'The Mindy Project' Will End After Season 6—Here's Why

Soon there'll be one less doctor on our TVs: Entertainment Weekly reports that The Mindy Project's sixth season, which will premiere in September, will be the Hulu comedy’s final season. Um, can I start my mourning period now?

“It has been an honor and a joy to work with Mindy and the entire creative team behind The Mindy Project,” said Hulu’s head of content, Craig Erwich, in a statement. “This series has been part of Hulu since we launched the service and, thanks to Mindy’s incredibly unique voice and vision, has remained one of our most popular and beloved series over the past five years.”

Fans almost lost the show once before when its original network, Fox, chose to cancel it after its third season. But Hulu saved us all by deciding to adopt the show as its own. Since then, catching up on Mindy Lahiri’s dating antics and career mishaps has been one of my favorite ways to escape real life for a bit.

Mindy Kaling, the show’s star, creator and executive producer, spoke with EW about the decision to end the series next year. “I think the timing is exactly right,” she said, referring to—SPOILER—her character’s marriage as the perfect point at which to leave Mindy behind. “The final season is the final time—it’s the best time—to confront what that reality is for her…We started this series when she was single, and now she’s married and has a kid and she has a stepdaughter, and it kind of just felt like [a few] more episodes was all we needed to wind this down.”

If you aren’t crying yet, don’t worry because Mindy went straight for the heartstrings later in the interview. “I have been delighted by how much the show has made an impact on young women, particularly young minority women,” she shared. “They’ll come up to me on the subway, they come up to actors on the show, and they’ll talk about how much they feel like Mindy Lahiri or how the show is saying something that they’re thinking but are too scared to say aloud. I think that’s really great.”

Thanks for all of the laughs and inspiration, Mindy. I will watch The Mindy Project’s last season with a box of tissues nearby.

These Female Celebs Are Sexily Begging for Healthcare So Men Will Listen Up

Ladies, be honest: The status of women’s healthcare is currently quite a frustrating situation, and as much as you may love them, the guys in your life just aren’t accustomed to having so many of their own rights up in the air and probably can’t relate. Now, thanks to a new Funny Or Die PSA featuring some of men's hottest crushes, you may finally be able to catch their attention about healthcare.

Refinery29 reports that the Funny Or Die skit, “Sexy Women Beg for Healthcare,” tackles the kind of audience that probably doesn’t realize how much of a concern reproductive healthcare is becoming in today’s political climate (and tbh, likely objectifies women). Celebs like Blac Chyna, Rebecca Romijn, Nina Dobrev and Riverdale’s Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch appear in the video “sexily begging” for their health rights.

Sharing the duty of delivering lines in the video, the women say, “I’m here to remind you that while you may be super familiar with the outside of my body, my body also has an inside—including a pretty hefty amount of reproductive organs. And in order to keep those reproductive organs fully functioning, they need more motherfucking healthcare!” Um, PREACH, ladies.

Although Funny Or Die skits are usually just meant to strike up some laughs, we love that this one actually covers a pretty serious issue, especially in the last couple minutes. "When politicians talk about things like not wanting to cover contraception or prenatal care or mammograms, think about us," the lineup of women share. "Sexily begging you to keep us healthy because there's nothing sexier than being alive."

We couldn't say it better ourselves.

Facebook Launched "Stories" to Try to Stop You From Ever Using Snapchat Again

Taking a page from Snapchat, Facebook launched Stories on Tuesday. This new feature will allow people to share a sort of "digital slideshow" of photos and/or videos that will disappear after 24 hours, according to USA Today. Wow, that sounds familiar—oh wait, it's just like Snapchat.

Facebook’s Newsroom said Tuesday that “[Facebook] want[s] to make it fast, fun and easy for people to share creative photos and videos with whomever they choose, for however long they choose—and the more we share with each other, the more open and connected our community can be.”

In a social media era where photos and videos are becoming the go-to way of connecting with one another, this could get people to spend more time on the popular social media site—and even draw people away from Snapchat.

Jan Dawson, chief analyst with Jackdaw Research, told USA Today, “if Facebook gets this right...[they] could increase time spent and stickiness for its own products, while putting another dent in Snapchat’s user growth."

According to TechCrunch, there will be a camera icon in the top corner of the Facebook app, and you can take photos and even add effects.

Newsroom says that the “Facebook camera is packed with dozens of effects like masks, frames and interactive filters that you can apply to your photos and videos." It added, "Reactive effects let you interact with dynamic objects—like falling snow—and style effects apply an artistic filter to your video in real time, letting you turn your everyday selfie into a Picasso-style work of art.”

But wait—they're still not done copying Snapchat! According to TechCrunch, Facebook is also introducing Direct, which is similar to Snapchat’s direct messages feature; people will be able to reply directly to their friends' stories and share their photos and videos with their friends.

Although the News Feed will still be the main Facebook feature, according to USA Today, this photo and video sharing will definitely be playing a new role.

These Photos from the 'Pretty Little Liars' Premiere Feature a Character We've Not Seen in a While

As Pretty Little Liars fans prepare to bid farewell to the series, it appears Marlene King has a few more surprises up her sleeve. Just three weeks before the show's return, Freeform has released new photos from the spring premiere, and they include a face the Liars haven’t seen in a while.

In the first of the show’s final 10 episodes, fans will witness Aria’s reunion with her long lost friend Holden Strauss.

When we last saw Holden in Season 3, he was risking his life (and defying his parents’ wishes) to compete in Korean martial arts. Ugh, teenagers. We can only assume that he's matured since then—I mean, look at that jawline.

Aside from showing us Holden’s matured face, one photo shows Ezra greeting Aria with a kiss on the cheek as Holden stands uncomfortably by her side. Aria's one-time fake boyfriend meets her fiancé who used to be her English teacher? Talk about awkward.

Holden has a lot of catching up and even more explaining to do. Knowing that this is just the first of many throwback cameos taking place in the series' last episodes, we can't wait for “Playtime,” airing Tuesday, April 18 at 8/7c on Freeform!

This Survey Shows That Many People Leave Spring Break With Some Serious Regrets

A new survey by Project Know, an addiction education resource, suggests that high school and college students might be coming back from spring break with more than a few regrets. The website surveyed 889 former high school and college students who had traveled on spring break in the last five years. And while it’s important to keep in mind that Project Know definitely has an agenda, the results of the survey do point to a darker side of all that fun in the sun.

According to the survey, Cancun, Mexico was the favorite choice for spring break, followed by Miami Beach and Las Vegas. In general, Florida ranks as one of the most popular destinations. According to The Atlantic, this dates back to college swimmers in the 1930s looking for warm places to train. By the early 2000s, nearly 40 percent of college students were traveling for spring break—and spending almost a billion dollars in Florida and Texas alone. But that’s hardly a bump for the local economies. Unless they’re selling cheap alcohol in bulk, locals are unlikely to see much of a benefit from spring break. Mostly, it just results in a lot more arrests.

Project Know’s survey was most interested in people’s first-hand experiences while on spring break. When asked about their biggest regrets, 38 percent of respondents said alcohol consumption. Around a quarter of those surveyed said they had blacked out from too many drinks, while 10 percent admitted to operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Five percent were hospitalized and another 5 percent got into legal trouble while having a little too much fun.

The survey also highlighted the prevalence of binge drinking—as much a spring break staple as bikinis and beaches. Thirty percent of all respondents said that they had consumed eight or more drinks per day (22 percent of those under 21 and 34 percent of those who were legal to drink). According to Project Know, “depending on the amount of time elapsed between drinking, almost two-thirds of those surveyed could potentially be classified as binge drinkers.” Thirty-two percent said that they had between four and seven drinks per day.

The second biggest regret, the survey found, was sex. While the majority of respondents only had one sexual partner, a concerning 40 percent said that they did not use protection. Sixty-five percent of men surveyed had had sex with a stranger, versus 42 percent of women. For Project Know, these stats are most worrisome because of the spread of STIs, particularly given that over a quarter of new HIV infections occur in young adults between the ages of 13 and 24. And of course, huge amounts of alcohol mixed with huge amounts of sex is a recipe for sexual assault.

Eleven percent of those surveyed cited drug use as their biggest regret, with 30 percent saying that they had used some sort of drug while on spring break. For 26 percent of respondents, that drug was marijuana, which is still illegal in many spring break hot spots. The survey also found that those who traveled to South Padre Island, Texas were most likely to use drugs (48 percent), while Tampa, Florida had the highest rates of alcohol poisoning (13 percent).

With spring break season wrapping up for another year, Project Know hopes to shine a light on some of the more unsafe behaviors that are a part of the whole experience. And while many college students make it through with only great memories of times with friends, others are not so lucky. So remember to stay safe out there!

10 Things to Stop Wasting Your Time On

This article has been syndicated to Her Campus from Pearls & Twirls, an InfluenceHer Collective member. Read the full post here.

I love the internet and love the endless possibilities it provides. I’ve connected with people over the internet that I would have never connected with and I’ve found true inspiration from people that I would have never known about. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing women though blogging and I’ve followed hundreds more that I would love to meet and connect with in person. One person I’ve been inspired by since this home tour on The Glitter Guide was Tori Hendrix. I’ve seriously been obsessed with everything she does, from how she dresseshow she decorates, her amazing travels, her event planning business and even how she dresses her kids!  A true source of inspiration to me and I’ve loved getting little glimpses of this person that I’ve never met’s life on the internet.

Unfortunately sometimes these seemingly perfect people on the internet are battling something far worse than we could ever imagine. Tori was diagnosed with a terrible cancer a little over a year ago while pregnant with her second child and she passed away just this week. I’ve been obsessively checking her sister’s updates on Tori since they announced she was sick a few months ago and was so saddened by her passing. I never really intended to share any of this here but over the past few days I’ve heard great stories about great people doing great things (a local police officer and friend who raised money for a family that picked up his breakfast at the drive through) and have read other sad news (a friend I met through blogging lost his sister this week and a high school friend was recently diagnosed with lymphoma) so I just got myself inspired. Inspired about this little miraculous thing we call life that we take for granted every single day.

I’ll be the first to admit that I easily get down, annoyed, frustrated with the smallest things that really should not alter my mood as much. I get selfish sometimes and think my feelings are more important than others'. I get down about myself and think I’ll never be as good as so-and-so. And really, I just like to remind myself those things, those thoughts are just taking away your greats, your "happys" and all the wonderful things we’re given in this life.

So I’ve rounded up a few things that I know I waste way too much of my life on. Ten things I plan to stop wasting so much of my happy on!

1. Trying to Be Great at Everything

We’re all human. You’re never going to be great at everything. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be great at the things you love to be great at. You can be a great mom, a great girlfriend, wife, friend, sister, employee, business owner, blogger, Instagrammer, Facebooker, runner, healthy eater, whatever your cup of tea is or whatever you feel passionate about, go do it and be great at it! But don’t beat yourself up if you can’t be great at all those things. It’s okay if you’re not great at being both a business owner and a healthy eater…(cough cough, that one was to me).

2. Comparing Yourself to Others

This one is easily tied to #1. We think that it is possible to be great at all those things because we see other people do it. People seriously seem to have their shit together on Instagram, don’t they? Personally, I see so many people who constantly get up at 5:30 a.m. to get their workout in and get down on myself because I don’t do that. Well, reality is, I’m not a morning person. That doesn’t work for me. If you’re a morning person and a morning worker-outer, I truly salute you, because I want to be you, but me? I’ll just be here at 1:30 a.m. finishing blog posts because that’s how I work and that’s okay. So just because someone else can do it doesn’t mean you have to. You do you, boo.

3. Not Chasing Your Dreams

Y'all. I hear so many people say, “I wish I could be more like you and go after my dreams!” My response every single time? DO IT!!! Seriously. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done and the most stressful job I’ve ever had, but I can’t even describe how happy it makes me. You’ve got to be all in, though. All in. All the time. But it’s totally worth it! And if one day I decide my passion is hot air balloons and I want to start a hot air balloon business, you betta believe I’m going for it! Chase those dreams!

UPDATED: Uhh, There's Something Really Fishy About the 'Pitch Perfect 3' Sailor Costumes

UPDATE: Salvador Perez, Pitch Perfect 3 costume designer, has tweeted his response to the backlash. "I let each actor decide how their costume fit, it was their choice, Rebel, Ester & Hana Mae wanted sleeves," Perez said on Monday.

He added that actress Hana Mae also had sleeves—it just didn't show in the Instagram picture Ester Dean posted because Mae was wearing a jacket, according to Refinery29.

Perez also took this opportunity to share what he thought of the situation. "To me it is about dressing women however they look and feel great, whatever size they are," Perez tweeted. "It's about choice, confidence and style!" Agreed!

This story was originally published on March 24, 2017.

Our favorite singing collegiettes are returning as sassy a cappella singers in Pitch Perfect 3 this year. What's not so pleasing is the fact that different cast members are wearing different costumes depending on their body size.

Pitch Perfect 3 began filming in January 2017 and is winding down its filming in Atlanta. Enter: Rebel Wilson, who plays our hero Fat Amy, the hilarious mermaid dancer and horizontal running fanatic.

Wilson posted a photo on Instagram on Friday alongside her costars Brittany Snow and Chrissie Fit. What we're assuming is an on-set photo features the Barden Bella singers in red-and-white striped outfits. They're totally cute and have me wondering what songs their sailor-themed performance will include (I can already hear DNCE's "Cake by the Ocean").

But the bigger question is: why is Wilson wearing short sleeves while her costars don halter tops that show off more skin?

Sailing through the day #PitchPerfect3

Ester Dean, who plays Cynthia-Rose, also posted the same outfits on Instagram. And guess what? This plus-sized actress is also the only one in the photo with short sleeves instead of bare shoulders.

New Bella look at Averee!!!

A post shared by Ester Dean (@esterdean) on

Uhh, what are you trying to pull, Pitch Perfect? For a franchise that's all about girl power, collegiette bonding and acceptance of misfits, it's pretty insulting that the costumes are different for the larger ladies in the cast. We would have loved to see Cynthia-Rose and Fat Amy embrace their curves and wear the same sexy outfits as everyone else.

Perhaps it was a personal choice by Dean and Wilson, but it'd be pretty suspicious if the costume designers actually changed the sailor gettups to hide these actresses' arms and backs—not to mention this qualifies as active body-shaming. Talk about aca-awkward.

This Brand Had the Most Perfect Response to the United Airlines Legging Ban

After United Airlines blocked two girls from boarding their flight just because they were wearings leggings, Goldsheep Clothing clapped back with style—literally. The brand's owner, Keri Wilson, said, "I truly felt like I had to say something…..I live/work/breathe and sleep leggings and I couldn’t believe someone can say that they are not appropriate to wear. I think as the owner of GOLDSHEEP, I had to say something because 100% of the female population wears them.” Check it:

Goldsheep Clothing also tagged Delta Air Lines and Chrissy Teigen in their Instagram caption—the brand and celeb weren't scared to throw some serious shade after the United leggings controversy.

What can I say? I'm definitely ~on board~ with these leggings.

This Mermaid Gown Changes Colors & I Am Shook

One dress is redefining prom and formal goals right now. A mermaid gown from a Miami designer literally changes colors from gold to white and visa versa, because the sequins are gold on one side and white on the other.

Not only does it have a ruffled golden train that straight-up belongs in a French palace or the Beauty and the Beast set, but it also has a shimmering sequin bodice with a sexy keyhole halter top.

Imagine being out on the dance floor or snapping couple photos and deciding to change the color of your dress just by rubbing the sequins back and forth. It's so stunning and elegant and I simply need it for my next sorority formal. I wore a stunning champagne sequin Badgley Mischka dress to my high school prom, but switching between two colors of sequins (or a combo for a sort of snakeskin look) is way cool.

THE INFAMOUS GOWN BY YOURS TRULY ... thank you @theshaderoom This means so much to me . Follow me on Facebook ADONIS WEST

A post shared by A'Dore Couture Gowns inc. (@adonis_ofmiami) on

And honestly the best part about this is that the designer's sister demonstrated the dress and will wear it to her prom this year. Adonis West of A'Dore Couture Gowns Inc. let his 17-year-old sister Shirdkiya show off the gown, which is serious big brother goals.

"I was just thinking about a girl who wanted to walk in one way but come out another way," West told Seventeen. "So the reversible sequins were perfect."

Unfortunately West isn't selling the dress, and if he were, it would set you back about $800. For now I can just ogle these gorg photos, I guess.

Josh Murray Called the Police on Amanda Stanton for the Dumbest Reason

When relationships are created in the spotlight, it's rare that they go down quietly and drama-free. Josh Murray and ex-fiancée Amanda Stanton from Bachelor in Paradise are certainly no exception! Murray's personal assistant Hayley Watts confirmed withIn Touch Weekly that Murray took some extreme (and dumb) measures against Stanton on March 20—and by extreme measures we mean that he called the police to seize the Audi he bought her last October. Can someone say bogus AF?

Let's go over a quick timeline. The two met last summer on Bachelor in Paradise, where they eventually got engaged. Murray then moved in with her, and he bought her a $30,000 Audi in October. Stanton confirmed their split in Dec. 2016, and now, just three months later (and following a maybe reunion), Murray is allegedly demanding payback for the car.

“Amanda told Josh she wanted to work out the car situation when she got back from vacation,” Watts, who was present during the hour-long scene, told In Touch. “But instead of waiting any longer, he called the police the day she got home!” Not cool, bro. Not cool.

The Audi was Amanda's only car, so she was left without transportation the day she returned from vacation. Luckily, her ex-husband and the father of her two kids, Nick Buonfiglio, helped her buy a car next day. "What Josh did was horrible," Buonfiglio told In Touch.

Murray certainly handled the situation in such an immature way, and we're glad that Stanton was able to get the help she needed!

'Frozen' Almost Had An Entirely Different Ending, & We Can't Handle It

Frozen, the movie we all know and love (and the soundtrack we can all belt at the top of our lungs), was almost an entirely different film. Producer Peter Del Vecho revealed the deets on the original concept and ending of the film to Entertainment Weekly, and our minds are absolutely blown.

Initially, Anna and Elsa weren't sisters. They weren't royal. There was absolutely no sisterly bonding over building snowmen. "Elsa was a self-proclaimed Snow Queen, but she was a villain and pure evil — much more like the Hans Christian Andersen tale," Del Vecho explains in EW's Untold Stories issue. "We started out with an evil female villain and an innocent female heroine and the ending involved a big epic battle with snow monsters that Elsa had created as her army…” Say what?!

The first intention of the film was to center it around a prophecy which foretold that “a ruler with a frozen heart will bring destruction to the kingdom of Arendelle.” Viewers would then spend a majority of the film watching Elsa as an evil villain, expecting her to be the ruler described in the prophecy. In the final showdown, Elsa would release her snow monsters, and Kristoff would come to Anna's rescue.

However, in a major twist of events, it would be revealed that Hans was actually the ruler described in the prophecy, triggering an avalanche to not only stop the snow monsters but also endanger Anna, Elsa and Arendelle. In the end, Elsa would use her powers to save the kingdom and unfreeze her heart (which she physically froze after being left at the alter, ugh).

Del Vecho and the minds behind Frozen decided that this ending wasn't satisfying enough. "The problem was that we felt like we had seen it before,” Del Vecho says. "We had no emotional connection to Elsa — we didn’t care about her because she had spent the whole movie being the villain. We weren’t drawn in. The characters weren’t relatable.”

Personally, we're so glad that the minds behind Frozen went with the ending where sisterly love and sacrifice were key. It was very refreshing to see a film where the women could stand up for themselves and didn't need a man to help save them!

Lauren Jauregui Wants Those Camila Cabello Dating Rumors to Stop

Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui is not amused by those rumors about her and Camila Cabello. Last year Lauren announced that she is bisexual, which only ramped up the Camren rumors. For those who don't know, many 5H fans are ardent shippers of Camila and Lauren (aka Camren), although the two aren't actually in a relationship.

Over the weekend, Lauren took to Twitter to reply to this tweet: "This is why Lauren hates camren #LaucyPartyIsOver". She tweeted back, "No I hate it because it's invasive, scary, delusional, disrespectful to us both and was never real...Ever."

When asked for more info, Lauren added, "Because you never quite become ok with people sexualizing you and your friendships for their sick pleasure. That's why."

According to Refinery29, some fans of the (nonexistent) couple were offended by Lauren's response, but hear her out. Lauren shouldn't have to explain her private life to anyone.

You tell 'em, girl! And keep being proud of just who you are.

This New Twitter Feature Guarantees Your Favorite Shows Will Never Be Spoiled Again

You might want to start using the “mute” button for more than just people you don’t want to see on your feed. Twitter just made it easy for users to mute specific words, phrases and hashtags so you don’t see them on your timeline, making it stress-free to scroll without spoiling your fave show. Thank you, Twitter.

Finally you can browse in peace without the horrifying realization that you just read a spoiler-y tweet about the How to Get Away with Murder finale. Trust me, I’ve been there and it's heartbreaking.

The time frame for which you mute is also totally up to you. Hide those Bachelor live tweets for as long as you need. One day? For the rest of eternity? The choice is yours. And the addition is not case sensitive, so all variations of a phrase will be blocked.

This function doesn't only apply to TV shows either—you can mute *any* word, phrase or hashtag.

Though this new feature will be a saving grace for Twitter junkies, muted words won't be blocked from your searches, so be careful!

Brb, going to mute anything and everything involving Pretty Little Liars so I don't get spoiled before the premiere.

What to Do With Your Friends When They Visit Your College

$

Making new friends at school is great, but keeping in touch with those friends from home can be even better. Inviting them to visit you at your college is a great way to catch up, spend some time together and have fun. Whether your school is twenty minutes from home or three hours away, here are ten things to do with your friends when they come visit your college.

1. Take a walking tour of campus

When your friend first arrives on campus, giving him or her a walking tour is a great idea. It gives you a chance to show off your school, spend some quality time together and, depending on the season, spend some time outdoors and away from your dorm room.

“When I had my friend from Ohio come visit me in Orlando, I gave her a tour of my campus so she could get a taste of my life at UCF,” says Megan Scavo, a sophomore at the University of Central Florida.

Not only can you give your friend a taste of your life at university, it’s also a great time to tell all your crazy college stories!

2. Go out to dinner

Is there a local dive everyone in town eats at? A famous pizza place everyone on campus loves? Make sure you take your friend! “My friend really enjoyed eating at all the hotspots my college town has to offer,” Megan says. “We had a blast.”

This will be even better if you go to school in a different part of the country than where you’re from. Forget chain restaurants, take them for a taste of the local cuisine.

3. Have a meal at the (good) dining hall

Eating out is expensive, so make sure you plan at least a couple of meals at your campus’s best dining hall—it’s bound to have at least one. Take advantage of those meal swipes!

4. See the sights

Do you go to school in Florida? Take your friends to the beach nearby (just make sure you tell your friends to bring their suits). New York City? Take a ride to the top of the Empire State Building or visit Times Square. “The first thing I did was take my friend to the beach in Orlando,” says Megan.

Go see that part of town you’ve never been to before. Find a few places on Google Maps that look interesting like a park, a museum or a shopping center and go check it out! Just make sure you stay safe. If you’re a new student or you haven’t been in town for a while, campus police or upperclassmen will probably be able to tell you places to stay away from.

Is it the beginning of the semester? Here are seven fall activities that will get you and your friend off campus!

5. Attend a local sporting event

If it’s football season, taking a friend to a game is one of the best ways to let him or her experience your college’s atmosphere. “When a couple of my friends visited Iowa State, I took them to a football game,” says Chelsea Jackson, a student at the University of Iowa. “We lost terribly, but it was a great time.”

This is a great option if you’re having multiple friends with you, because it’s cheap and keeps you busy for a few hours of the afternoon. Go team!

6. Take advantage of on-campus events

On-campus events are great because they’re close by and usually free. Is there a movie showing going on? A comedian? Hypnotist? Take your friend with you! This can be a really fun way to spend the afternoon or evening without breaking the bank.

7. Go to a party

Are there any frat parties going on when your friend is going to be on campus? Figure out if there’s a theme, pick something cute to wear and have fun! Just watch out for the jungle juice.

8. Plan a night with your college friends

It might feel weird for your two words to collide, but do introduce your friend to the people that you’ve met at school. Who knows, they might hit it off and you’ll have even more fun.

9. Spend the day in

Put on your sweats, get some junk food from the local convenience store and spend the day in. Watch that movie you’ve been wanting to see, have a Netflix marathon, catch up on everything that’s been going on back home. There’s not much that is better than having a lazy day with your BFF.

10. Go on a club crawl

If you’re over 21, this can turn into a bar crawl, too, but make sure you leave your car in the driveway and catch a Lyft or an Uber instead. Take your friend to all the hot spots and have fun! Look at the bar/club schedules, too, and see if there’s live music or a karaoke night for even more fun.

And, of course, the most important thing to do is make sure you plan a weekend that both of you will enjoy. Ask your friend if there’s anything specific she wants to do and let her know what you’re planning. Have fun!

Ivanka Trump Is Now an Official Government Employee

$

It was only last week when Trump's lawyer, Jamie Gorelick, said that Ivanka Trump will have an office in the West Wing despite not being an official government employee. Along with this, Gorelick said that she would even have government-issued communications devices and have security clearance to access classified information. At the time, this caused quite a stir online and for good reason.

Now, despite Ivanka stating that she would just be an "informal advisor" to her father, the President, the New York Times reports that she will now be an official government employee. In a statement on Wednesday, Ivanka clarified saying "I have heard the concerns some have with my advising the president in my personal capacity while voluntarily complying with all ethics rules, and I will instead serve as an unpaid employee in the White House office, subject to all of the same rules as other federal employees."

If this seems a bit odd to you that the daughter of the President will be working as the official "Assistant to the President," that's because it is. And Ivanka knows that. “Throughout this process I have been working closely and in good faith with the White House counsel and my personal counsel to address the unprecedented nature of my role."

A spokesperson for the White House said that although the public obviously has some issues with this, “Ivanka’s service as an unpaid employee furthers our commitment to ethics, transparency, and compliance and affords her increased opportunities to lead initiatives driving real policy benefits for the American public that would not have been available to her previously.”

Gorelick also said that that this decision to take on Ivanka as an official employee was rooted from “her commitment to compliance with federal ethics standards and her openness to opposing points of view" and that she will “file the financial disclosure forms required of federal employees and be bound by the same ethics rules that she had planned to comply with voluntarily.”

In an interview with USA Today promoting her film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Delevingne revealed that in preparation for her next role as a dying girl in Life in a Year alongside Jaden Smith, she will do what she has never done before: shave her head. "I have to shave my head for my next part, so I have to do something different. So I dyed it. Just for fun. Just to change it up," she said while explaining her chic platinum bob.

There is no news about when this drastic change will take place but tbh, I am so ready for it. Until then, how about baby blue, Cara?

Here at Her Campus, we’re all about highlighting aspirational women who have become influential forces in the world, proving that you can do anything you set your mind to. But what about the women who are changing lives and being total #girlbosses while they’re still in college? To honor those amazing women, there’s the 22 Under 22 Most Inspiring College Women. 2017 nominations for these spots are now open, but here’s a look at what past honorees have achieved to give you an idea of who fits this accolade best!

In 2016, the 22 young women selected ranged from poets to aspiring surgeons, and fought for causes like cancer treatment and foreign literacy. On average, the entire group was around 20 years old and founded a total of 19 organizations. Is your mouth wide open in awe yet?

We're looking for 2017 honorees who demonstrate leadership, excel academically, are doing big things in an area that’s important to them, and who have ambitious goals for their future. The only way the rest of us can achieve our dreams is by knowing that it’s possible for other girls to find success too, so why not nominate yourself or a deserving friend for one of the slots?

“Attitude and patience are key,” said Julia Richardson, a 2016 honoree who aspires to complete a 10K race even with an amputated limb. “Your attitude will truly make or break everything, and it’s incredibly rare for something amazing to happen overnight. It takes hard work, dedication and staying strong through the failures.”

2016 honoree Sara Li also has a go-getter attitude for achieving personal aims. “If I had to wait for permission every time I got an idea, I’d never get anywhere,” she said. “No matter how unrealistic or bold or insane your goal is, go now.”

To nominate someone, check out the official entry form for options on how to enter or nominate a friend! What are you waiting for?

It was only yesterday when Justin Bieber was a cute little kid with not a care in the world, singing happily on YouTube. Oh, how times were simpler then. But alas, people grow up. Now, the star is off getting GIANT animal tattoos on his chest. Funny how things change.

According to E! News, the musician took a trip to celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang in New York City to get his 60th tattoo: a lion wearing a crown. Why a lion, you might ask? A source close to Bieber says that "Justin is in a great place really happy and he's always been a big fan of lions," and that "Lions represent courage." The lion is the most recent animal to be inked on him, going alongside a bald eagle and a grizzly bear.

And he is not the only one who loves this animal. The star now joins Ed Sheeran on the list of men with ginormous lion tattoos because, ya know, it's quite common.

We're college women—we're always stressed. It comes with the territory of balancing a full course load with jobs, internships, other extracurricular activities and (most importantly) our social lives. Even when we literally aren't stressed, we probably convince ourselves we should be stressed and, thus, make ourselves even more stressed. It's a vicious cycle. Ugh, life is so hard! Below are 15 memes you'll totally relate to if you're always stressed.

1. When you just don't even know

Yeah, it's like that.

2. #Mood every day

No caption necessary.

3. The emotionless stress

"I think I'm stressed about something, but I'm not even sure what it is anymore."

4. The stress meme of the century

"It's okay. It's fine. I'm fine," you tell yourself, as your world is slowly crumbling around you.

5. Don't even get us started on our summer bods

When you want a good body for summer, but you want a large pizza, milkshake and fries more.

6. Convincing yourself you honestly don't care

There's a 90 percent chance you'll be stressed again in an hour.

7. Food is the mood

Stress eating? What's that?

8. That moment your appearance starts to fall apart

"I look stressed? What do u mean?"

9. And the anger sets in

Yeah, you should probably leave us the fuck alone at this point.

10. You just have to run from your problems sometimes

There, we said it.

11. It's a part of life at this point

"Wait, there was a time when I lived free of stress?"

12. You're a pro at playing it cool

"Nah, I'm not that stressed. Why, what's up?"

13. Alcohol is the cure sometimes

Ha ha ha hahaha…

14. For all the seniors out there

@ everyone: Shhhhhhhh.

15. That moment you accept defeat and embrace the stress

At last, you've set yourself free.
