not want to spend billions a border wall which Trump told us would be paid for by the Mexican government, which of course is not going to be paid for by Mexico. They want to protect Dreamers and working families and that is what we must do,” Sanders wrote on his social media page.

The proposal, according to The Wall Street Journal, includes a request for $18 billion to build more than 700 miles of new and replacement barriers between the U.S. and Mexico, bringing the barrier to nearly 1,000 miles long.

Trump’s promise to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico has become part of the negotiations to create legislation to protect the young, undocumented immigrants, also known as Dreamers, living in the U.S.

The administration also wants a “sweeping set of immigration-enforcement and other policy changes” included in any deal to provide legalization for the Dreamers, The Wall Street Journal reports.

In addition, the president wants more limitations on families sponsoring their relatives, and wants to end the diversity-visa lottery, which seeks to help individuals from countries underrepresented in U.S. immigration come to the U.S. Furthermore, the president also seeks to change the asylum system and to require companies to use the e-Verify system to ensure that their prospective employees are eligible to work.

According to ABC News, during an interview with George Stephanopoulos on “This Week,” Stephanopoulos asked Sanders if there was a possible compromise for the wall in order to protect the Dreamers.

“I don't think there's anybody who disagrees that we need strong border security. If the president wants to work with us to make sure we have strong border security, let’s do that,” Sanders responded.

“But the idea of spending some $18 billion on a wall that most people think will not do what he says it will do does not make any sense.”

5 Times Season 22 of 'The Bachelor' Was Already Too Extra

You guys, season 22 of The Bachelor has been no joke. In just two episodes we've already seen two one-on-ones, met Arie's parents, viewed a plethora of baby photos, and even watched a girl get hysterical on national television because a demolition derby group date triggered her to a traumatic childhood bumper car experience. More of this, please and thank you.

Though Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his 29 women have been entertaining AF, even the most extreme messes among us have to admit that some of the moments from tonight's episode were too unbelievable. Get ready to feel some scorching secondhand embarrassment, and let's recap the situations that had us choking.

1. The fact that Arie gifted Becca with a full set of Neil Lane jewelry on their first date

He even put the earrings IN HER EARS for her. And let Rachel Zoe style her. Like, just propose to the girl already.

2. When Arie took Krystal to meet his entire family

I would have tapped out so fast.

3. Annaliese trying to play off that she has bumper car trauma, & that's why she can't even on this date right now

This girl literally was bawling as she recounted a childhood bumper car story that left her scarred for life––except that nothing bad happened to her. She felt trauma just because.

4. The multiple makeout sessions between Bekah and Arie that had us dry heaving

Bekah is 22 and Arie is 36, so basically their hot and heavy kissing is making everyone uncomfy.

5. Bibiana & Krystal giving us mid-season drama, but on week two

"When you learn to speak to me like a normal human being and not a fake tone, I can actually respect you and listen to you," Bibiana spits at Krystal as I inhale sharply.

Well, that's two weeks down, but there many more evenings of pillow lips and unearthed childhood trauma to come. Follow our Bachelor updates here, and we'll see you next week.

10 Real AF Tweets About Becca & Krystal's Dates on 'The Bachelor'

$
0
0

Dates during the first official week of a Bachelor season usually equate to modest trips to the beach or a casual helicopter ride, but Arie Luyendyk's first one-on-one dates on Monday's episode took an extremely different turn.

Although I loved the down-to-earth realness of first date receiver Becca Kufrin, seeing Arie shower her with fancy dresses and expensive shoes felt a little strange. Have we entered an alternative time zone that's two months ahead and showing us the final four contestants' dates? The glitziest gift Rachel Lindsay gave one of her Bachelorette guys was a watch while in Europe, which I guess is like the male equivalent of a coveted dress-and-shoe combo?

Nah, just kidding. It's totally not.

Krystal Nielson, the second one-on-one date, wasn't spoiled to the same extreme, but she had the unprecedented task of visiting Arie's hometown and meeting his family during the competition's first week. The date got intense pretty quickly, with Arie whipping out baby photos and home videos despite the fact that it was evidence of his past life as Zach Braff. Meeting the Luyendyks also inspired Krystal to open up about her difficult relationship with her family, which is huge for first date conversations.

While the show's attempts at being more serious sooner could be a good sign, count me among the fans confused about how extra Becca and Krystal's dates were. Here are 10 of our favorite real AF tweets about these women's peculiar dates.

Firstly, the goodies Becca came away from her date with were pretty excessive. Who else thinks that she'll have to find a stellar hiding spot for those Louboutins when there are still that many jealous women around?

In fact, just how doting Arie was of Becca felt a tad creepy. There is such a thing as coming on too strong.

In an Instagram moment gone wrong, Becca and Arie's attempts to launch a confetti release stalled before they essentially triggered a sonic boom. Like...why did there have to be confetti? They were alone? In an abandoned-looking room?

Becca's date included a motorcycle, a shopping spree, a B-list celeb appearance and an unnecessarily high confetti budget. So...should everyone just go home now?

"Oh, nvm, we're just going to slowly introduce the women to Arie's parents each week. That'll save us money for another candlelit personal concert by the end of the season!"

Going through the family archives of home videos is cute if you're at your sister's baby shower. On a first date, I don't even want to see a picture of the guy's bad haircut from two weeks ago.

Imagine being one of the final two to meet Arie's parents and all your future mother-in-law can talk about is how nice that Krystal girl was.

Plot twist: Arie proposes mid-season and a new Bachelor arrives...

I mean, I'm down.

Ultimately, if this episode is any warning of how the season may go, we have many a drastically intimate one-on-one to look forward to. If there are any dates that require Arie to put on scrubs or a white lab coat a la Braff's J.D., I'm totally fine with this faster pace.

HC Wake-Up Call: SCOTUS Says It Won't Intervene in Mississippi Gay Rights Legal Fight, U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley Says White House Staff 'Loves Their President', & Girl Scout Cookie Season Has Officially Began

Good morning Her Campus! With a break-neck news cycle, there is no possible way for you to stay on top of every story that comes across your feeds—we’re all only human, after all.

But, life comes at you fast. So grab a cup of coffee and settle in for this quick and dirty guide to stories you might’ve been sleeping on (like, literally. It’s early.)

SCOTUS Says It Won’t Intervene in Mississippi Gay Rights Legal Fight

According to ABC News, the Supreme Court has said that it will not be weighing in on the Mississippi law that allows government workers and owners of private businesses to refuse service to the LGBT community based on their religious beliefs.

The justices did not make any remarks as to why they chose to leave in place the federal appeals court ruling, which let the law go into effect.

The law, which was drafted in 2015 and signed into law by Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, established that a marriage was between a man and a woman, that sex could only occur if the heterosexual couple was married and that a person’s gender is determine at their birth, ABC News reports.

But the legal battle may not be over yet. A federal judge left some room for the law to still be overturned if its challengers can find an individual who was actually harmed by the law, meaning that they had been denied services and now could pursue a legal remedy.

Nikki Haley Says the White House Staff “Loves Their President”

In the aftermath of the Fire and Fury escapade, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley has spoken out, saying that she has never heard anyone call President Trump “unstable,” The New York Post reports.

During ABC’s “This Week”, Haley remarked, “I know those people in the White House. These people love their country and respect our president. … No one questions the [mental] stability of the president.”

Haley added that the White House staff is committed to their jobs and serving the president, otherwise “they wouldn’t be there.”

According to The New York Post, Haley said that she personally had never witnessed a time when she thought that Trump was “unstable.”

“I work with the president and speak with him multiple times a week,” Haley said. “He didn’t become the president by accident, and as much as everyone wants to talk about stability: Was he unstable when he passed the tax reform? Was he unstable when we finally hit back at Syria and said, ‘No more chemical weapons’? Was he unstable when we finally put North Korea on notice?”

In regards to Trump’s “nuclear button” tweet last week, Haley said, “...we’re not letting up on the pressure. We’re not going to let them go and dramatize the fact that they have a button right on their desk and they can destroy America. We want to always remind them we can destroy you too, so be very cautious and careful with your words and what you do.”

In a Total Dad Move, Milo Ventimiglia Fell into the Pool at a Golden Globes After Party

Just when we thought we couldn't love him any more for making us sob our eyes out as Jack Pearson every week on This Is Us (which, mark your calendars, happens to return for the second half of season two tonight!), Milo Ventimiglia just pulled an adorable dad move at a Golden Globes after party.

In his Instagram story early Monday morning, the actor revealed to fans that he did, in fact, fall into the pool while attending HBO's Golden Globes after party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel after rumors started circulating on Twitter that he'd accidentally taken a quick dip into the only uncovered section of the venue's pool. (Oops.)

"Good time at the Globes tonight," the This Is Us star later said in his appearance on his Instagram story (in which he also happened to be rocking some fresh, dry clothes, wet hair and glasses, and, LOL). In his defense, has the party really even started yet if someone hasn't fallen into the pool?

After congratulating his co-star Sterling K. Brown for winning Best Actor in a TV Drama for his portrayal of his on-screen son, Milo also showed off a This Is Us script and revealed he was "studying for filming tomorrow." Thankfully, it looks like the only thing injured in the incident was Milo's ego and he'll be making a quick return to our TV screens to make us ugly-cry every Tuesday night.

Not going to lie — when Millie Bobby Brown originally posted a picture with Drake, I figured she was just another fan who had the blessing of meeting him in real life. But when he also posted a picture from when they originally met a couple months backstage at one of his shows, it seemed like this might actually be a blossoming friendship.

This 'Game of Thrones'-Themed Ice Hotel Is Here to Stop the Pain of Waiting for Season 8

Feeling Game of Thrones withdrawals? Well have no fear. Just take a quick trip to Finland and you can get your fix, where a Game of Thrones-themed ice hotel is open for the season. The Lapland Hotels Snow Village is no gimmick either. The entirely made-of-ice palace was created in collaboration with HBO Nordic, so it's about as authentic as you can get...in the real world, at least.

The actual concept of an ice hotel isn't revolutionary, but one themed after Game of Thrones takes it to a whole new level. This massive ice creation includes rooms, a bar, chapel and restaurant, all with decorations inspired from the show.

Bookings are limited, since there are only 14 bedrooms and 10 suites, but the rooms feature intricately carved images from GOT and of course you get to use the ice bar and see all of the other sick ice sculptures, like a dragon overlooking the bar. If you're lucky, you'll get the room with a White Walker staring at you as you sleep. Cozy.

Finland isn't exactly a casual weekend getaway and the SnowVillage is only open until April 2018, but if you're really craving a GOT experience while patiently awaiting Season eight, spring break under the northern lights could be an idea.

Iguanas Are Falling Out Of Trees In Florida From The Cold (But They're Probably Alive & Okay)

By now I’m sure you have heard of the crazy cold weather that’s hitting the east coast right now. But do you know what these icy temps mean for Iguanas in Florida?

It means they’re falling from the sky, literally.

Well, not literally from the sky but from the trees. According toThe New York Times, the little creatures get stunned by how cold it is.

At night, they crawl up into the trees to get cozy but then end up getting so cold, they freeze up a little and fall out! However, Frank Cerabino of the Palm Beach Post says “Even if they look dead as a doornail - they’re gray and stiff - as soon as it starts to heat up and they get hit by the sun rays, it’s this rejuvenation.”

So, it sounds like they make it through the low temps. Because it is possible for the Iguanas to thaw out and live, NPR had a few suggestions on what to do if you encounter a frozen iguana in your yard. Cerabino did mention, though, that if they start to turn brown or black, they’ve most likely not made it but as for the one in his yard, it lived!

This British Grocery Store Employee Regularly Gets Mobbed by Fans Who Think He's Ed Sheeran

Wesley Byrne from Manchester, U.K. is probably the only grocery store employee who fully expects to be mobbed by fans when he goes in for a shift at work — and that would be because the guy looks scarily like Ed Sheeran and regularly gets mistaken for him pretty much anywhere he goes.

On Tuesday, Byrne appeared on British talk show This Morning to talk about his experience as Ed Sheeran's doppelganger. Spoiler: it's not easy. According to Byrne, he actually gets in trouble with his boss due to the amount of fans that approach him for selfies and autographs at work.

"I’ve been told to stop taking selfies at work because people are coming up to me while I’m working," he told the show's hosts.

It gets worse too — especially since the release of Ed's "Perfect" duet with Beyoncé, Byrne says he now can't even have a night out without fans demanding he sing something for them.

"It started when I was on a night out and this random guy was adamant that I was him," he later added. "He asked me to sing something and I had to show him my passport to prove I wasn't him."

In his defense we don't really see why fans think they'd run into Ed working in the aisles of British grocery chain Asda, but then again, we can't really blame them considering there's no way this guy *isn't* Ed's twin separated at birth. The haircut, the glasses, the face shape — I mean LOOK AT HIM.

No word on how Byrne's singing chops stack up to Ed's, but maybe there's some way for him to quit his grocery store job and become a full-time Ed Sheeran impersonator?

Months After Being Pardoned By Trump, Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio Announces Bid for Arizona Senate Seat

Former Maricopa County sheriff Joe Arpaio announced today that he is running for the Senate seat left by Sen. Jeff Flake, who chose not to seek reelection in 2018.

“I have a lot to offer. I’m a big supporter of President Trump,” Arpaio told the Washington Examiner when announcing his candidacy.

"I'm going to have to work hard; you don't take anything for granted. But I would not being doing this if I thought that I could not win. I'm not here to get my name in the paper, I get that every day, anyway."

After 24 years in office as sheriff, Arpaio was defeated in 2016. Last year he was convicted of criminal contempt for defying a court order to stop racially profiling Latino people in his county, according to AZcentral. He reportedly ignored the order and continued to racially profile and single out inmates he suspected of being undocumented. Controversially, he was pardoned by Trump in August before serving any jail time.

Arpaio is expected to run against Republican Representative Martha McSally, as CNN notes, who has been teasing a “special announcement” on Friday. Rounding out the race is Kelli Ward, a conservative state senator who won 40 percent of the vote in the 2016 primary against John McCain. Ward has been funded by the GOP mega-donor Mercer family, as a well as Steve Bannon, though she has distanced herself from Bannon following the controversy surrounding him.

Arpaio is an incredibly controversial figure to be running and may be an opportunity for Arizona Democrats to take the Senate race, requiring a large Latino turnout to oppose him. Arizona Democrats have opposed Arpaio for many years, and his decision to run, as well as his pardon by Trump, will surly help them to spring into fundraising efforts.

A Baltimore Substitute Teacher Was Fired After Students Discovered His Secret White Supremacist Identity Online

Gregory Conte was fired from his positions as substitute teacher and field hockey coach at Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, MD, after his ties to white supremacy groups were discovered.

Several students at the all-girls Catholic high school discovered on social media that Conte had been using an alternate identity with his work for the hate groups. Using the alias "Gregory Ritter" on Twitter, Conte proved himself to be a trash human being, tweeting out things like “Hitler did not commit any crime.” They also found footage of him at the infamous and hateful Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA.

Conte spoke to Fox 5 DC regarding his firing. “I don’t regret it,” he said. “I obviously liked working at the school and I miss everybody, but I understand the political situation and I expected them to act as they did.”

Conte is currently the director of operations at the National Policy Institute, Richard Spencer’s “think tank,” and he is not hiding in the face of all the press he is receiving, now using his real name. He's also continued to spout white nationalist talking points: “Diversity leads to social problems, it leads to conflict, it leads to war," he told WJLA-TV.

School President and CEO Kathleen Ryan Prebble sent home a letter to parents on Thursday explaining the situation and the school’s course of action, according to Buzzfeed: “Prior to his firing, he was successfully using an alternate identity in his work with his atrocious group. As for his potential impact on our girls, I conducted an investigation at the time of his firing and determined there was no reason to think that he negatively influence any of our girls with his philosophy.”

Ivanka Trump Posted A #TimesUp Tweet & The Internet Was Having None Of It

Oprah’s speech at the Golden Globes on Sunday made the whole Internet explode into a frenzy that ranged from simply praising her amazing speech to calling for her to run for president in 2020. Two days later, the buzz hasn’t subsided, but some of it has taken on a different tone. Ivanka Trump joined in on the choruses of praise by tweeting, but her words weren’t received well by the rest of Twitter.

She called Oprah’s speech “empowering and inspiring” in the tweet and urged that people come together to say “#TimesUp.”

Her words generated almost immediate backlash from the rest of the Twittersphere. A great deal of it came from women in Hollywood, who created the #TimesUp movement in order to continue to draw attention to and combat sexual harassment in show business and other fields. Most of the backlash was directed at the behavior of her father, President Donald Trump, and how her behavior was "complicit" in his actions.

More than a dozen women have accused President Trump of sexual assault, harassment, or misconduct.

While her tweet was probably written with good intentions, it’s tone-deaf (at best) and leaves a sour taste in the mouths of many.

Someone Found A Way To Make Edible Tide Pods Because The Temptation Was Way Too Strong

One of the first memes of 2018 could have been anything, anything at all. But, as it turns out, the temptation of the Tide laundry pods from December was just too strong to let fade away.

People are still joking about eating Tide pods, so one intrepid Tumblr user created a recipe for edible Tide pods.

The recipe is basically molding a bunch of pieces of jello together so that they resemble what the Internet has inexplicably dubbed the “ultimate forbidden snack.” It starts with a tray of plain gelatin poured thinly, either unflavored or flavored with vanilla or a clear soda like Sprite. The blue and orange swirls - if that happens to be your laundry pod type of choice - should be created with berry blue and orange flavored jello, respectively. The white layer is a mixture of gelatin and sweetened, condensed milk, also potentially flavored with either a clear soda or vanilla extract. The pieces are then all molded and melted together and set into the fridge to harden.

Tide pods have been an on-again, off-again item on the meme scene for the past several years. However, this is the first time so many people have been joking about them being a desirable snack. The pods are now even more infamous than they were when it was first discovered toddlers and elderly people with dementia might eat them, and in fact have eaten them and suffered serious health complications or even died.

So, if you feel you really, truly must reach for the colorful, admittedly somewhat fruit snack-esque Tide pods, make sure they’re the ones that are made from that recipe. Not the real ones that could, you know, kill you.
