Gossip Girl may have had its season finale nearly five years ago, but that doesn't mean it has left our hearts. Honestly, this drama-packed show ruined us for all other TV, and these are 15 reasons we wish it never ended. RIP GG.

1. You miss the fashion

Jealous.

2. You don't get to see Chuck Bass every week

No explanation needed.

3. You miss Lily van der Woodsen's constant drama

Drama for the mama.

4. You want to taste all that NYC has to offer

Without actually being there.

5. You need a Dorota in your life

She was the only one who could burn Blair.

6. You hate how you will never get to see mini Chuck Bass grow up

He's so adorable!

7. You hate to admit it, but you kind of adored Georgina

At least the girl never had a dull moment.

8. You feel serious FOMO about missing out on the rest of Serena's life

Love, drama, fashion? What about me?!

9. You need a follow-up on Blair's prince ex-husband

What happened to Louis?

10. You can't let go of Chace Crawford in all his glory as Nate Archibald

How could we ever forget?

11. You still want to understand how Dan was Gossip Girl that whole time

Some things aren't adding up.

12. Wondering where Jenny went keeps you up at night

Where IS Little J?

13. You need more Eleanor Waldorf and Cyrus

Forget Chuck and Blair! This is GG's most perfect couple.

14. Five years and counting is way too long to go without Gossip Girl

Obvi.

15. You'll die if there's never a reunion special

"You know you love me."

XOXO

Washington Supreme Court Has Ruled That 'Religious Beliefs' Don't Allow for Discrimination Against Same-Sex Couples

The Washington Supreme Court handed down a ruling Thursday that religious beliefs are not an acceptable defense for the florist who refused to sell flowers for a same-sex couple’s wedding in 2013, said The New York Times. The Supreme Court for the state made a unanimous ruling on the case, but it covered much more than just a one-time sale of flowers for a wedding. It also addressed “sweeping questions about public accommodation, artistic expression and free speech.”

Arlene’s Flowers, run by Barronelle Stutzman, 72, had known Robert Ingersoll and Curt Freed for several years before they began to plan their wedding in 2013 and had sold them flowers without issue several times. Stutzman claimed her faith created a line at selling flowers for a same-sex wedding that she just wasn’t willing to cross. After considering the fact that she said she wouldn’t be necessarily endorsing the Islamic faith if she sold wedding flowers to an Islamic couple, or atheism if she sold them to an atheist couple, the court told her “flowers weren’t really the point.”

Nor was, despite her making a case for it, artistic expression. One of Stutzman’s lawyers, Kristen Waggoner, said “all creative professional expression is at risk.” She, along with Stutzman and the other lawyers defending her, claimed her floral arrangements should be considered art and protected by the First Amendment because of it. The court shot down that argument, as the statement she made by selling, or not selling, the arrangements was not art, and therefore not protected free speech.

Stutzman and her lawyers plan to appeal their case to the United States Supreme Court, but the ruling in favor of Ingersoll and Freed is still being celebrated by national LGBT+ rights groups as a victory. They see it as an additional step toward equality and creating more protections for same-sex couples.

Twitter is Totally Roasting President Trump Over This Photo

Thursday evening following his bizarre press conference, President Trump took to Twitter to post a photo of he and his 13 most dedicated Republican congress members, captioned #MakeAmericaGreatAgain, as per usual.

However, Twitter users were quick to notice the obvious lack of diversity and representation in the photo, which included 12 white males, and, drumroll, one white woman. (Following signing a bill undoing Obama's coal mining legislation, no less.) While Trump's obviously problematic vision for America can be depressing, Twitter took the photo and made it into a hilarious meme, because we could all use a laugh right now, TBH.

And then there were the downright savage responses:

Donald Trump's inability to consider the ways in which diverse perspectives might actually make America great again is disappointing (to say the least), but thank goodness for Twitter's ability to make a meme out of any of 2017's cringe-worthy political situations, am I right?

Does This Mean Taylor Swift's Music Might Be Coming Back to Spotify?

Any Taylor Swift fan with a Spotify subscription knows that Taylor infamously pulled all of her music from the streaming service back in 2014 - and our playlists have been lacking ever since because of it. Don't freak out, but there's actually a decent chance that Taylor may make her return to Spotify sometime in 2017.

ICYMI, Taylor's song "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" with Zayn Malik from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack was slyly added to Spotify's catalog at some point recently - marking the first time any of her new music has appeared on her Spotify artist profile since 2014.

Not only that, but rumors were already swirling at the end of 2016, suggesting that T-Swift might make her music available once again to Spotify subscribers. Music Week reported in November that Spotify UK's head of content programming, George Ergatoudis, had a successful meeting with Taylor's reps suggesting that she'd make her return to the streaming service.

"It's not a lock-in, but I've got every reason to be very optimistic Taylor Swift will be coming back to Spotify," he told Music Week. "I'm not saying it's done, but the indications are good, put it like that."

Though it only may be one song for now, we're hoping that this is an indication that there's more T-Swift to come to Spotify in the near future. Never ever ever getting back together? Maybe not so much.

This Study May Prove That the 'Freshman 15' Isn't a Real Thing

Even if you didn't gain the dreaded "freshman 15" during your first year of college, chances are good you probably freaked out about it just a little bit before moving in in the fall. It turns out, though, that you might not actually have had anything to worry about at all, according to a new study.

Refinery29 reports that a study lead by researchers at Middle Tennessee State University has found evidence that the freshman 15 isn't what we make it out to be. Instead, the study, which analyzed 8,984 students between 1997 and 2010, found that any weight gain typically happens gradually throughout all four years of college, not during freshman year alone.

In fact, the average freshman only gained one pound on average. Men gained an average of 14.1 pounds throughout college, and women gained an average of 8.3. (Meaning that even over all four years, neither of the averages actually reached the dreaded full 15 pounds.)

The takeaway here? You shouldn't be ashamed if you notice your body changing beyond just freshman year - and if you're headed off to your first year, it's not necessarily going to mean instant weight gain either. Besides, as long as you're staying healthy and practicing self-care, weight is just a number on a scale.

15 Struggles of Being the Friend That Goes to Bed Really Early

$

At 8 p.m. you look at the clock, and you just can’t help it. Your PJs are calling out to you, and in a flash you’re ready for bed and fast asleep. Friends and family know the drill, despite lots of offhand comments about how lame you are for going to bed so early. Don't worry though, we are here to support your sleep choices, and share your struggle of being the friend that goes to bed really early.

1. You get tired ridiculously early–sometimes even at 6 p.m.

Which basically means you’re useless for all nighttime activities. Don’t even get started on how you feel about night classes!

2. You are absolutely incapable of taking an afternoon nap. Either you’ve been cursed by a very powerful wizard or it’s genetically impossible.

4 p.m. or 8 p.m.—what’s the difference? If you take a nap you might as well sleep the rest of the night.

3. This makes afternoon plans with your friends really hard since they’re all busy napping.

While you’re left in sleepless in bed to watch more Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

4. Making nighttime plans with your friends is even harder.

And it means missing a lot of those crazy “college” type activities.

5. It’s pretty common to go to sleep wrestling with FOMO and thinking about all the fun you might be missing.

That is until you realize that your bed is 1000 times better than going out.

6. In the morning you usually wake up to bunches of text messages asking “where are you?” and “are you seriously asleep already?”

Any solicitation to hang out after 8 p.m. will likely go unanswered. Sorry, not sorry.

7. You passionately feel that dinner should take place at 5:00, not 7:00.

Eating when the moon is out is essentially sacrilege. Everyone should be sleeping by then.

8. Going out to see a late movie is impossible, because you will inevitably fall asleep as soon as the previews start.

Action movies are accompanied by the exciting sound of your snores.

9. You only manage to make it out to a party or bar about once a month—if that.

Wometimes you pretend to fall asleep extra early just to avoid going out.

10. If your friends do manage to drag you out, there’s a horrifying probability that you will pass out on a couch in public.

While normal college students sneak off to a bedroom to hook up, you sneak off to take a quick nap.

11. Most people load up on coffee in the morning, but your caffeine intake happens as soon as it’s dark out.

Oh, is that starlight? Pardon me while I take 15 shots of espresso so that I can make it past sunset.

12. There is no such thing in your vocabulary as an "all-nighter."

Those words incite a well-deserved scoff.

13. Half of your wardrobe consists of pajamas.

When you sleep as long as we do, PJ selection becomes just as important as daytime clothes.

14. The thought of exercising at night makes you want to throw up in your mouth.

If you tried to run on a treadmill, you would just fall down and stay there.

15. In the end, the FOMO, narcolepsy and the inability to last through a movie are all worth it. You love going to sleep, and promote it as the best life choice anyone can make.

This Fan Video Will Probably Convince You That Lucas is Uber A on 'Pretty Little Liars'

Fans have been trying to solve the secret identity of Uber A on Pretty Little Liars for years. While many have speculated that Wren is the culprit, a new fan theory points the finger at another sketchy Rosewood resident.

YouTube user G_xoxo released a thirty-minute video that dissects Lucas and his every move and determines that he is responsible for the chaos Aria, Spencer, Hanna, Emily and Alison have had to endure.

The theory isn’t far-fetched considering Lucas always pops up at random times in the series and was once working with Mona when she targeted the girls. Who knows, maybe when the show returns on April 18 he'll drop even more hints that he's Uber A.

Check out the video below and see if you're convinced that Lucas is to blame.

Jordan Peele Will Make You Think Twice About ABC's First Black Bachelorette

Since Monday night, Bachelor Nation has been discussing the “historical” choice, as creator Mike Fleiss puts it, to make a woman of color the next Bachelorette. In the franchise's 33 seasons, Rachel Lindsay, a 31-year-old Dallas attorney, will be the first black lead.

While promoting his new film Get Out on Jimmy Kimmel Live, comedian-turned-director Jordan Peele had to comment on the announcement, considering Kimmel revealed the news on his show.

While he's excited for Rachel to be the Bachelorette, Peele doesn't believe that having a black lead will ensure a diverse cast. “You know it's not going to be populated with a bunch of brothers,” he said. “There's going to be two brothers, and there's going to be, like, 20 white dudes, and they're all going to be saying, ‘Hey, you know, I love Beyoncé. I just wanted you to know that.’”

“I feel like this Bachelorette season is going to be inspiration for Get Out 2,” he joked.

Kimmel then asked Peele a question that some fans are certainly pondering right now. “If there are 30 bachelors for Rachel, what is the appropriate number of African-American Bachelors?”

Peele gave the perfect response. “The representation should be equal to the representation to this country.”

Well said, Peele! Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until spring to see how the season turns outs.

Norma McCorvey, 'Jane Roe' of the Roe v. Wade Decision, Has Died at 69

Norma McCorvey, better known as Jane Roe, the anonymous plaintiff in the landmark 1973 Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade, has died at the age of 69.

The Washington Post reports that McCorvey passed away in an assisted living facility in Katy, Texas due to heart problems - her death was confirmed by journalist Joshua Prager, who was currently working with McCorvey on a book about Roe v. Wade.

McCorvey was 22 years old when she became desperate to end her pregnancy as a poor, unwed woman. At the time when she filed suit in 1970, her home state of Texas was one of many states in which abortion was completely illegal except when saving the life of the mother.

The case turned into one of the most well-known women's rights-related Supreme Court decisions in history, and established a woman's right to choose to end a pregnancy with a 7-2 ruling. However, by the time McCorvey's case was decided, her child, who she'd given up for adoption, was already two years old.

Along with many other reproductive rights issues, Roe v. Wade is still hotly debated, and President Trump has promised to appoint Supreme Court justices during his term that would overturn the ruling.

Hunter McGrady is the Body-Positive Model You're Going to Want to Know About

The 2017 Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated may just be the magazine's most body-positive yet, thanks to plus-size model Hunter McGrady.

McGrady was the winner of this year's Sports Illustrated Model Search contest, and despite the fact that she's a fresh face, we're thinking this won't be the last we see of her. The model's 38-inch waist makes her the curviest woman to ever grace the magazine's pages - and considering how much her shoot totally ~killed it~ we hope this is the proof other magazines need to start featuring more diverse body types.

This is a surreal moment for me. You guys I have been bursting to tell you all about this! I want to thank @MJ_Day for an opportunity like this to do the SI model search and for being a force in this industry and everyone at @si_swimsuit for promoting that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Beauty is not a number. It has no limits. I have never felt sexier than I did in this shoot. Thank you to @joannegair and team @therealmarissajade and @trendytribals for working your magic on my body. These women painted this suit for 12 hours and I never wanted to take it off. Women, for anyone who has ever felt uncomfortable or insecure because of rolls, or stretch marks, or cellulite, or acne, or felt like you didn't measure up because you weren't represented in the magazines--THIS IS FOR YOU! You are beautiful. You are STRONG. You are powerful and together we need to lift eachother up and inspire one another. There's too much going on on this world to let eachother fall by the wayside. Shot by another incredible woman- @josie_clough amazing sexy beach hair by @adammaclay thank you to my agents @uralucky1 @marissamuscari @ginabaronedirectorofficial @jaimegoldberg_ @wilhelminamodels for being such hard working and dedicated team! McGrady also has a totally kickass, empowering message for every woman who has felt like she's not enough because of her body type. "Women, for anyone who has ever felt uncomfortable or insecure because of rolls, or stretch marks, or cellulite, or acne, or felt like you didn't measure up because you weren't represented in the magazines--THIS IS FOR YOU! You are beautiful," she captioned one of the photos she posted from the shoot.

In addition to McGrady's appearance in the magazine, Sports Illustrated also features 63-year-old supermodel Christie Brinkley and debuted Ashley Graham's new "Every Body, Every Age, Every Beautiful" ad campaign, resulting in an issue that's far more diverse in age and size than ever before. Maybe a cover is in order for McGrady in the future?

This Utah GOP Official Thinks Equal Pay is Unfair to Men

$

James C. Green, vice-chair of the Wasatch County Republican Party in Utah spoke out against equal pay for women - and get this: the logic he used to support his claim is that equal pay is "unfair to men."

In a letter to the editor published in local news site the Park Record, Green writes that the problem with equal pay is "simple economics." (Or not.)

"Traditionally men have earned more than women in the workplace because they are considered the primary breadwinners for families," he says "They need to make enough to support their families and allow the Mother to remain in the home to raise and nurture the children."

Green concludes his letter arguing that legislators should be encouraged to, "drop the whole notion." K.

As Elle.com points out, in a country where women are the sole or primary breadwinner in 40 percent of all households, Green's argument is high-key out of touch and pretty much laughable.

Apparently, Green caught wind that people weren't too happy with the letter and issued an "apology."

"I submitted a letter last week which some found offensive," he began. (Ya think?) "There was no offense intended toward Women, whatsoever. And yet some took it that way. To those who were offended, I profusely apologize. I sincerely did not mean to do that."

And just in case you were second-guessing yourself, it is in fact 2017, not 1957.

These Photos of Beyoncé From Solange Knowles's Grammys After Party Are EVERYTHING

While she didn't nab Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammys, in typical Beyoncé fashion, it didn't stop her and her family and friends from celebrating on Sunday night after the Grammys - and you NEED to see the photos.

Queen Bey's sis Solange apparently hosted the after-party following the awards ceremony, and we don't even know where to start with the photos Tina Knowles-Lawson (Bey and Solange's mother), posted on Instagram. Naturally, the queen opted for another outfit change - this time, she slayed in a white gown with a plunging neckline and a silhouette that perfectly showed off her baby bump.

A post shared by Tina Knowles (@mstinalawson) on

Oh, and NBD or anything, but there was a DESTINY'S CHILD REUNION and we have so many feelings about it.

A post shared by Tina Knowles (@mstinalawson) on

Mama Knowles cleverly captioned the *iconic* photo, "Destiny's children with children," becuase of course.

While most of the fam seemed to be in attendance, including Jay-Z and Solange's husband Alan Ferguson, 5-year-old Blue Ivy was noticably missing from the party. (We're guessing it was way past her bedtime.)

Lesson learned: when life throws you disappointment be like Beyoncé and throw a party anyways. In fact, always be like Beyoncé.

How to Get in Shape For Spring Break: Your 3-Week Plan

$

The countdown to spring break has begun. Stores are advertising all things beachy to get us in the mood for exotic vacations. Bikini-clad mannequins grace storefront displays. The only problem? Your body needs some tough love.  Prepare to don your bikini proudly with Her Campus’s 3-week tone up calendar, courtesy of Evie Oregon, M.S., Kinesiology instructor at Michigan State University, Ross Sherman, Ph.D, exercise science professor at Grand Valley State University, and Larissa True, M.S., Doctoral student in Kinesiology at Michigan State University and certified personal trainer.

Getting started...

What exactly will these three weeks entail? You’ll be doing a mix of cardio and strength training. Oregon says, “I would prescribe a 3 week plan that has you working out 5 out of the 7 days in a week and that implements 2-3 lifting sessions a week, cardio every day varying in intensity level between light and moderate for a minimum of 30 minutes but no longer than 70 minutes.”

Why both? “The cardio will not only help to torch calories, but can also help to alleviate sore muscles caused by lifting weights,” True adds. Weight training helps build strength and prevents injuries.

Three weeks isn’t a lot of time, so you have to commit if you want a toned spring break body. “One day can really throw you off,” Oregon warns, “so good time management is crucial.”

Get your spring break bod with this plan!

“For Week 2, you’ll need to up the intensity of your workouts. You can do this at your own pace, but remember that you need to be a little bit uncomfortable when doing the exercises. If the suggestions here aren’t enough for you, use a slightly heavier weight or perform more repetitions. The example here uses the same size weights for Week 2, but more repetitions of each exercise,” True explains.

For example, stand on your right foot. Push yourself up onto the ball of your foot, hold for 3 seconds, and lower your heel. Do 3 sets of 15, then do your left leg).
  • Repeat all four exercises (lunges, squats, wall sits, and toe raises) 2 more times.

Thursday: 50 minutes cardio

Friday: 30 minutes cardio; repeat Monday’s arm, ab, and leg exercises.

Saturday: 45 minutes cardio

Week 3

Mantra: “I am proud of my body and what it can do.”

at the gym working out

“For Week 3, you’ll need to, again, up the intensity of your workouts. Another way to change up the exercises is to do each exercise for a certain amount of time (i.e., as many pushups as possible in 30 seconds). That’s how the workouts for Week 3 are structured. You might be surprised at how challenging this can be even though you’ve already been doing these exercises for 2 weeks. If 30 seconds isn’t long enough for some of the exercises, up the time to 45 seconds or 1 minute,” says True.

Sunday: day off

Monday: 30 minutes cardio

- Arm exercises:

Do each of the following exercises for 30 seconds, in the order they are listed. Try not to take a break in between each exercise and try to do as many as you can in 30 seconds:

  • Bicep curl (rather than doing the “slow burn” technique, do as many as you can in 20 seconds)
  • Shoulder presses
  • Pushups

- Ab exercises:

  • Plank—Hold for 45 seconds. Repeat 2 more times.
  • Leg raises: Do as many leg raises as you can in 30 seconds. Repeat 2 more times.

- Leg exercises:

  • With your 3-5 lb dumbbells in each hand, do as many lunges as you can in 30 seconds; repeat with squats.
  • Wall sits: “Sit” for 40 seconds on the wall, making sure that your legs are at a 90-degree angle.
  • Repeat all three exercises (lunges, squats, and wall sits) 2 more times.

  • Bicep curl (rather than doing the “slow burn” technique, do as many as you can in 20 seconds)
  • Shoulder presses
  • Pushups

- Ab exercises:

  • Plank—Hold for 40 seconds. Repeat 2 more times.
  • Leg raises: Do as many leg raises as you can in 30 seconds. Repeat 2 more times.
  • Toe touches: Do as many toe touches (alternating leg/arm combination) as you can in 30 seconds. Repeat 2 more times.

- Leg exercises:

  • With your 3-5 lb. dumbbells in each hand, do as many lunges as you can in 30 seconds; repeat with squats.
  • Wall sits: “Sit” for 40 seconds on the wall, making sure that your legs are at a 90-degree angle.
  • Toe raises: do as many toe raises as you can in 30 seconds (do not hold for 3 seconds when you are on the ball of your foot).
  • Repeat all four exercises (lunges, squats, wall sits, toe raises) 2 more times.

Thursday: 45 minutes cardio

Friday: 30 minutes cardio; repeat Monday’s arm, ab, and leg workout.

Saturday: 45 minutes cardio

Diet plays a part too...

eating healthy You can work out as much as you want but if you’re chowing down on super greasy fast food, you’re not going to see the body you want. Oregon’s rule of thumb: “stick with natural foods and nuts, such as almonds, and think of eating foods that are the color of the rainbow: leafy greens, salmon, berries, apples.” Sherman also suggests eating foods loaded with whole grains. Eating whole grains “releases energy slower over the course of the day, and prevents rapid changes in blood sugar (which equals hunger),” says Sherman.

To ensure a flat stomach in time for spring break (or even when you’re relaxing on the beach), “totally cut out soda, candy, alcohol (especially beer),” Sherman advises.

And—do I really need to tell you?—drink water. “There are numerous benefits to water—it helps the skin, muscles, and will make you feel much better than any carbonated beverage!” True says. Plus, it will keep you hydrated during your workouts.

Don’t fear the bikini; show off your toned body! Oregon, True, and Sherman agree that three weeks is hardly enough time to completely change your body, but the thing to focus on is having a healthy body you are proud of. And, of course, feeling confident and having a blast on spring break!

Rihanna's Beauty Line, Fenty Beauty, is About to Become a Reality

We've been waiting on Rihanna's beauty line, Fenty Beauty, for nearly a year since it was announced - and it's looking like the line is finally shaping up to be a reality.

Elle.com reports that Fenty Beauty has officially announced its first product: a holographic lip product used on the Fenty x Puma spring 2017 runway. The brand also just started its Instagram page @fentybeautycosmetics, where it posted a photo of the soon-to-be-released lip color (a super pretty, universally-flattering pink shade), saying it would be available in Sephora stores this fall. (So we finally at least have an estimate, people!)

It turns out that Fenty Beauty will also be holding auditions to find brand makeup artists in three U.S. cities: New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. According to Eric Soto, the Global Artistry and Education senior manager at Fenty, the brand hopes to find makeup talents that wouldn't otherwise be considered for the position.

"By opening this up the our larger makeup community we hope to build a diverse team of beauty experts who excel in the areas of artistry, elevated education, makeup experience and have an ability to best represent a brand," he wrote on Instagram.

So basically, if you can nail a smoky eye and potentially want the ultimate beauty dream job (who wouldn't?) you might want to consider applying.

13 Ways to Save Money on Spring Break

Every penny is precious for the average college student, but spring break has a way of making you throw your good spending habits out the window. But you don’t have to sacrifice all of your savings for a stellar spring break vacay, collegiettes! Try these tips to have a blast this year but still have money left when you return.

1. Stay with people you know

Know a friend who lives in New York? Maybe your Aunt Jan has a vacation home in Florida. Call those friends or family members and ask if you can spend a night or two with them. You could save yourself $100 or more per night by not staying in a hotel.

Sophie Dodd, a junior at Middlebury College, says that when she vacations with friends, she tries to crash with buddies along the way as often as possible. “Chances are you’ll have a friend at school in Florida, New York, etc.,” she says. So if you know someone who lives at your spring break destination, give him or her a call and see if you can crash there for a night or two.

2. Take the bus instead of flying

Let’s face it: plane tickets are expensive. If you can, take a bus instead of a plane to your spring break destination. The tickets will cost you a fraction of the price of a plane ticket!

Gabrielle Sorto, a sophomore at Georgia State University, says that she once took a Megabus to New Orleans for vacation and paid only $90 for a round trip, a fourth of what the plane ticket would have cost. “It obviously did take longer,” she says. “But it was worth it with how much I saved.” If you’re traveling with friends, you can always play games and have a great time along the way!

3. Make it a camping road trip

Make the journey to your vacation destination into a road trip adventure! If everyone pitches in for gas, your traveling costs will be astronomically lower. Instead of paying for hotels every night, camp out under the stars. You can rent camping equipment from REI for a pretty decent price. You can also check out Recreation.gov to find government-owned campsites along your route, which are much less expensive to rent than private campsites. You can even save money by finding the least expensive gas stations along the way: check out GasBuddy. Pump up your favorite jams, pack your camping gear and remember that getting there is half the fun!

4. Do some creative touring

When it comes to vacation, it’s easy to spend your bucks on swimming with the stingrays, but there are so many fun and exciting attractions all over the country that you can try for free! Using the free app RoadTrippers, you can search for tourist attractions and offbeat destinations in your area and even compare their costs. You just enter your starting location and your destination, and RoadTrippers will show you tons of interesting tourist spots along your route. Instead of spending nearly $100 on a theme park ticket or breaking the bank over dinner at an expensive restaurant, you can use this app to find fun activities that are totally inexpensive.

5. Bring your own food

Dining out can drain your wallet fast. Did you know that in 2011, the average US restaurant meal cost $35.65? Think of how much money you could save if you packed lunch or cooked your own dinners!

When going on a trip, pack snacks! And, if you’re 21, bring your own booze (those fancy umbrella drinks aren’t always worth the $12). Stock up on granola bars, microwavable treats, other healthy snacks and supplies for preparing meals at a grocery store near your hotel.

Meghan Gibbons, a senior at Boston College, says that to save money on drinks, she brings a reusable water bottle. “I’ll bring it with me by the pool, on the beach or on an adventurous activity to save me money,” she says.

6. Don’t waste the food you do buy

While it’s great to save money by grocery shopping, chances are you’re going to eat out at some point. You’re on vacation, and you have to treat yourself! So when you do splurge, don’t be wasteful. Does your hotel have a free breakfast? Grab a few extra pieces of fruit or a muffin to snack on later. Take your leftovers from a restaurant lunch with you and eat them for dinner. Most restaurants will give you a to-go box, and most hotels have at least a mini fridge to keep your food from spoiling. Don’t let the money you spend on food go to waste!

7. Get discount tickets at Costco

Do your parents have a Costco membership? With a Costco membership, you can get discounted tickets to Disney World, Universal Orlando and many more theme parks. They also offer discounts for hotels, car rentals and vacation packages. You can go to the Costco Travel website to see what deals you can find before you leave. All you have to do is enter your membership information to purchase discount tickets.

8. Bring coupons with you

Groupon and LivingSocial will most likely have deals for your vacation destination! The sites can offer you group deals on dinners out, water sports or even a spa day.

“We went all-inclusive, which in the long run will be far less expensive,” Alli Smith, a staff writer for Her Campus Sewanee, says of finding a good deal on the sites. All you have to do is enter your vacation location a few weeks before you leave, and the sites will send you coupons in your area as soon as they’re available.

9. Use your student ID

You’d be surprised by how many places offer student discounts, and not just on clothes and food: many attractions and transportation companies will offer student discounts. If you’re not sure if a retailer offers a discount for students, just ask!

10. Rent a bike

So many big cities now let you rent bikes for cheap. Instead of paying for expensive cabs or renting a car when you get to your destination, rent a bike at your location and use that to get around. You can log onto Spinlister to find locations near you where you can rent a bike. All you do is enter your location and the site will show you places near you to rent a bike. Or, to save even more money, just walk!

11. Only bring the amount of money you want to spend

Credit cards can be a dangerous thing. It’s easy to lose track of how much money you’re spending when you’re just swiping a card. To make sure you stay on budget, only bring the cash with you that you want to spend when you go out at night. Or, if you’re uncomfortable carrying cash, you can always purchase a prepaid debit card.

Kailee Baylor, president and editor-in-chief of the University of Tampa Her Campus chapter, says that only bringing the cash with her that she wants to spend always keeps her on track. “By only taking out an amount I’m comfortable spending, it stops the temptation of impulse (and often drunk) buys,” she says.

Figure out what you want to spend each night and only carry that with you. It’s always a smart idea to be prepared for the unexpected, though. For emergencies, Kailee recommends keeping an extra $20 in a secret part of your purse. “That extra $20 can pay for a taxi back to your hotel—a lifesaver when you’re in unfamiliar territory,” she says.

12. Spend the night outside of touristy areas

When traveling to areas that draw a lot of tourists, the hotels and hostels right in the middle of everything are usually the most expensive. Chastity Deforme, a senior at Brandeis University, recommends checking websites like Hostels.com to find inexpensive options just a little further away from the center of everything.

“Sometimes you will find bed-and-breakfast houses that give great discounts to large groups, and the places are really quaint,” she says.

13. Use your phone to keep you on track

Have trouble sticking to a budget? You’re not the only one! Budget apps like BUDGT ($1.99) or Travel Budget Tracker ($1.99) allow you to input the amount of money you have to spend and then track your daily expenses. All you have to do is input your overall budget and then enter in how much you spend every time you make a purchase. You can keep track of exactly how much you’re spending and make sure you’re staying on track.

Having a great spring break doesn’t have to cost you a ton of money. With a little extra planning, you can save a ton of money on your vacation, but still have a whole lot of fun!

Trump Lied About a 'Major Incident' in Sweden That Never Actually Happened

On Sunday during a rally in Florida, President Trump alluded to terrorist attacks in Sweden as support for his stance on immigration - but even Swedish people themselves are baffled about what exactly Trump was referring to.

According to the New York Times, Trump began listing countries that have been victims of recent terrorist attacks - and included Sweden alongside them.

"You look at what’s happening," he said. "We’ve got to keep our country safe. You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?"

If you didn't hear anything in the news about a terrorist attack in Sweden on Friday night, it's because it didn't happen - and Swedes were quick to take to social media to call POTUS out for his lie. (Yes, there were IKEA jokes involved.)

Additionally, Swedish tabloid Afronbladet clapped back with a list of every newsworthy thing that happened in Sweden that night. Spoiler alert: no terrorist attacks are mentioned.

The country's last terrorist attack, a suicide bombing in Stockholm that killed two, happened in 2010 before the current refugee crisis. Sweden is known for its history of welcoming refugees, processing 163,000 in the year 2015 alone.

Trump's assertions about an alleged incident in Sweden come a few weeks after POTUS's senior advisor Kellyanne Conway referred to a made-up "Bowling Green Massacre" attack that never actually happened. Hmm.

This is not a drill: after two years of laying low since releasing her album Honeymoon in 2015, Lana Del Rey has officially given us a new single, called "Love."

Rolling Stone reports that Lana's fans had been buzzing about possible new music after seeing movie-esque teaser posters around Los Angeles earlier this week.

The track has all of Lana's signature ethereal, dreamy sound we've grown to love her for, with lyrics like, "Look at you kids, you know you're the coolest, the world is yours and you can't refuse it, seen so much, you could get the blues, but that don't mean that you should abuse it."

According to Lana, this isn't just a standalone single and a fourth album, along with a music video for the song, are on their way. (PRAISE!)

"I made my first four albums for me, but this one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed," she told Rolling Stone.

"Love" is available on Spotify and iTunes, or give it a listen below for your new music obsession.
