So, it's safe to say that the first Kylie pop-up shop in LA was a success. In fact, everything King Kylie touches seems to turn to gold, and her second store opening in NYC promises to be no different. If you don't follow The Kylie Shop on Instagram or Kylie herself on Snapchat (kylizzlemynizzl), you should probably do that now—the girl can't be stopped, and is constantly teasing new projects. Her latest reveals include a series of super cool merch that New York Kylistas (I just made that up—do you guys think it could stick?) will most likely fight to get their hands on. Trump Has Promised to 'Destroy' a Law That Bans Churches & Nonprofits From Participating in Political Campaigns

While speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, President Donald Trump vowed to remove the limits on political speech by tax-exempt religious organizations, saying, "I will get rid of and totally destroy the Johnson Amendment and allow our representatives of faith to speak freely and without fear of retribution."

The Johnson Amendment, which has been in place since 1954, has not been seen as particularly controversial. Nor has it been a major issue for the religious right. However, according to The Washington Post, Trump first stated his opposition to the amendment while speaking to Christian religious leaders last June, saying “I think maybe that will be my greatest contribution to Christianity—and other religions—is to allow you, when you talk religious liberty, to go and speak openly, and if you like somebody or want somebody to represent you, you should have the right to do it.”

Officially removing the amendment from the tax code would require congressional approval. And doing so would allow churches and other tax-exempt religious organizations to not only speak freely on political subjects, but also to endorse campaigns and support them financially without worrying about losing their tax-exempt status. Not that this is a huge concern at the moment—the IRS rarely enforces the Johnson Amendment, so the action would be largely symbolic on Trump’s part.

Trump’s announcement comes as religious groups in the United States are grappling with his executive order limiting immigration and refugee resettlement. The Huffington Post reported that, ahead of the Prayer Breakfast, more than 800 Christian leaders signed a letter to the president, reminding him that “the Gospel is not about prosperity, but Good News for the poor. In them, we encounter Christ” and to “protect the downtrodden” in accordance with Christian values. The repeal of the Johnson Amendment would be a victory for the religious right and is likely to be a move by Trump to quell some of their uneasiness about his other policies.

Not all groups are enthusiastic about the move, though. The Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty released a statement, according to the Post, saying, “Politicizing churches does them no favors. The promised repeal is an attack on the integrity of both our charitable organizations and campaign finance system. Inviting churches to intervene in campaigns with tax-deductible offerings would fundamentally change our houses of worship. It would usher our partisan divisions into the pews and harm the church’s ability to provide refuge.”

Never one to stay entirely on message, Trump rounded out his speech at the Prayer Breakfast with some assurances about the state of American foreign policy, a reminder that terrorism is a threat to religious liberty, and a jab at former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s, low ratings on the Celebrity Apprentice.

How to Dress for Super Bowl Sunday, No Matter Who You're Rooting For

It's that time of year again—Super Bowl time! Some of you might be stoked to see your favorite team competing for the Super Bowl LI championship title, and some of you might be like me and didn't even realize the Super Bowl was this weekend (sad, but true). Regardless of whether you've been following the New England Patriots or the Atlanta Falcons throughout the season, the 51st Super Bowl is definitely a game you won't want to miss. In addition to what's expected to be a great game, there will be tons of new commericals to see, an incredible Lady Gaga halftime show and countless of party snacks to eat. Also beer. So much beer.

But are you prepared for arguably the most important part of the day—your outfit? What you wear to a Super Bowl party says a lot about you as a sports fan (or food fan, or Gaga fan). Here are a few options that won't disappoint:

Sport a Custom Jersey

(NFLShop, $149)

(Kohl's, $26)

(American Eagle, $29.95)

Wearing a traditional jersey for your fav team is bound to be a hit at any Super Bowl party—especially if you style it the right way! Pair the jersey with a pair of leggings and sneakers for the perfect "I'm a real sports fan" look. Extra points if you wear a customizable jersey like the one shown above.

Rep Your Team with a Graphic Tee

(Target, $16.99)

(American Eagle, $59.95)

Jerseys can be a bit too expensive, especially if you're only buying one to wear for the Super Bowl. Instead, you can opt for a cheaper graphic tee sporting the team's logo. Pair this with your favorite skinny jeans and sandals and you're ready to go!

Color-Coordination for the Win

(Urban Outfitters, $24)

(ANGL, $39.99)

(Lulu's, $27)

If you'e not a sports fan at all (like me), buying any sports-related clothing seems like a total waste of money. Turns out, you can still show your support for one team by simply wearing their team colors! Lucky for us, this year's color scheme can either be black and red for the Falcons, or blue and red for the Patriots—you definitely have those colors in your closet! Grab your fav red shirt, black skinnies and a pair of simple booties and you're ready to pretend you actually enjoy football for a few hours!

Accessorizing Is Always the Answer

(Etsy, $20)

(Etsy, $25)

(Etsy, $3.95)

When all else fails, grab some accessories. Once you have your outfit lined up, just add some of these super cute accessories for a perfectly crafted Super Bowl outfit. You're sure to be the envy of every girl at the party with these pieces.

Super Bowl parties are almost as important as the game itself, so why not spend a little extra time planning your outfit? These options will definitely help you score big in the outfit game (too much??).

8 Hacks for Finding the Best Stuff in Thrift Stores

$

Vintage has always been fashionable – even before Forever 21 and Macklemore's song "Thrift Shop."

“Vintage clothing is classic, its often higher quality and it’s unique,” said Stephanie Lew, Marketing Director of Buffalo Exchange. “When you own a vintage dress, you know you’re going to be the only gal at the party wearing that dress.”

We’re here to help collegiettes know what to scoop and what to skip when finding those vintage deals at Goodwill, Buffalo Exchange and other second-hand stores. Since the items are used, it’s important to know what’s safe to buy used. We talked to Stephanie from Buffalo Exchange as well as Samantha Suman, a sophomore at the University of California, Los Angeles and member of Fashion and Student Trends (FAST). The club describes itself as “a group of kids who really love clothes, blogging, networking, and being creative.”

Thanks to Stephanie and Samantha, here are eight tips for bargain hunters.

1. Make sure it’s functional

Don’t buy a piece of clothing just because it looks cool or retro or unique. It has to be functional. If it doesn’t fit right, if it’s broken or stained, or if it’s really not your style, don’t buy it. Sometimes special items you find in thrift stores are tempting, but if it’s not you, odds are you won’t change your entire look by purchasing a non-functional item, Samantha said.

“Whenever you buy a new piece, take it home and start experimenting with different items from your closet,” Stephanie said.

Definitely play around with some new types of pieces, but just make sure it’s something you can actually wear that complements your daily style so it's not sitting in your closet for months.

2. Remember that most stains aren’t fixable

It’s very unlikely that a stained piece of clothing from Goodwill will ever be wearable – it’s certainly not in style. Don’t get your hopes up on a cute beaded jacket with a coffee stain. Don’t risk your money buying it; if it’s stained, leave it on the shelf.

3. Ripped clothing does not mean an automatic no-go

Ripped clothing, on the other hand, can work.

“With ripped clothing, it depends,” she said. “If it’s jeans, you can work with that. Put a patch or keep the rip. But a silk top with a rip in it, you can’t fix that.”

So depending on the aesthetic you want from your clothing, finding cheaper items with tears can work for a grunge or skater vibe. Additionally, Suman said you can use ripped clothing to repurpose it into a scarf or headband.

4. Buy clothing with multiple uses

The best way to make the most of your money is to buy items that are multi-purpose, Samantha said. Scarves can work as ascots or even has headbands, for example. This is a great way to mix up your wardrobe with simple patterned pieces that transcend different outfits.

And remember, by pairing different items together, you can create a whole wardrobe of unique outfits by changing up accessories and the like, Stephanie said. It's just one way to make the best use of a piece of clothing, instead of just condemning it to belong to one outfit alone.

“Trading out an oversized cardigan for a blazer and flat ankle boots for heels can totally transform your look,” Stephanie said.

5. Focus on statement pieces

It’s best to find statement pieces at thrift stores opposed to simple, basic attire. It’s more likely to find the rare, unusual flare jeans or ‘50s jacket at a thrift store than at a department store, so use your time to find those really special items. Staples like black tank tops or white tees can be found anywhere.

“Thrift stores are for one-of-a-kind things,” Samantha said.

Stephanie said some customers come in for affordable basics like jeans and tees, but others come for funky and fun. “Buffalo Exchange is a great place to find sequin leggings and a neon top for an 80s dance party, a dress for your graduation or a casual outfit for a day on campus,” Stephanie said.“And, of course, it’s a great place to score vintage band tees, Doc Martens, moto jackets and all the accessories to match.”

6. Know what's hygienic

One of Samantha’s favorite thrift store finds is a pair of black boots and despite other customers' occasional worries, shoes seem fine to buy. However, she says to pass on the undergarments or bathing suits. Never get those second-hand.  “I’d be okay with hats but not like fabric head pieces – nothing touching my hair,” Samantha said.

But that’s a personal preference – just make sure to wash all clothing you purchase before wearing to be safe and hygienic.

7. Double check the sizes

Stephanie also advises to be careful of sizes –  brands’ sizes may be different than what you typically wear, so you don’t necessarily need to follow the tag labels. Since some pieces can be more than 50 years old and items come from dozens of different designers, you can't always rely on being a size medium.

8. Be prepared to make a day of it

"You have to be okay with spending a long time sifting through piles and piles of clothes that aren’t necessarily organized,” Samantha said.

Thrift stores can be sorted by color or by purpose, and since every item is completely unique, it takes a long time to searching through every hanger to find the deals and exceptional items.

Of course you can go for a quick hour-long trip, but to really go hunting for thrift store finds, prepare to spend more than two hours trying on clothing and looking high and low for pieces that match your wardrobe. Don’t get discouraged, because a solid find is worth it.

If you get stuck on what to buy, ask employees in the store. Stephanie said employees at Buffalo Exchange are happy to help put together a stylish outfit with you.

Stephanie's tip? “Embrace the thrill of the hunt! The beauty of secondhand is that you never know what gem you’ll find. If you go in with an open mind, you can really expand your style horizons.”

Beyoncé and Her Baby Bump Will Be Performing at the Grammys

While nothing beats the major bomb Beyoncé dropped on all of us yesterday by announcing her pregnancy in the absolute best way possible, we've just been blessed by even more amazing Queen Bey news: Beyoncé will be taking the stage at the Grammys on February 12, newly-announced baby bump and all.

E! News reports that not only will Beyoncé be performing, but she's also garnered more nominations (she has a whopping nine, to be exact) than any other artist for her album Lemonade. (As if we're even a little bit surprised.) She'll also be breaking other Grammy records by becoming the most-nominated female artist in history, and the only artist to ever be nominated in four different generes.

This isn't the first time the Queen will be performing with a baby bump in tow - as People notes, she famously announced that she was pregnant with Blue Ivy while onstage at the MTV Music Video Awards in 2011.

All we have to say is praise be to Queen Bey for singlehandedly saving 2017. #Blessed.

This Woman Just Became the First Openly Transgender Mayor in Texas

Jess Herbst, the mayor of a small town in Texas, just made history by coming out as transgender after eight months in office.

The Huffington Post reports that Herbst, who is mayor of New Hope, Texas (which has a population of under 700 people), is believed to be Texas's first-ever transgender mayor. The best part? While the county New Hope is in is one of the most conservative in Texas, Herbst says she has received nothing but support since coming out.

"I have received emails congratulating me, calling me brave and even one expressing pride in living in a town with a mayor like me,” she told the Huffington Post. “I never hoped for more than simple tolerance, the outpouring of support is unprecedented."

Herbst became mayor after serving on the town council for ten years - she was appointed to the position last May after New Hope's current mayor passed away from a heart attack.

While she started to come out to a select few local officials in November, she made the announcement to the town via an open letter.

"As your Mayor I must tell you about something that has been with me since my earliest memories. I am Transgender. Two years ago, with the support of my wife, daughters and son-in-law, I began Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). At the time, I did not imagine I would hold the Mayors position, but here I am."

In the letter, Herbst goes on to mention figures like Caitlyn Jenner and Laverne Cox, who she says gave society the chance, "to see and learn about who we are."

In a state that's considering enacting anti-transgender bathroom laws similar to those already in place in North Carolina, it's reassuring to see the support and tolerance being offered to Herbst - hopefully Texas can learn something from New Hope.

What I Learned From Recording the Highlights of Each Day For All of 2016

$

For the year 2016, my 21st year, I decided to do something different. I bought a clear jar and struck an agreement with myself that at the end of each day, for all 365 days of the year, I would write down the best parts of that day (no negativity allowed!) on a little piece of paper and place it in the jar. I wanted to do this as a sort of research project on how my variables, 1) persistence in recording life’s happenings, each day and 2) acknowledging only the positive things, would affect the way I experienced the year.

I mustered up some research questions (this is not a science article, I promise!) and wanted to know:

Would I start approaching each day and maybe even the moments of my life with a new attitude?

Would I become a more mindful person, aware of the moments unfolding in front of me?

Would I experience more gratitude?

What would I learn about the passage of time?

And to amp up the experience even more, I decided I wouldn’t open the jar until the end of the year.

What kinds of things would I be thinking as I went through all of my little notes? Would any powerful epiphanies flood at me and would I suddenly have the answer to the mystery that we call life? (That was probably a stretch, but I wasn’t opposed to keeping it in the back of my mind.)

I was very excited to see how my little time capsule experiment would measure up against these big life questions. And what I found was that I examined and discovered more about life in one year than I had in my past twenty.

How we live each day is how we live our lives.

We often wake up in the morning and see “the day” as this obstacle to get through. While brushing our teeth in the morning, we mentally check through all the things that need to be done, letting out a heavier sigh with each task. And we simply surrender. After all, that’s the easiest thing to do.

At the beginning of the year, that was me: someone who just went through the motions. I was often on autopilot, mindlessly going through life. I would plop into bed at the end of the day, not even sure what really happened over the past 15-17 hours. But the more the days and months went on, as I put more notes in my jar, the more I found myself noticing the little things, like how nice it was when I found the time to curl up in bed with a book, how doing the dishes actually gave me time to think and how only in college do you get to eat an entire Jimmy John’s sub at 2 A.M. and then stay up for another hour having deep talk with your roommates.

And I started realizing it was these little things, each day, that were special, and I never wanted to overlook them. The most ordinary is sometimes the most significant. And these are the things that I know when I’m old and grown, reminiscing on my college years, I’ll be pining for the most.

It’s not just the huge milestones that can make your stomach wrench with pride and send that surge of joy through you, but equally, those moments in between.

And those moments are your life.

It’s not about what happens to us, but the meaning we assign to it.

The way we write the narratives of our lives, the stories we tell ourselves of what has happened to us and what we are as a result, makes up who we are. I realized that it’s not so much about what we have done, but the way we respond to it. What sticks with us is the attitude we tell the stories of our lives in. It’s about if we let moments make us feel regretful or broken, or if we see them with joy and with silver linings.

When I was going through my little notes, I didn’t remember all of the events in a play-by-play manner, but what was as clear as day were the feelings I got from them. Whether I was enlightened, proud, challenged… those feelings stuck with me. I’ll forget all these events someday, but what will stay with me forever is the learning and sentimentality that occurred to me in them.

Spontaneity is key.

The little notes that made me crack up the most were the ones where I did the most bizarre, idiosyncratic, and unexpected things, and I realized just how important spontaneity is.

Monotonous routines make us numb and robotic, and they even give the illusion of time moving faster. But we are only given one life… we can’t settle for that! It’s so tempting to sink into routines, and they can be great for productivity, but we should change it up when we can. Even a small change, like trying out a new spot for your daily coffee, or taking a new route to class, can be surprisingly uplifting, and even make life seem longer.

It’s typical to think that we should be “seizing the moment,” but just like the movie Boyhood, points out: maybe it’s the moment that seizes us. And we should be open to getting swept up in those things that come upon us, pleasantly and unexpectedly. Simply saying “yes” to something new could be the best part of your day, and who knows where it could lead you.

I deem this experiment to be a major success, and I urge everyone to do this! You can start any day you want!

The big moments, the fleeting ones… this is your life. And all the Snapchats and Instagrams you take will become old photographs one day, but right now, these moments aren’t stories you’re laughing about with old friends — they’re happening to you.

So go on and live your extraordinary, ordinary life.

If anything good at all has come from President Trump's immigration ban, it's that celebrities have really stepped up when it comes to using their positions of power to speak out. Many used the SAG awards to express their outrage last weekend, and today, the New York Times published an op-ed about the ban written by none other than Angelina Jolie.

In the powerful essay, Jolie explains why refugee policy should be based on facts, and not prejudice or fear. As she writes in her opening paragraph, "Far from being terrorists, they [refugees] are often the victims of terrorism themselves."

While Jolie notes that it's important to secure the U.S. border and protect ourselves from terrorism, she also uses research to back up the fact that refugees are clearly not the problem when it comes to fighting terrorism.

"Refugees are in fact subject to the highest level of screening of any category of traveler to the United States," she says. "This includes months of interviews, and security checks carried out by the F.B.I., the National Counterterrorism Center, the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department."

Not only that, but she points out that the executive order could fuel the exact problems the U.S. is trying to fix abroad - not to mention that it undermines the message of acceptance and tolerance this country has been built upon.

"If we create a tier of second-class refugees, implying Muslims are less worthy of protection, we fuel extremism abroad, and at home we undermine the ideal of diversity cherished by Democrats and Republicans alike," she writes.

Considering Jolie is a special envoy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and a mother of six children who were all born outside the U.S, it's no wonder she'd feel strongly about the ban - hopefully, we'll continue to see she and the rest of Hollywood use their platform to speak out.

4 Steps to Resolving a Fight With Your SO

$

From trivial matters like leaving the toilet seat up at your apartment to bigger issues like flirting with other people at parties, quarreling with your other half is inevitable. When emotions run high, things can take a turn for the worse and build up to the question of if you should just let go of the relationship. But not all conflict has to be destructive—there’s actually a productive way to work through it! We spoke with Heidi Nguyen, a marriage and family therapist, to understand the steps you need to follow to resolve a conflict with your SO—without having to shout or have your mascara run down your face.

Step 1: Consider the timing

First, you have to decide if the issue is worth confronting at all. In relationships, you often have to pick your battles.

Nguyen says to ask yourself, “Is it more important to have [this] relationship, or is it more important to be right?” If you think there’s a possibility of a loving, fulfilling relationship, and you want that, then make the choice to resolve the conflict.

Before you communicate your concerns to your SO, consider your mood and the atmosphere you and your SO are in. “Don’t wait until you are really fed up with the situation and about to explode,” Nguyen says. Bring it up in a calm, private conversation. If you’re at a party with a bunch of your friends and your SO, that’s not the best time to bring it up. Instead, try broaching the subject during a one-on-one dinner or on a walk.

Step 2: Keep your emotions in check

Nguyen says the first thing to do at the sign of a fight is calm down. “Take a time-out, take a deep breath—something to keep your emotions in check." Our natural tendency is to scream, attack and defend our own position, but if you want to productively resolve a conflict, you must take a step back and refrain from letting your emotions cloud your perception of the situation.

When you feel anxiety, anger or frustration taking over, Nguyen does not suggest walking away. “Walking away and not saying anything will lead the other person feeling rejected,” she says. “[Tell your SO] you just need time to calm down.”

If tensions are too high and you walk away, give your SO the heads up and tell them you need to clear your head before you continue the conversation—be specific about how much time you’ll need.

Step 3: Emphasize your needs and view the conflict objectively

Once you’ve calmed down, Nguyen says to consider your SO’s point of view while also owning your needs. “Rationally think about the goal, then approach communication in a way that’s consistent with that goal,” she advises.

Let’s say your goal is to have a more romantic relationship. It’s your birthday, and you’re waiting for your other half to arrive at the restaurant where you two will have a celebratory dinner. He shows up empty-handed, and you’re extremely hurt that he didn’t bring a birthday gift for you.

Though you’re internally upset, Nguyen says the best thing to do is take a deep breath and greet him how you normally would. Don’t let your anger influence you to cancel the date and storm off—that would mean you’re acting solely on emotions, which will hinder productive resolution.

After you’ve calmed down, casually bring up the fact that he didn’t meet your romantic needs. From there, Nguyen stresses that “your goal is to inquire—not tear him down, attack him or belittle him—whether he wants to work on being more romantic so that you can have a fulfilling relationship.”

It could be that you were raised to believe that sentimental gifts display love, or that in all your past relationships, that was your way of feeling loved. Whatever the reasoning behind your need is, express it to your SO. You could say, “I would’ve felt so loved and cared for if I got flowers from you on my birthday.” Use statements that begin with “I” such as, “I feel like...” or, “I think that...” That way, your SO will have an opportunity to respond or agree with your feelings. Chances are, Nguyen says, he will respond positively to your honesty.

Step 4: Find common ground

“With communication, the goal is to either accommodate him or for him to accommodate your needs. If that isn’t working out and [you] both get emotionally charged up again, then the goal is to agree to disagree,” Nguyen says.

Nguyen shares that being able to agree to disagree depends on the situation. “If it’s a belief, like religion—he’s Catholic and you’re Buddhist—you can agree to disagree,” she explains. “But if the situation is personally affecting the relationship, like there’s another girl involved, then [agreeing to disagree] is unrealistic. It would be like living with an elephant in the room.”

Nguyen urges to take into consideration your SO’s concerns, needs and perspectives within the context of the conflict. Find common ground, and then, if possible, compromise.

To sort the compromise, you have to be open and honest, but most importantly, you have to communicate. “Don’t interrupt; let each other talk, listen for the other’s perspective,” Nguyen says. “Then, wait until the person finishes to respond. Even go as far as to reflect back [what they said].” By repeating your SO’s words to him or her, you’re sending a signal that he or she is being heard, and it gives your partner a chance to repeat him or herself in case your interpretation of what he or she said isn’t accurate.

“If we put thought into what the goal is, there’s a way we can get it,” Nguyen says. “But if your emotions get in the way and you’re not mindful of the goal, [the result] usually comes out destructively.”

Nguyen believes that it’s not a confrontation so much as it is a discussion or a communication, bringing a conflict to attention so that it can be resolved.

Knowing how to handle a conflict with your SO can tremendously benefit your relationship. Don’t forget, collegiettes: conflict doesn’t have to be confrontational! And, most importantly, don’t let your emotions take control of the situation. Breathe in, breathe out and work it out!

The CEO of Uber Has Quit the Trump Economic Council, In A Win For Social Media Activism

Ever since President Donald Trump announced his economic advisory council, many major U.S. business leaders have been criticized for joining it. One of these chief executives, Travis Kalanick of Uber, has officially resigned from the council.

“Earlier today I spoke briefly with the President about the immigration executive order and its issues for our community,” Kalanick wrote in an email to employees, which was obtained by The New York Times. “I also let him know that I would not be able to participate on his economic council. Joining the group was not meant to be an endorsement of the President or his agenda but unfortunately it has been misinterpreted to be exactly that.”

Kalanick’s abandonment of the economic council and the Trump administration was likely sparked by last week’s widespread protest of the ride-sharing app, especially on social media. Following the executive order announcing a travel ban for immigrants from seven majority-Muslim countries, the New York Taxi Workers Alliance tweeted out that it would temporarily go on strike in solidarity with protesters at the JFK Airport.

Instead of striking alongside the NY Taxi Workers, Uber subsequently announced via Twitter that it would be lowering its prices in areas affected by the strike. Because of Kalanick’s inclusion on the economic advisory council, many people saw this as a move to support Trump and take business away from the taxis.

#DeleteUber trended on Twitter, with many people opting for Uber’s rival Lyft instead. Lyft swiftly capitalized on Uber’s PR crisis, pledging to donate $1 million to the American Civil liberties Union, which has filed multiple lawsuits against the travel ban. According to theVerge, Lyft surpassed Uber in downloads for the first time on Sunday. More than 200,000 customers had deleted their accounts, the Times reported.

The social media activism worked. At first, Kalanick released a statement listing the protections Uber would make available for its immigrant employees. This was ultimately ineffective at curbing both the #DeleteUber trend and internal worries about Uber’s affiliation with Trump—leading Kalanick to cut his ties to the president.

"There are many ways we will continue to advocate for just change on immigration but staying on the council was going to get in the way of that,” Kalanick wrote in his email to employees. “The executive order is hurting many people in communities all across America. Families are being separated, people are stranded overseas and there’s a growing fear the U.S. is no longer a place that welcomes immigrants."

Kalanick’s move away from Trump could put pressure on other top chief executives on the economic advisory council, including Robert A. Iger of Disney and Elon Musk of Tesla Inc.

Musk said via Twitter Thursday that he would use the economic council meeting to “express our objections to the recent executive order on immigration and offer suggestions for changes to the policy.”

However, some think that other companies involved in the Trump administration should take #DeleteUber as a warning sign. “Make no mistake: this is a crushing victory for a company that only a week ago, saw its CEO, Travis Kalanick, smugly assuring the world that his role advising Trump was in everyone’s best interest,” Dan O’Sullivan, a freelance writer credited with helping #DeleteUber go viral, told Vice News.

“As for the other 18 members of Trump’s Strategic and Policy Forum,” O’ Sullivan continued, “including the CEOs of Pepsi, General Motors, SpaceX, Disney, and Walmart—you’re next. Uber will not be the last to suffer for cozying up to Trump.”

Kellyanne Conway Cited A Fake Terrorist Attack Called the ‘Bowling Green Massacre’ on MSNBC

Kellyanne Conway, the senior Trump adviser who coined the term “alternative facts,” just spewed another alternative fact of her own: the “Bowling Green Massacre.”

During an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews on “Hardball,” Conway attempted to defend the travel ban by speaking of some Iraqi refugees who supposedly masterminded a serious terrorist attack here in the United States.

“I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama has a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre,” Conway said. “Most people don’t know that because it didn’t get covered.”

According to CNN, Obama never banned the Iraqi refugee program. He did implement more intense rules for vetting incoming refugees, resulting in a slowdown in processing applications, according to The Washington Post.

As multiple news outlets pointed out, Conway was right, though. The “Bowling Green Massacre” did not get covered.

Because it never happened.

Conway was mistakenly referring to two Iraqis refugees living in Bowling Green, Ky., who were sending weapons to al-Qaeda in Iraq in 2011, The New York Times reports. Both men—Mohanad Shareef Hammadi and Waad Ramadan Alwan—were indicted for terrorism, and sent to prison for at least 40 years. And no, there was no massacre.

Conway admitted her mistake (sort of) on Twitter Friday morning.

To clarify what she meant by the “Bowling Green Massacre,” she linked back to a story of the two Iraqi refugees…covered by ABC News. Which means that the media did, in fact, cover the incident in Bowling Green, Ky.

Wells Adams Thinks the 'Bachelor' Franchise is Ready for a Black Bachelorette But America Isn't

Those of you who are watching Nick's season ofThe Bachelor know that America is falling head over heels for contestant Rachel Lindsay. What's not to love about her? She's a confident attorney—not to mention she's drop-dead gorgeous! There's no question in our minds that she should follow in JoJo's footsteps as the next Bachelorette.

In a recent podcast interview on Vinny Ventiera's podcast "Wrong Reasons," former Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams said that America might not be able to embrace a Black Bachelorette. Wells, as well as Chase McNary, mentioned that America has seen a last-minute switch up in the bid for Bachelorette before. After Ben Higgin's season, everyone thought Caila Quinn was going to find her own love in Season 12, which was especially newsworthy since she is half-Filipino. At the last minute, there was a switch, and JoJo Fletcher—who is half-Iranian, btw—was announced as the Bachelorette.

"Remember, we all thought it was Caila, and that was exactly what they were trying to do—that was diversity being the forefront," Adams said. "And then they kind of took stock of how America felt about it, they kind of leaked that information, and they realized America wasn't super-pumped about that choice. Regardless of the diversity issue, it might've just been they didn't really love her personality or persona. But when they found out it was JoJo, people were very excited about that."

The two also jokingly said that Corinne would probably be announced as the next Bachelorette because they think it's something the producers would likely do.

"I think the franchise wants to so badly break out of its cookie-cutter, white-person shell, but I don't think that America will embrace it, sadly enough," he said. "And I think what they're going to do is, it will be misdirection. I think it's going to be…Rachel, and then at the last second, they'll have Corinne."

We can't speak for the entirety of Bachelor Nation, but we're ready for the show to give us a diverse lead and Rachel seems like the perfect fit.

Milo Ventimiglia is Here to Ruin Your Dreams of Another 'Gilmore Girls' Revival

Ever since the November release of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life on Netflix, we’ve been bugging about *that* cliffhanger because we need ~answers~ ASAP. The idea of releasing more new episodes continues to circulate, which still gives us some hope for closure.

Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino hasn’t ruled out the idea of releasing new episodes in the form of a second revival. And we haven’t gotten confirmation that there won't be another return to Stars Hollow. Until now…maybe?

Milo Ventimiglia, aka Jess Mariano, recently crushed our dreams of another revival in an exclusive interview with Variety. In the past, he entertained the idea of reuniting with Rory, but it appears he is now content with the series’ conclusion.

“If [creators] Dan Palladino or Amy Sherman-Palladino ever called me [for more episodes], of course [I’d do them]. They are the reason why I show up,” Milo said. OK this is good—there’s still hope, right?

He continued, “Amy created Jess, and I loved speaking her words but I do kind of feel like audiences shouldn’t get so greedy. They were given a last serving of pie—why don’t we just leave it at that?”

Nope. Nope. Nope.

He doesn’t beat around the bush when asked whether he has considered the identity of the father of Rory’s future child either. “No, nor have I spent any time wondering. Let me be real honest: When I worked on the show, that was my present but that’s 13 years in the rearview for me now so I don’t spend what little free time I have wondering about the baby of a past TV flame,” Milo said.

While we’re sad to hear this news from one of the core cast members, it doesn’t actually invalidate rumors about another revival. If you need us, we’ll be binge-watching Gilmore Girls all weekend while we ugly-cry into a freshly brewed cup of coffee—especially whenever Jess comes into frame.

Even though last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy focused more on Alex and his trial, it also focused on the fact that Dr. Minnick is trying to change the way the hospital works. Since Dr. Webber, the heart of the hospital, arrived at the hospital many years ago, he has created a program that works for all the doctors and the staff. Everybody loves him and respects him as the former chief of surgery.

Ever since Dr. Minnick's appearance this past season, the show has been testing our patience since this new doctor is trying to take Webber's place and mess up the program that he built. In last night's episode, we were able to see how Minnick's new system is affecting the doctors, and we're not fans. Dr. Webber shouldn't be replaced, and here are some reasons why.

1. Everybody loves him

Who doesn't love Richard Webber?

2. He built the program from the ground up

And there's no way that it's going to change.

3. He has a special bond with his doctors

Especially Meredith.

4. Everybody looks up to him

He's just the best.

5. And probably the wisest guy ever

6. He's viewed as a father figure to most

Everybody sees Richard as a dad.

7. He's smart and knows what he's doing

Nobody can mess with his knowledge.

The internet is losing its shit because this random teenager looks just like Cara Delevingne's dad.

Sixteen-year-old Seth Hamby tweeted a photo of him next to a pic of a young Mr. Delevingne, and needless to say it's creepy AF. Since then, it's gone viral, and people are flipping the freak out.

In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Seth said that friends came up to him mentioning his crazy resemblence to Cara's dad after the actress posted a throwback picture on Instagram. “A few friends came up to me and showed me this picture of Cara Delevingne’s dad, and I was like, ‘WTF, where did you get that picture of me?’, then I realised it wasn’t me,” he said.

Does this mean that Cara has a long-lost brother that we didn't know about?

Check out how people are reacting to this crazy scenario.

If you're looking to start a Twitter fight, J.K. Rowling isn't the person to mess with. She will take anyone down.

Someone tweeted at Rowling, saying, "Nicholas Flamel dies at age 666 in the potter books. Odd. The mark of the beast in a children's novel?"

Rowling spit back a response in no time.

Another Twitter user then asked Rowling, "What happened to kreacher, the house elf after the books?"

Rowling had a witty response, yet again.

I think people can see not to mess with this lady. We're not sure which we like better—these tweets or the ones she sent in response to trolls threatening to burn her books.
