1. Eat breakfast

If you know me, this is an obvious one! I NEVER skip breakfast, but for a good reason! Breakfast helps start your metabolism and gives you energy and proper nutrition to focus throughout the day. I have found that if I don’t eat breakfast, I usually make bad eating habits throughout the day (especially at night... hello sweet tooth!). Starting your day off with a healthy and nutritious breakfast is essential!

2. Drinks lots of water

The Water Question. People are always curious as to how much water they need in a day. I love to live by this rule of thumb: drink more water than you think you should. I like to start off my day drinking roughly 30 ml of water before I leave my house. Then, I try to down at least two and a half of those 30 ml bottles while I’m at work, and then 30 ml more when I get home. Now, this is like perfect-world scenario… I don’t always achieve this. But, it is a great goal for me to have! Key: keep a water bottle with you at all times!

3. Walk often

I like to walk. There is something about it that is so calming and you just feel so… fit! Try to get as many steps in as you can a day. I like to park farther away from buildings, walk around the school [where I work] if I have been sitting a while, or just go on a walk with my sister. This does not count as my workout for the day; however, it is a great way to keep the burn even after your a.m. workout! Sometimes you don’t realize how sedentary you are until you consciously try to get more steps in.

As a diehard Pretty Little Liars fan, I’m really sad that the series is coming to an end. Honestly, I thought we would find out who A is in 50 years and the ladies of PLL would be the next Golden Girls with a twist. Though it's coming to an end, we can still have a Netflix party and rewatch the whole thing, amirite? Speaking of looking back, remember that time Mona went nuts and the writers revealed she was A? We should’ve called it! I mean have you seen her wardrobe? Behold some of her craziest looks.

1. 'Loser' Mona

I know you’re scared.

2. Polka dots & snot green

This outfit is probably why she looks so sad.

3. Shoulder pads & floral pants

THIS IS TOO MUCH!

4. Bejeweled sweater, patterned jeans & pink wedges

WTF?!

5. Whatever this is

Um... gorgeous?

6. Blue dress

Okay this would be cute if it wasn't for that inbuilt bandana/triangle thing.

7. Tacky gold

Does this remind you of Jersey Shore?

8. Black & red skirt

Cute... I guess.

9. Halloween

My favorite!

Lea Michele Wrote a New Song About Cory Monteith, & It Will Definitely Give You the Feels

It’s time to start the countdown to the release of Lea Michele’s new album Places. Dropping on April 28, Refinery29 reports the album will include a new song about Cory Monteith. Entitled “Hey You,” the song is expected to be much different than its 2014 sister track “If You Say So.”

Before you break out the tissues and ice cream, there’s an important fact you should know: “Hey You” will have a completely different tone. It’s been four years since her boyfriend’s passing, and Michele channeled that time into this new song.

In an interview with PrideSource, Lea discussed the meaning behind the track. “It wasn't about loss, it wasn't about sadness. It was really about joy and love. I love it so much, and I really feel it represents who I am and everything that I've been through in my life.”

While writing Places, Michele also drew inspiration from an art book Stevie Nicks gifted her after Monteith's death. Inside the cover, Nicks inscribed a beautiful note that read, “The only thing that matters is you, and who you are.”

Taking the advice to heart, Lea built the album around herself. Her goal was to be as open as possible, even if that meant writing about difficult topics. She told PrideSource, “[Cory’s death] is sort of a sensitive subject for me that’s hard to talk about, and I didn’t want anything on the record that I couldn’t talk about.”

We're glad she found the strength to include this new song about Cory, and we can't wait to hear it. Get ready to have all the feels.

A 'Dreamer' Who Says He Was Secretly Deported Is Suing the Government

Trump's America seems to be full of fake news—but most of it comes from him. For the first time since the inception of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, a recipent, or dreamer, was deported to back to his country of origin. A lawsuit was filed Tuesday on his behalf is disputing his deportation, according to The Washington Post

Juan Manuel Montes, 23, was coming back from visiting his girlfriend on the evening of Feb. 17 when he was allegedly stopped by California’s Border Patrol. He says he was asked for his ID, which displayed his dreamer status, but he realized he had left it in his friend’s car. He was subsequently detained by Border Patrol and deported to Mexico, all within a three-hour time frame, according to his lawyers.

The lawsuit alleges that agents didn't allow Montes to get his documents or even see a judge to dispute his deportation. On Feb. 19, Montes was caught trying to re-enter the country but was deported immediately afterward. Montes, who was brought to the United States at the age of 9, was first granted dreamer status in 2014 and had renewed it until 2018, according to his lawyers, NBC reports. But the Department of Homeland Security told BuzzFeed News that Montes lost his dreamer protection when he tried to illegally enter the U.S. from Mexico on Feb. 19—and they say he left the U.S. to go to Mexico of his own volition, not because he was deported. Montes' lawyers have tried to request information from the government about his deportation, but they have not been successful.

The deportation has garnered criticism from both parties. California Representative Nancy Pelosi released a statement Tuesday regarding the matter. In it, she called Montes’ deportation "another promise cruelly broken by President Trump," and rebuked the action as both a shame and a disgrace. Republican Senator Susan Collins of Maine called the accusation troubling and contradictory.

The DACA program helps immigrant children who were brought to the United States illegally by their parents. It was implemented in 2012 by President Barack Obama. The program doesn't provide status legal status or a path to citizenship, but it does decrease the dreamers' chances of deportation.

While the DACA program is still intact, many fear it no longer provides the protection it once did now that Trump is president. Two dreamers were just recently released after spending weeks in ICE custody, according to NPR.

It is unclear at this time when proceedings will begin in this matter.

This Woman is Celebrating Her Med School Graduation By Marrying Her Diploma

Angie Hamouie, current med school student in Houston, plans to celebrate the end of med school in the form of a “Graduwedding” in May, according to Cosmopolitan. Apparently, when you simply must up the party ante, you should combine two events in one!

There are big plans in the works. “We will have a first dance and sit together at the front of the room. I also plan to feed it cake. After all the dancing, I'll toss a bouquet. But the person who catches it won't be next to get married, they'll be next to graduate!” Hamouie told Cosmo of the planned festivities. She even bought a wedding gown of sorts and made a website for the event (complete with an extensive wedding photoshoot collection)!

“As for the party, expect to dance your heart out, and when the venue closes, expect to keep on dancing to the after party,” the event’s website says. “There will be speeches, a delicious dinner, a traditional Graduwedding cake, and a specially designed Snapchat filter to savor the memories!”

In place of a registry of gifts, Hamouie has requested that wedding presents be in the form of donations to Developments in Literacy and Global Glimpse, two organizations devoted to the education and empowerment of children. Honestly, Hamouie sounds really great and I’d like to be friends with her.

After their nuptials, Hamouie and her degree are taking their talents to DC, where she’ll start at her top-choice program at Georgetown University. Her specialty is Obstetrics & Gynecology.

We all know the horror stories of med school, so a mega celebration seems in order. Here’s to Hamouie and her degree—may they have lifelong happiness!

People Are Dying Their Hair to Look Like the Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino, & The Results Are Magical

It's starting to become obvious that we all just can't get enough of Starbucks' new Unicorn Frappuccino—its insanely sweet and sour swirls of pink and purple just make for the best Instagram posts! Well, the trend is moving past the Starbucks cups and onto people's hair, as hair stylists around the world start to create colorful, unicorn-worthy masterpieces on their clients. It's truly a magical thing, and would arguably make a much better post for the 'gram.

St. Louis-based hairstylist Caitlin Ford gave her client this dreamy look using Lime Crime's latest unicorn hair dye, and the after photo she posted on Instagram is everything I've been dreaming about!

Unicorn Frappuccino I had so much fun creating this look inspired by the @starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino using @limecrimemakeup Unicorn Hair color and @brazilianbondbuilder . The best part about this look is that the hair color version is vegan, sugar free, and calorie free. A different stylist from Canada also transformed her client's hair into Starbucks' latest frappuccino craze. The results are literally mind-blowing.

As great as these colorful looks are, I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to changing up my hair color in such a drastic (yet magical) way. I guess I'll just have to stick to ordering the Unicorn Frappuccino to spice up my Instagram feed.

This Explains Why 'Pretty Little Liars' Rarely Makes Sense

$

If anyone knows what it's like to suffer through intense cliffhangers, be shocked by constant plot twists and confused beyond utter belief, it's definitely the PLL fandom. For the past six-and-a-half seasons, we've lived through every scheme, scandal and steamy hookup involving our girls Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Emily and Alison and have noticed quite a few plot holes along the way. Although it's rare that we actually get the answers we're looking for, an oral history of Pretty Little Liars published by Cosmopolitan may finally give us an answer to why the show rarely makes any sense.

In the oral history, the cast and crew hilariously pointed out a few of the ridiculous plot lines and elements of the show that just don't make any damn sense. Costume designer Mandi Line mentioned the unrealistic daily schedules of the supposed high-schoolers along with the Liars' lack of dress code.

"They never go to class. They always have coffee dates and breakfast. I’d be like, 'Marlene, did they go to school?' 'Not yet!' 'What time is it?' '1 p.m.!' The absurdity trickles into every department. If someone said about Aria, 'That skirt is a little short,' I would say, 'She sleeps with her English teacher.'"

Speaking of Mr. Fitz, Ian Harding basically said what we're all thinking. "I love the fact that they're supposed to be like, 'We’re so exhausted; we’re being hunted and harassed, and are vaguely suspicious of the cops due to one thing that happened in the second season... so we're never going to go to them.'” Raise your hand if you're confused!

However, not everything in the world of PLL is supposed to make sense, according to production designer Jakub Durkoth. "I created a little box that hung on the wall in the art department. If you asked a logic question, you had to put a dollar in it,” Durkoth explained.

Yup, it seems as if the answer is as simple and insanely complex as that. It appears that we're meant to accept the fact that not everything in the show is going to make sense, and you should go with the flow unless you wanna pay up. Logic has no home in Rosewood!

How These Disney Princesses Made Me the Woman I Am

By Sabrina Mongiello

The opinions expressed in this article are the author's own and do not reflect the views of Her Campus.

The age-old debate–are Disney princesses oppressed damsels in distress? Or are they kickass, gender stereotype-breaking role models? The original princesses may have followed more of the former model, though they had their moments. But in recent years, since the Disney “renaissance” of the 1980s, Disney princesses and leading ladies have been following the latter model. They don’t take no for an answer. They fight for what they want. They bridge gaps between groups of people in ways that are considered “taboo” in the context of their films. Most of all, they’re the women who made me the woman I am today. Here’s the breakdown of some of the newer princesses and their inspiring moments:

Pocahontas

My ultimate fave. Every breath she takes is basically inspiring, but let’s break this down. First, she isn’t down to marry Kocoum just because he’s the best warrior and her father told her to do it. She’s got her standards, and he doesn’t meet them. He’s a little close-minded, he’s not very fun, and as she says, his smile isn't exactly his best feature.

Whatever her reasons are, she knows she won’t be happy with him, and she holds her ground. Sorry, dad.

Instead, she meets John Smith, and stays open-minded even when her whole community judged him and his people.

I mean, fair enough. Let’s be real; this quote basically sums up all of world history. But there is something to be said for an open mind, which Pocahontas definitely has, and which prompts "Colors of the Wind." That song is Pocahontas basically telling John Smith, “you don’t know as much as you think you do, dude.”

She then stops her dad from straight-up murdering him and convinces all her people and John Smith’s people to talk it out and, you know, NOT kill each other. (If only history had really gone this way, right? Sigh.)

Mulan

Mulan is the literal definition of “I’m a strong independent woman who doesn’t need a man.” Yeah, she gets one as a bonus, but she prioritizes saving China, which, like, yeah, good choice girl.

The movie starts as she tries to do what her parents expect of her. She wants to be a good daughter, and the pressure she feels to be perfect leads to this tragic moment:

Man is she gonna be embarrassed when she realizes how wrong she is.

Mulan knows at this moment that she’s not meant to be a docile homemaker. She has a whole song where she perfectly removes makeup with one swipe of a sleeve, and asks when she’ll look and act on the outside like she feels on the inside? In all seriousness, for a little girl, being told that it’s okay to not know who you are is incredible. She doesn’t magically have an answer at the end of the song, she still doesn’t know exactly how she’ll find herself. As a little girl watching that, I was amazed to see a real struggle being depicted without a quick and easy solution being offered right after.

Following this moment of self-reflection, Mulan proceeds to cut her hair (which in ancient Asian culture symbolized being banished or rejected from the home), pretends to be a boy to spare her father from having to fight in a war he will most likely die in, gets discovered, gets abandoned in the snow, proves herself as a hero despite gender barriers, then literally saves the entirety of China from the Huns.

Then Shang hits her with this winner:

To which the emperor reminds him:

Seriously. She just saved all of China. Step up your game, Shang.

Moana

The newest of our Disney ladies, she makes it clear that she’s the daughter of a chief, NOT a princess. She lives on an island full of people afraid of the sea–yet that’s what she’s drawn to most. Like Mulan, she tries to be the person her family tells her she should be. She tries to settle and learn to be a leader for her people and forget about her desire to explore the sea.

Only when her people are endangered by fish and crops suddenly dying does she “betray” her father and venture out into the unknown alone. She takes it upon herself–for the good of her people, not for her own desire to explore–to take the risk of leaving the safety of her island. She braves winds and waves and rain and storms–just to help her people.

She’s not leaving it to the men, or even her father, the current chief. She makes her own choice to save her people. Her bravery is the only thing that restores safety to her people and leads them to be bold and become voyagers like their ancestors.

Legend.

Other Iconic Disney Ladies

  • Megara, from Hercules, for this line:
  • Tiana, for stopping at nothing to reach her dream (even working non-stop and kissing a literal frog)
  • Merida, for the greatest clap-back to unwanted male attention in the world:
  • Jasmine, for using Jafar’s creepy lust for her to trick him:
  • Esmeralda, for standing up for the oppressed:
  • Belle, for knowing she wants more out of life and really never holding back her feelings about King of the misogynists, Gaston:

Anyone who says these ladies aren’t role models couldn’t be more wrong.

The New American Airlines Uniforms May Be Making Flight Attendants Sick

American Airlines flight attendant Beth Henry told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that since the company's new gray uniform was introduced last year, her eyes have been itchy, and her throat swells when she is on an AA plane—and she is not the only one. According to Cosmopolitan, 4,600 (!!) employees have complained about the side effects seemingly caused by the uniforms, ranging from migraines to hives, as well as other allergic reactions. Although the airline has ordered replacements, Henry feels that American Airlines is not protecting her and other flight attendants. "The only thing that will make us safe is if there is a total recall," she said.

The company issued a statement saying, "All the scientific evidence we have available to us tells us these uniforms are safe for wear," but reports by thousands of AA employees paint a different picture. It's hard to believe that the symptoms experienced by thousands of attendants is a mere coincidence.

"We have 75,000 people who like this uniform," said airline CEO Doug Parker at an employee meeting. "So that's not the answer. We know that. But also the answer can't just be deal with it. This is a real issue for a large number of flight attendants. We will keep working through it." Here's to hoping American gets to the bottom of this issue, and issues a total recall if the uniforms are in fact proven to be the culprit.

7 Things to Consider When Making a Career Change

$

Choosing a career is a huge decision. Deciding to change industries is an even bigger one. You might be thinking: Do I have to go back to school? Will I have to start over completely with an internship? Is having a strong passion enough to qualify me for work in another field? Stop panicking! Much like switching majors in college, changing careers is a difficult process, but with a little hard work and confidence, it can lead you to your dream job.

We spoke to Emily Miethner, founder of FindSpark, a community of young creative professionals focused on career success, to get the scoop on career transitions. Her main advice? If you know how to talk about your professional story and you know a lot about the industry you want to get into, you can change careers successfully. So get started with these tips as your guide to a new professional you.

1. Be confident in your professional story

Own your past experiences and be proud of them. But at the same time, don’t waste an interview by talking about irrelevant experiences. “I don't think people realize how much control they have over their personal branding,” advises Miethner. “Take ownership over what you've done in the past.” Downplay internships that aren’t relevant, even if you did them for the longest amount of time. Focus on skills the employer wants to hear, even if that means only talking about your involvement in a club.

Take Tiffany Chiao, who holds an entertainment marketing position at HBO. A 2013 graduate from Rutgers University with a Master’s degree in Education, Chiao created a Twitter page for a just-starting-out band that grew to over a thousand followers—her advantage when applying to music jobs.

“I was always hesitant to apply to jobs that required X amount of experience, and I had little experience in entertainment marketing/PR,” says Chiao. “But one of the reps [I met at an event] told me that as long as I could spin my skills on my resume to fit the job description, then I should not let that stop me.” The bottom line is that what you’ve done at your jobs, and what you’ve gotten out of you experiences, is more important than the titles on your resume.

Related: 6 Experiences You NEED to Mention When Applying for Any Job

2. Perfect your pitch

Believing you have the ability to make a career change is half the battle. Building your confidence and being willing to step out of your comfort zone are major, necessary factors in creating a strong professional persona.

“You need to be able to practice talking about yourself, sharing your story and practicing your pitch,” says Miethner. “You'll never get better if you don't practice.”

Practical tip: Start with your LinkedIn page. Do you have a summary? Write one that explains your skills and what you can bring to a job. Showcase what you can do and why you are the person to do it.

3. Really do your research

Understanding the industry you want to get into and the people who make it tick is key.

“It’s important to understand if it’s right for you,” says Miethner. “It’s incredibly important to do your research.”

Don’t just look for opportunities on job boards. Read company websites, learn about the lives of successful people in the field and talk to everyone you know about your career change.

“I reached out to many different people, any connections that I had to the entertainment world, for jobs and resume advice,” says Chiao. “[The] key is to never burn bridges. Always follow up and check in with previous employers or coworkers or friends. You never know what doors they can open for you.”

Tom Dezell, career advisor and author of Networking for the Novice, Nervous, or Naive Job Seeker, agrees. “We tend to idealize what we want out of our career and, unless we speak to enough people who perform that work, we don’t get a true picture of what one actually does on a day-to-day basis.”

4. Network, network, network

You’ve heard it a million times, but networking really does make a difference.

Gillian Kane, a 2010 graduate from the University of Delaware with a finance degree, wanted to break out of her billing job and get into something with social media or movie-making.

“I went to multiple events that focused on networking and how to get your name out there and it was all really helpful… I am not a very extroverted person but I did gain some insight in how to make connections,” says Kane. “Always try something new… networking really pushed me out of my comfort zone.”

Tip: Network even when you are working where you want. As a temp at HBO, Chiao spoke to people in various departments and discovered new interests she had while getting the inside scoop on what really goes on behind the scenes. In a casual conversation you can ask people what they really like about their job. Who knows; you may discover a field you like even more.

5. You’ll have to put in some “side hustle”

Figuring out the skills you lack and then putting in the work to gain some experience is what Miethner calls a "side hustle." Take a college class to get a feel for the field, freelance or take on a small project that lets you dip your toes into that industry. Even volunteering can be a great way to get some sort of experience and reassurance that this is the right decision for you.

“You will have to work much, much harder than people who have had internships and experience in the field,” says Miethner. “But you can articulate how your past skills will be transferable to this new industry.”

The easiest thing you can do to jumpstart your career change? Use social media to gain insights into companies and make connections. Make your mindless scrolling more productive by following the companies and people you want to work for to get a better sense of the office culture.

6. You have something to fall back on

If all else fails, you do already have a career. Maybe the company you’re at just isn’t right for you.

“Some valid reasons to pursue a new career can be that the work you have chosen doesn’t inspire you the way you felt it would. Perhaps the future demand in your field will decline. Maybe you now realize that the salary scale in your occupation won’t support the lifestyle you want,” says Dezell. “Honestly analyze why you want to make a change.  Make sure it’s actually the nature of the field/work that you want to move from.”

Kane, for example, didn’t end up switching careers in the end; she’s still in billing. Instead, she switched companies and is now employed at WeWork. “I am happy with my new job. WeWork is a great company and I'd like to see how much more the company can grow firsthand,” she says.

You may feel like you’re running out of time to find a job you truly love, but don’t worry too much.

“The time to switch careers, or explore different options is now. We are not tied down to a family or children. We have time to find what we want to do. If it doesn't work out, it is never too late to go back to what you got your degree in,” says Chiao.

7. Know that it’s not easy, but you’re not alone

Changing careers is a commitment. Deciding to make the transition is hard enough and going through the lengthy process can feel never-ending and hopeless.

“With my skills and experience in finance, I thought I could figure out a way in to making movies or television somehow, but it turned out to be pretty difficult,” admits Kane.

Sometimes, taking comfort in the fact that other people are going through the same thing will get you to your goal.

“I felt boxed in,” says Chiao about her first job as a teacher. “All I could think about was how young I was and how I already felt stuck… I wanted to meet new people and work with people around my age.”

And now she’s been at her job with HBO for a little over a year. “My friend said to me, ‘You are only person I know who is actually happy to go to work every day,’” says Chiao. “I have a great boss and team who have supported me since day one. I love the culture at my job—I've joined the softball team and triathalon training team… I'm living my dream at my dream job and couldn't be happier.”

Remember: don't lose hope. Taking on the stress that comes with making a major life change is not easy. Be proud of yourself for even trying to go through a career transition, no matter the outcome.

The Judge Trump Called Biased Because of His Mexican Heritage Will Hear an Upcoming Deportation Case

Judge Gonzalo Curiel will preside in the case of Juan Manuel Montes Bojorquez, a 23-year-old man who is currently involved in proceedings surrounding his immigration status, according to CNN. Judge Curiel came to prominence in the news last summer, when he was the judge involved in a case against Trump University.

During that case, Trump claimed that Judge Curiel could not be an objective figure because he is “Hispanic” and “Mexican” and Trump himself at the time was claiming that he would build a wall on the border between the U.S. and Mexico if elected. “He’s a Mexican. We’re building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings—rulings that people can’t even believe,” said Trump, according to The Huffington Post.

In a later statement on the situation, Trump “claimed that he was ‘justified,’ but that his words had been ‘misconstrued’” according to NPR. Unsurprisingly, Trump was reluctant to publicly admit his racism at that point in his campaign.

Judge Curiel was born in Indiana and has Mexican heritage, and was at one point the target of an assassination plot by a Mexican drug cartel when he was a federal prosecutor in California in the 90s.

As for the upcoming case, Montes Bojorquez recently announced he would be suing the Trump administration for failing to provide information about his arrest in February of this year under the Freedom of Information Act. He was arrested for apparently not complying with the terms of his immigration status.

Government and immigration officials claim that Montes Bojorquez was never detained or deported at all, while his attorneys defend that he was in fact detained and that he was detained "without due process," hence the Freedom of Information Act suit.

Trump has yet to comment on the case of Montes Bojorquez or Judge Curiel’s role, but he did tweet this the day that the lawsuit was announced, and I’m not sure it’s a coincidence, considering Trump’s discourse on race has been racially inflammatory from the start.

According to CNN, “The White House did not immediately respond to an inquiry about whether the President feels Curiel will be a fair judge in the matter.”

Uh, It Looks Like Zara Made a Pepe the Frog Skirt

From allegedly stealing designs to stitching rodents into their clothing, Zara has been infamous for its many blunders. This time, the company is selling a denim skirt featuring a patch that looks suspiciously like the popular meme Pepe the Frog. The ubuqituous figure was originally created as a comic book by artist Matt Furie and its purpose was entirely innocent. Since then, however, this meme has been officially declared as a hate symbol by the Anti-Defamation League after it became popular among hate groups like those that identify with the alt-right and anti-Semitic movements, according to the Los Angeles Times. Especially after the recent national election, Pepe has become increasingly popular among Trump supporters to make jabs at non-supporters.

It is unclear whether Zara was aware of the implications of this image, but even if they weren't, the company is one of the largest international clothing brands, valued at above $10 billion, and you'd expect a little more from them. As Vogue mentions, "The designer of the skirt is Mario de Santiago. Mario explores social interactions through his work and in his own words: 'The idea came from a wall painting I drew with friends four years ago.' There is absolutely no link to the suggested theme." Either way, it looks like Zara has taken notice of their customers' complaints and has removed the product from the website.

This Proves Cara Delevingne's Body Was Digitally Slimmed in 'Suicide Squad'

Cara Delevingne turned from supermodel to supervillian in Suicide Squad, but that's not the only transformation she underwent. A trending GIF of the film's intense special effects proves that it wasn't just her outfit being digitized. Turns out the queen of self-love and (hello?) absolutely stunning model's figure was morphed to appear slimmer

A YouTube video published on Monday breaks down the film's special effects. Viewers realized something was off when Delevingne digitally evolved into her character.

Even though Delevingne has rocked the runway more times than we can count, apparently her body was still not considered movie-screen perfect. Any body-altering edit was completely unnecessary because, may we just say, she slayed as the Enchantress like she always does.

Who exactly thought it was okay to do this?

Attorney General Sessions Calls Hawaii 'Island in the Pacific,' Hawaiian Senators Fire Back

On Tuesday evening, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said during an interview on “The Mark Levin Show” that he was “amazed” that a single judge from “an island in the Pacific” — meaning Hawaii — could block President Trump’s travel ban, CNN reports.

According to NPR, Sessions’ comments come only a month after federal judge from Hawaii, Derrick Watson, blocked Trump’s new and revised travel ban.

“We've got cases moving in the very, very liberal Ninth Circuit, who, they've been hostile to the order. We won a case in Virginia recently that was a nicely-written order that just demolished, I thought, all the arguments that some of the other people have been making. We are confident that the President will prevail on appeal and particularly in the Supreme Court, if not the Ninth Circuit. So this is a huge matter,” Sessions said during his interview. “I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the President of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and Constitutional power.”

According to CNN, the Justice Department “tried to clarify” Sessions’ comments on Thursday. Ian D. Prior, spokesperson for the Justice Department, said, “Hawaii is, in fact, an island in the Pacific — a beautiful one where the Attorney General's granddaughter was born. The point, however, is that there is a problem when a flawed opinion by a single judge can block the President's lawful exercise of authority to keep the entire country safe.”

However, Sessions’ remarks received backlash from Hawaii’s senators and attorney general.

Senator Mazie Hirono, according to CNN, called Sessions’ comment “ignorant and dangerous,” while Senator Brian Schatz told Sessions to “have some respect.”

Hawaii’s attorney general, Doug Chin, also criticized Sessions, saying, “President Trump previously called a federal judge in California a so-called judge. Now U.S. Attorney General Sessions appears to dismiss a federal judge in Hawaii as just a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific. Our Constitution created a separation of powers in the United States for a reason. Our federal courts, established under article III of the Constitution, are co-equal partners with Congress and the President. It is disappointing AG Sessions does not acknowledge that,” NPR reports.

Sessions addressed his critics on Friday morning on CNN. “I wasn't criticizing the judge or the island. I think it's a fabulous place. But I gotta tell you, it is a point worth making — that a single sitting district judge out of 600, 700 district judges can issue an order stopping a presidential executive order that I believe is fully constitutional, designed to protect the United States of America from terrorist attack,” Sessions said.

An Italian Court Just Ruled That Cell Phones Can Give You a Brain Tumor

We've long heard the rumor that radiation from cell phones can give you brain cancer, but an Italian court just ruled in favor of that idea, saying that improper use of a company-issued cell phone caused an executive to develop a benign brain tumor.

The Telecom Italia employee, Roberto Romeo, said that his work obligations led him to use the cell phone for three to four hours a day for 15 years, according to a report by Agence France-Press. Romeo sued the state social security agency, not Telecom Italia, where he is still currently employed.

“I started to have the feeling of my right ear being blocked all the time, and the tumor was diagnosed in 2010,” Romeo said. “Happily, it was benign, but I can no longer hear anything because they had to remove my acoustic nerve.”

The New York Daily News reports the court ruled in Romeo’s favor and as a result, Romeo will receive between 6,000 and 7,000 euros – or $6,000 – $7,500 – a year in state-funded pension.

This pension covers accidents in the workplace and was awarded after a medical examination concluded Romeo’s bodily function had been affected by 23 percent.

“For the first time in the world, a court has recognized a causal link between inappropriate use of a mobile phone and a brain tumor,” Stefano Bertone and Renato Ambrosio, Romeo’s lawyers, said in a statement.

This verdict is being called a "landmark" decision, but there was actually a similar case in Italy five years ago, according to Venture Beat. Guess this one just managed to get more attention.

The ruling is still subject to possible appeal, so we may be hearing more of Romeo in the near future.

The Braille Jenna Was Reading on 'Pretty Little Liars' Won't Tell You Anything About A's Endgame

The Liars are back, and so is their drama. The Season 7B premiere of Pretty Little Liars aired on Tuesday, and since then fans have been trying to find any possible clue to who A is, per usual. The end of "Playtime" showed the Liars' enemy Jenna reading a book presumably from A. People thought there was a hidden message written in Braille, since A and Jenna are likely working together on some evil plot to end the girls for good. So fans looked to the internet to decode it, naturally.

The only word Jenna left us with is "endgame," which refers to the board game the girls received in the premiere. But it could mean more. The end of the Liars? The end of A's secret identity? The end of the world?

Cosmopolitan contacted Braille instructor Rose Angelocci, PhD, to get to the bottom of it, and it turns out that the book tells us… nothing. Angelocci deciphered words such as "water vapor drop,""science" and "earth," but didn't see anything about the oh-so-mysterious endgame. Was the book just a ploy to steer A-searchers in the wrong direction?

Refinery29 found that the words aren't complete nonsense. Apparently a Reddit user uncovered an article from the journal ScienceNews, titled "Water Vapor Drop Dampens Temps." Does this article have anything to do with the Liars? Or with A? Probably not.

Bottom line: Jenna's book isn't the master clue we've been waiting for. We're just going to have to keep watching the last nine episodes to find out who A really is. And in the meantime, PLL addicts should probably stop wasting their time trying to decipher Braille.
