Not too long ago, the official trailer for Fifty Shades Darker was released (and got us all hot and bothered). Now, the movie just got steamier than we even thought possible thanks to an unexpected collaboration that no one was prepared for. Taylor Swift hasn't released new music in what seems like forever, but her duet with Zayn Malik for the highly-anticipated movie's soundtrack is giving us LIFE.

Considering how amazing the first Fifty Shades soundtrack was, the filmmakers defnitely had to step up their game for the sequel. That being said, it only makes sense that they brought together Taylor and Zayn for "I Don't Wanna Live Forever." Taking to social media, Taylor shared a snippet of the smooth song, getting us even more excited for the movie.

Needless to say, everyone lost their chill and the song jumped to the number one spot on iTunes within minutes.

Well that escalated quickly. @jackantonoff @zayn @sam_dew

Even Gigi Hadid couldn't contain her excitement over the glorious collaboration.

Lorde is also clearly living for this track just as much as we are.

And because Taylor and Zayn are so talented, the track came together in no time.

Taylor seems to be so happy with the success of the track that she's been super active online.

We'll have this track on REPEAT until the movie is released—or we get a full album from Tay.

Stanford Is Trying to Pay Sexual Assault Survivors to Withdraw Their Title IX Complaints

Stanford University has offered monetary settlements to at least two women who filed Title IX complaints with the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR), BuzzFeed News reports. But they're offering the settlements on the condition that these women withdraw their complaints, helping Stanford get out of federal Title IX investigations.

Leah Francis, a 2014 Stanford grad, told BuzzFeed News that Stanford offered her a $60,000 check in October to withdraw the Title IX complaint that she filed with the OCR. Francis considered taking the settlement in order to help with her debt and therapy, but denied it as soon as she discovered that it required her withdrawing her complaint.

“Stanford should stop trying to isolate and bully survivors of sexual assault into dropping their complaints by dangling much-needed money for health care in front of them,” Francis told BuzzFeed.

Francis went public about her case in June 2014, five months after the sexual assault took place, The Stanford Daily reports. She filed a report that June requesting that her abuser be expelled, who was found guilty in April 2014 of the reported assault on Jan. 1 of that year. The male student was punished with a five-quarter suspension and community service, scheduled to begin after he graduated. He would have been able to return to Stanford for graduate school after taking a year off.

The other woman who was offered a settlement requested to remain anonymous, and declined to comment on how much the school offered her. She refused the settlement as well, as both women felt that it was important that the federal investigations continued. They want to push Stanford to reform the way it handles sexual assault cases. Is the Brock Turner case coming to mind?

While not denying that Stanford has offered settlements in these cases, Stanford spokeswoman Lisa Lapin said it would be "unethical" for the university to comment because they “are conducted under assurances of confidentiality,” BuzzFeed News reports.

"Unethical" is certainly an ironic choice of words there.

“Anyone involved in such discussions would be acting unethically to make statements, true or not, about what took place,” Lapin said. “Stanford has been cooperating with the Office of Civil Rights in its investigation, and Stanford would not make presumptions about what OCR will investigate. We are confident that OCR will determine for itself the matters it will pursue.”

“The only reason I filed in the first place was so that this would never happen to another girl at Stanford,” another woman who was offered a settlement told BuzzFeed. “All I care about Stanford doing is policy reform to better serve victims of gender-based violence. I do not have faith they are going to do that themselves.”

Francis has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for 2 years of therapy treatment of PTSD. Any money raised above $11,000 will be donated to the YWCA and AWARE, two organizations that support sexual assault and domestic violence survivors.

Gigi Hadid Reveals She's Battling A Thyroid Disease

The Hadid family has been outspoken about their battles with debilitating illnesses. On Wednesday, Gigi Hadid opened up about her struggle with Hashimoto's, a thyroid disease.

Gigi revealed her condition at a panel hosted by Reebok, where she was in the company of other empowering female celebrities like Ruby Rose and Aly Raisman.

Hadid has been living with this disease for two years and has taken medicine to combat the long-term effects of the disease, but she still suffers from metabolism imbalance. Speaking about this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Hadid shared that she prepped for the runway by trying to become leaner rather than losing weight to get skinnier.

"My metabolism actually changed like crazy this year," she said. "I have Hashimoto's disease. It's a thyroid disease, and it's now been two years since taking the medication for it, so for the VS show I didn't want to lose any more weight, I just want to have muscles in the right place, and if my butt can get a little perkier, then that's good."

We admire Gigi for revealing her fight with thyroid disease because many other people struggle with this. More visibility will hopefully lead to better treatments.

Women's March Protesters Won't Be Allowed at the Lincoln Memorial the Day After the Inauguration

It seems like in the past few years of political and social chaos, the First Amendment right to protest has become one increasingly vital for those voicing their dissatisfaction. But apparently protesting can be illegal. That's why the Women’s March on Washington, which will take place the day after President-Elect Donald Trump's inauguration, will not be taking place at the Lincoln Memorial as originally planned.

January 21st, 2017. Save the date.

A photo posted by Women's March On Washington (@womensmarchonwashington) on

The National Park Service is denying protesters access to huge areas of land on Pennsylvania Avenue and the National Mall, including the Lincoln Memorial. The ban applies leading up to, during and after the inauguration.

Mike Litterst, spokesman for the NPS, toldThe Guardian that the restriction on certain areas is practical, since there's a lot of set-up both before and after the inauguration—for example, bleachers for people to sit. “They’re construction zones, effectively,” he said.

But Constitutional litigator Mara Verheyden-Hilliard said in a press conference held by the Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER) Coalition that the permits still violate the First Amendment right to demonstrate.

“It hasn’t come up in any way previously, where you’ve had a groundswell of people trying to have access on the Saturday, Jan. 21, and thousands of people want to come, and the government is saying we won’t give you a permit,” she said. Verheyden-Hilliard isn't specifically associated with the Women's March on Washington.

In an update on their website, the Women’s March on Washington said on Nov. 25 that securing a permit is an “ongoing process”.

“We want to ensure that everyone understands it is a process, meaning a request of this nature and size takes time and coordination of agencies before the permit is approved,” Janaye Ingrame, head of logistics, wrote in the update.

It might look like their options are narrowing, and on their website they're basically giving a big TBD to the event location, but Cassey Fendlay, spokeswoman for the march, told The Guardian that they already have another location. Okay, yay, but where exactly is that for the thousands of women trying to march?

Why You’re Not Having Orgasms (& How to Fix It!)

So you’ve never had an orgasm—or you have, but only by yourself. Whether you can’t climax from sex with your partner, or you can’t quite figure out how to make yourself tick, there are plenty of reasons why you might be having trouble. Thankfully, for every one of your climaxing problems, Her Campus has a solution. So sit back, relax and… read our tips on how to reach the big O!

Why you’re not having orgasms

According to Cosmopolitan’s orgasm survey, only 57 percent of women climax almost every time with a partner—and that’s including women over 30, who probably have a way better idea of what they’re doing sexually. That being said, if you have yet to reach that big O, you are not alone.

Brittany*, a junior at Adelphi University, had this problem for a long time before she addressed it. “Oftentimes people are too embarrassed to bring it up. I know I was,” Brittany says. “I felt like something was wrong [with] me and my body and that I would never get the same amount of pleasure that my boyfriend does.”

There are some deep-seated explanations for why so many women find it difficult to orgasm. We discussed some of these issues with Celeste Hirschman, MA, and Danielle Harel, PhD, aka sex therapists Celeste & Danielle. “From a young age, girls are told that their sexuality is not for them,” Dr. Harel explains. “If they have not started masturbating before hearing those messages, they may not try masturbation at all. Even if they do try masturbating, they may be embarrassed and have gotten little information about their bodies and therefore don't know what will arouse them or give them orgasms.” And if you don’t know what gets you off alone, there’s a very slim chance you’ll figure it out with a partner.

“When [girls] try partner sex, they may not be able to give their partner information about what is pleasurable to them and may also feel inhibited due to shaming, negative messages,” Dr. Harel says. “Additionally, they may feel uncomfortable with the way their body looks or smells, may feel self-conscious being naked or may not let their partner give them oral sex.”

As if there weren’t enough things holding us collegiettes back from having fulfilling sex, “some women take much longer to orgasm than do others and may give up or feel like their partner is not willing to take the time,” Dr. Harel adds. However, before you get discouraged by all of these O-bstacles, check out our guide for how to finally reach that orgasm!

How to reach your orgasm (with a partner or not!)

Masturbate & get to know your body

If you don’t know what works for you, it will be next to impossible for your partner to know what works for you. Masturbating is the tried and true method for understanding your body AND feeling more comfortable sexually, so if you haven’t already, why not give it a try?

“Honestly, the first time I got off was from masturbating alone,” says Nicky*, a senior at Auburn University. “I had no idea what I was doing or what to touch, but I experimented.”

Nicky definitely had the right idea. “The first thing a woman should do to learn how to have orgasms is to masturbate,” Hirschman says. “Sometimes it can be helpful to watch videos of other women masturbating to get an idea of what to do. For example, many women need to squeeze the muscles in their legs or move their legs while touching their clitoris in order to have an orgasm.”

Need more stimulation? “It may also be helpful to read some erotica or watch porn while masturbating in order to bump up psychological arousal,” Hirschman says. “Psychological arousal can help a woman overcome embarrassment and increase sexual focus.”

If your goal is to get off alone, awesome! But how will masturbating help you come with a partner? “Once you have a better idea of how your body works, it will be much easier to tell your partner how they need to stimulate you in order for you to come,” Hirschman says. “It can be very helpful for you to masturbate in front of your partner so that they see what you like.” Sounds like everybody wins in this scenario!

Relax & be patient

When it comes to your orgasm, the more you think about it, the less likely you will be to reach it. The key is not to force it—it takes time! In order to finish, you need to move through the stages of sexual arousal, that is excitement, plateau and orgasm. The first two take a lot of stimulation to result in the third, which is all the more reason not to stress it.

“Relax!” says Samantha*, a sophomore at Drexel University. “If you're getting really anxious or stressed out about the fact that you're trying to have an orgasm, it's going to interfere with your ability to feel the pleasurable sensations that can lead up to the big moment.” This makes so much sense, if you think about it!

“Sex is a lot more than reaching a ‘big O!’” Brittany says. “If you think about it happening, it won’t. Either way, you're still sharing a strong bond with your partner. If you haven't had an orgasm with them, it doesn't mean you don’t love them. It doesn't mean there's something wrong with your relationship or your body. It will happen eventually.” So don’t stress it, collegiettes! In the meantime, try the following tips and tricks!

Find your turn-ons

Set the scene! If you’re not in a sexy mood, you probably won’t be able to climax. “Indulge in sensual things that make you feel sexy,” Samantha says. “Whether it's lighting a few candles, dressing up in lingerie you splurged on or receiving a massage from your partner, owning your turn-ons will help you get into a secure, confident place to try the new things that could get you to orgasm.” This is such amazing advice! Not sure where to start? We love this sexy slip from Victoria’s Secret ($49.50) and this amber-scented candle from Voluspa ($24) to complement your evening! Not only can these props arouse you, but they can also help you to relax—one of the most important elements in your climax.

Don’t underestimate your clitoris

Up to 75 percent of women have difficulty coming from vaginal intercourse, so you’ll need to count on clitoral stimulation to get the most out of both masturbation and sex with your SO or hookup. “With a partner or on your own: experiment with touches of different pressure on your clitoris,” Samantha says. “There's a reason it's one of the most talked-about pleasure spots for women! You can do this with the aid of a personal lubricant, which will reduce uncomfortable friction on that sensitive area. But don't focus exclusively there. The surrounding areas (like the labia and vulva) have tons of nerve endings and are also incredibly sensitive to touch.” It sounds like this collegiette has experienced some pretty great sex! Follow her example and try stimulating yourself on and around the clitoris, so you can finally reach that big O.

Experiment with positions

Now that you know your clitoris is your best chance to reach an orgasm, you can start playing around with positions that stimulate your clit and G-spot (a pleasure center on the front wall of your vagina).

“Try sex positions that maximize contact with the clitoris and the G-spot,” Samantha says. “For example, if you're doing girl on top, try grinding slightly forward and back, instead of focusing on up-and-down movement. Your G-spot will be stimulated by your guy, and you can control the pressure on your clitoris to what feels best, making this position one great option!”

Apparently, this strategy works for many collegiettes! “Girl on top can be a great way to reach an orgasm,” says Sophie*, a junior at James Madison University. “When you're in control, you can go at the pace you like to help you reach that O!” The combination of being in control and finding the right angle to maximize pleasure is a great way to get the most out of sex.

But girl on top isn’t the only position you can try! Experiment with your partner to see what works for you.

Try a sex toy

Hear us out, collegiettes! A vibrator or another sex toy might be the answer to all your sexual woes. “During penetration, the majority of women need to have some clitoral stimulation and will need to use their hands or a vibrator at the same time that they're having intercourse in order to come,” Hirschman says. “Sadly, many women are embarrassed or afraid to bring their vibrators into sex, but this can be one of the best ways for women to achieve consistent orgasms with a partner.”

Not down to mosey over to an actual sex shop? Amazon has a great selection for you to shop from the privacy of your own home.

Communicate

Last but not least, in order to have satisfying intercourse with your partner, the most important thing is to establish proper communication between the two of you. “Something that I've done is have a conversation about it with my partner,” Brittany says. “In the end I found out that he felt bad for me and thought I wasn't enjoying anything. All of this came after we spoke about it. It's important to always communicate, especially since we are young and figuring it all out.”

For Maggie*, a sophomore at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, “the trick is open communication and being comfortable trying everything. Figuring out what makes you tick comes down to experimenting with different areas, whether it be with oral sex, breast stimulation, penetration or a combination of all three. If you have not had an orgasm then you just haven't found the combination that will help.” Duly noted!

If you find it difficult to reach an orgasm, try one or more of our tips to finally climax—with a partner or not! If you’re in a relationship, don’t forget that communication is super crucial for both of you to enjoy sex as much as one another. Good luck, collegiettes!

Ryan Reynolds Gushes About New Baby Taking After Big Sister James

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds continue to prove that they have the cutest family ever! Since giving birth to their second child in September—a daughter whose name has yet to be revealed—the couple hasn't given us many details. In fact, we probably wouldn't even know the gender of their second child if Ryan hadn't accidentally let it slip during a late-night TV interview. Though Blake and Ryan are typically secretive about such information, Ryan recently shared more during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

During the interview, Ryan couldn't help but gush about his new daughter. Apparently, the infant and big sister James are quite similar.

"Well, they look alike," Ryan said. "You can see that she's sort of a little mini version of our older girl." How precious is that?

Ryan also seems to be loving the parenting life and the fact that everyone gets along quite well. "But, no, it’s great. It's like an actually cohesive, working, functioning family. It's amazing to see my older daughter taking care of my younger one. The Lion King was right! The circle of life exists," he said.

So there you have it. As predicted, Blake and Ryan's growing family is truly something to aspire to.

Bernie Sanders Called Donald Trump a 'Pathological Liar'

No shocker here, but Bernie Sanders is not Donald Trump’s biggest fan. Some politicians have been trying to balance voicing their disapproval of the new president-elect with respecting the office, but Bernie Sanders was a little less subtle.

We wonder if Donald Trump felt that Bern.

"What do you do when you have a president-elect, soon to be president, who—and I say this not happily but I think most people who observe him would agree—is a pathological liar, who changes his mind every single day," Sanders said in an interview with MSNBC. Many would not disagree. So far, Trump has seemingly changed or softened his positions on immigration, prosecuting Hillary Clinton, relations with South Korea and more.

Sanders also discussed his shifting perspective as he watches the country change with Donald Trump’s election. Even though he himself has been serving in congress for over a decade, he said “real change in this country, I am more and more convinced of it, is not going to come from Capitol Hill. It's got to come from grassroots America.”

This Monday, he will be on MSNBC again to host a town-hall where he wants to hear people’s rationale for voting for Donald Trump. “I want the truth,” he said. A lot of Americans probably do too. Apparently, Sanders doesn't have to remain a candidate for people to keep feelin' the Bern.

This Student Convinced His Professor to Give His Entire Class Extra Credit Just By Asking in a Hilarious Way

Anyone in college knows just how amazing it is to receive extra credit—it can make the difference between fininshing the semester strong or going down a grade after the final. While some professors have strict policies limiting students’ opportunities to receive extra credit, this awesome Missouri State University professor delivered in a big way by seeing the humor in things.

Student Deondre Wallace earned some major brownie points with his classmates after convincing his professor to award 20 points of extra credit to the entire class.

On Dec. 5, Wallace sent a Christmas-inspired email to his professor asking for extra credit and explaining his personal struggles, Cosmopolitan reports.

"Dr. Moore, It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and no I don’t mean Christmas," Wallace started off the email. "It’s extra credit season! I know in your syllabus it says in bold and all caps 'no extra credit, so don’t ask' yet here I am anyways."

He followed up with some lyrics from the classic Black Eyed Peas song "Where Is The Love," and something in there touched Dr. Moore's heart.

The professor replied promptly: “For making me laugh, I will just give you and the rest of the class 20 extra credit points. It’s been a pleasure having you in class this semester.”

This just proves there are some really understanding professors out there who are willing to help you out (and who like a good laugh!). This story is truly a Christmas miracle!

Louis Tomlinson’s mother Johannah Deakin has passed away only a week before her 43rd birthday after a fight with leukemia, E! News reports. One Direction fans will remember Louis’s mom as his go-to date for public events, as seen earlier this year when she was right by his side at the Brit Awards.

Johannah's family released a statement reading, "Earlier this year Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggresive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment. We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private."

Louis's stepdad Dan Deakin praised his wife in the statement, saying, "I thoroughly loved walking through life with her." Together, the couple had now two-year-old twins, and Johannah leaves behind five other children, including Louis.

Friends flooded to social media to share their sympathies, among them Simon Cowell, several of Louis's former One Direction bandmates and even Liam Payne's ex Danielle Peazer.

Our hearts are with Louis and his family during this difficult time.

Emmy Rossum is Asking for Equal Pay & She Might Lose Her Job Because of It

Plenty of our favorite actresses have recently stepped up to fight for their right to equal pay, including Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson. Now Emmy Rossum, star of Showtime’s longtime hit Shameless, is asking to be paid more for her starring role as Fiona Gallagher, reports Cosmpolitan.

You’d think that being one of the lead stars on a valuable show in the network’s lineup would be convincing enough for a pay raise, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Rossum asking for more money is delaying the renewal of the show for an eighth season.

Rossum is attempting to get both salary parity and a potential per-episode increase, which would make up for her being paid less than costar William H. Macy throughout Shameless’s run. Apparently, if she can’t finalize a deal with Showtime, Rossum could either be written out of the show or the network could cancel the series. Both she and Macy have earned several nominations for their work on the show, and Rossum also made her directorial debut on the show’s previous season.

By fighting for equal pay, Rossum is following in the footsteps of House of Cards’ Robin Wright. Wright claimed that her role and Kevin Spacey’s were equal on the show, a point that Rossum can definitely use to her advantage, too.

We’re hoping for the best in Rossum’s case and that the solution is one of equality!

Sorry, But Even One Cigarette a Day Will Destroy Your Health

A recent study confirmed that even low levels of exposure to tobacco smoke is bad for you. A person who smokes just one cigarette a day is nine times as likely to die from lung cancer as a nonsmoker, The New York Times reports.

Researchers published these findings in JAMA Internal Medicine. More than 500,000 men and woman were questioned about their smoking habits originally in 1995-1996, and then a little more than half were questioned again in 2004-2005.

This research is especially alarming given the increase in smoking and the use of e-cigarettes among teens and college students. CNN reports that the use of e-cigarettes among high school students increased by 900 percent from 2011 to 2015.

The new trend of e-cigarettes and vaping has risen with a belief that they are “safer” and less “unhealthy.” However, e-cigarettes still hold risks. As shown from research, smoking comes with serious health risks and the potential for addiction. For young adults, whose brains are still developing, this can be especially terrifying.

So before you use e-cigarettes or traditional cigarettes, consider the dangers attached to smokers and ask yourself – “Is it worth it?”

6 Smart Ways to Update Your Skin Care Routine

This post is sponsored by Clarisonic.

Your skin is one of your most important accessories—which is why taking care of it is so important. With this in mind, we armed some of your favorite beauty and fashion bloggers with a free Clarisonic Mia 2 cleansing device and daily cleanser. We already knew the Clarisonic cleanses skin six times better than hands alone, but we just had to know: How else can it help transform our skin? So we asked these influencers below to record their experiences and note any changes in skin appearance or routine. Let’s just say that they were impressed (and, ok, ecstatic) by the results.

Now, we’ve rounded up the six ways their skin care routine changed for the better—and how yours can, too. You can even get 20% off purchases from Clarisonic.com using code HERCAMPUS through December 31, 2016 (not combinable with other offers). Read on:

1. Aim to Reduce Breakouts

Your skin can be red for a number of reasons—whether it’s an irritation, dryness, the result of a rigorous workout, or acne. That’s why your routine should incorporate products and tools that work to eliminate redness and show off an even complexion. That’s what San Francisco-based Blogger Kelsey of Blondes and Bagels did after years of struggling with acne. “I had horrible skin while I was growing up,” she reveals. She recounts enduring laser treatments, rounds of Accutane, and years of insecurity and bullying until she realized she needed to do a full skincare routine overhaul.

“I needed to find a way to thoroughly cleanse my skin… so my moisturizes and various creams could actually start to work,” she says. After using the Clarisonic and its Deep Pore Daily Cleanser, Kelsey noticed a huge difference. “My face is totally digging it,” she says. “I don’t have as many of those pesky one-off zits hanging around, either.” See for yourself:

2. Make Makeup Removal a Breeze

You already know how important it is to remove your makeup at the end of the day. After all, it’s an essential task to complete if you crave clean, clear, and healthy-looking skin. But if you’re tired of investing in oils and wipes, the Clarisonic can streamline the process for you. Just take it from Lubbock, Texas-based Blogger Audrey Madison Stowe: "It’s one of the best ways I’ve found to remove all makeup and cleanse my skin while being gentle,” she says.

3. Form a Routine that Reduces Pore Size

Want more radiant-looking skin? The cleaner your pores are the smaller they appear, which is why sonic cleansing is so important. Clarisonic’s brush head moves back and forth over 300 times a second to gently flex the skin, which loosens the stuff in your pores. This brush head motion forces water off the bristles into your pores to flush them clean.

Boston-based Life & Style Blogger Mindy of A Mix of Min experienced this action first-hand. “The pores around my nose are dramatically reduced,” she says. “This was my number one hope from using the device and I'm super happy that this cleared up."

4. Clean and Replace Brush Heads for the Best Cleanse

For Coming Up Roses Blogger Erica, cleaning her devices and tools has become an essential part of her routine. “I typically go over my face multiple times just to ensure a good cleanse and because it feels so dang good on the skin,” she reveals. “While using, I pause to rinse the brush head about 2-3 times since a day’s worth of foundation and face makeup is always on it.” Clarisonic Co-Founder Dr. Robb suggests that you remove your brush head from the device, cleanse it with your face cleanser, shampoo or hand soap and let it air dry at least once a week. Run some water over the device, especially where the brush head attaches and let that air dry, too. Even if your brush head looks fine (it’s not going to degrade like your tooth brush), the bristles start clumping together over time, so you do need to change it every three months in order to have the most effective cleansing.

5. Ensure Your Routine is Seasonally Appropriate

Your skin changes with the weather, which is why your routine should be adjusted accordingly. When Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger Tomi of GoodTomiCha noticed dramatically drier skin in the fall and winter months, she took action. “[After using the Clarisonic Mia 2], I immediately saw the difference in my T-Zone, pore size, and congestion within the first week,” she says. She even packed the device with her to recent blogging events and trips to ensure her skin was camera-ready. Obama Has Ordered a Review of Russian Hacking During the Election

President Obama has ordered a full review of the Russian hacking that occurred during the 2016 presidential election.

In October, the intelligence community officially accused Russia of interfering with the election, including the hacks of Democratic groups such as the Democratic National Convention, CNN reports. In addition, there was concern about attempted attacks on voter registration systems—but the intelligence community never said there was strong evidence connecting the Russian government to such attacks.

“The President has directed the Intelligence Community to conduct a full review of what happened during the 2016 election process. It is to capture lessons learned from that and to report to a range of stakeholders,” White House Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Adviser Lisa Monaco said Friday.

“We may have crossed into a new threshold, and it is incumbent upon us to take stock of that, to review, to conduct some after-action, to understand what has happened and to impart some lessons learned,” Monaco continued.

Obama has requested that the review be completed before he leaves office on Jan. 20.

In response, the Russian government has called for evidence of its involvement, and has ultimately denied the United States’ claims.

“We are also very interested in understanding what they accused Russia of. Many times the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Minister Lavrov have asked Americans to provide full information. But never had any response.” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said.

According to The Washington Post, intelligence officials say that Russia has overtaken China as the country of primary concern in the cyberthreat space.

This review comes as President-Elect Donald Trump has continued to dismiss the intelligence community’s findings. Trump told TIME magazine that he doesn’t believe that Russia interfered. The hacking “could be Russia. It could be China. And it could be some guy in New Jersey,” Trump said.

California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, praised the administration for this review and has called on the White House to declassify as much of the information as possible.

“Given President-elect Trump's disturbing refusal to listen to our intelligence community and accept that the hacking was orchestrated by the Kremlin, there is an added urgency to the need for a thorough review before President Obama leaves office next month. More than that, the administration must begin to take steps to respond forcefully to this blatant cyber meddling, and work with our allies in Europe who have been targets of similar attacks to impose costs on the Kremlin; if we do not, we can expect to see a lot more of this in the near future,” Schiff said.

A Hofstra University Frat Is Under Investigation For Disturbing Hazing Rituals

Members of the Sigma Pi fraternity at Hofstra University have been accused of sickening hazing rituals, as photos have been released of members vomiting on each other, being covered in hot sauce from head to toe and being locked up in a cage, Fox News reports.

The photos were released on Tuesday byThe Hofstra Chronicle, which spent months investigating the fraternity.

More evidence has come from the woman who owns the home that the fraternity previously rented. The landlady told The New York Post that the fraternity caused $20,000 worth of damages to the house while they lived there.

According to Cosmopolitan, the photos that were released depicting the hazing rituals do show some damage to the home.

“Never mind what they did to each other, you should see what they did to my house. They totally destroyed the place. They set a fire in the back, they dumped garbage everywhere, they broke the sinks and destroyed the plumbing. They were animals,” the owner said.

The owner said she was unaware of the condition of the home until the fraternity’s charter was revoked in the spring and the members moved out.

The Hofstra Chronicle's investigation used photos, videos, group chat transcripts and information from a former Hofstra student, Syed Ali John Mehdi. Group chats showed older members seemingly forcing pledges to do things for them, such as fold their laundry, in order to earn merits. Videos sent by Medhi allegedly showed fraternity members chugging gallons of milk and vomiting on each other. Other former brothers have denied that these rituals took place.

At this point, the school and former Sigma Pi brothers are cooperating with police during an ongoing investigation.

I Hate Trump, But I Support the Decision to Name Him TIME Person of the Year

Donald Trump won TIME’s Person of the Year 2016. Notice that TIME’s annual award isn’t titled “Nicest Person of the Year,” “Most Compassionate Person of the Year,” or “Most Peaceful Person of the Year.” It’s simply “Person of the Year.” The award, given by a news magazine, recognizes the person who most influenced the news. As Nancy Gibbs, managing editor of TIME, explains, the person of the year “had the greatest influence, for better or worse, on the events of the year.” That is why even though I, like many young women, hate Donald Trump, I support TIME’s decision to name him Person of the Year.

From the time he descended the escalator of Trump Tower and made his candidacy official, Donald Trump dominated the news. The greatest complaint among Republicans throughout the primary election? That Trump received more media coverage than the other candidates.

In fact, Donald Trump received over $2 billion in “free media coverage” thanks to how often he appeared on television news. He spent way less on any of the other candidates on paid advertising, because why bother? He didn’t need to pay to get on TV; the media handled that for him. He received more media coverage than Hillary Clinton and Ted Cruz combined, both positive and negative.

My dad was working in Hong Kong the night of the election, and he said that even there, in a country with a completely different language, culture and political climate from the US, every TV was turned on to Donald Trump’s acceptance speech.

So, to say Trump influenced the news most this year would be an understatement. He didn’t just influence our news—he had a starring role in it.

Furthermore, this isn’t the first time a president-elect won the award. Obama won in 2012, and George W. Bush won in 2000 shortly after securing his first term as president, and same with Bill Clinton in 1992. The president-elect of the United States is about to become the world’s most powerful leader, controversial or not, and if that’s not Person of the Year-worthy, I don’t know what is.

Besides, Trump isn’t the first winner who isn’t all sunshine and rainbows and world peace. Hitler made the list in 1938. Stalin’s on there twice. Only a few years ago, Putin received the title. TIME looks at news coverage quantity, not quality.

Donald Trump isn’t exactly the world’s most-liked guy. I agree! He’s sexist, hateful, and way too eager to fire shots on Twitter. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t greatly influencing our media, culture, and world overall. Ignoring his influence won’t make it go away.

TIME Magazine editors put careful consideration into who they choose for this award every year. It’s an award we should all pay attention to, as the winner is the person most changing our culture and setting the tone for our world. Instead of getting angry about it, maybe we should ask ourselves, is this the tone we want set, and if not, what can we do to change it? Don’t ignore TIME’s decision. Instead, use it as fuel to change the world we live in.

8 Pictures of the Kylie Pop-Up Shop That Will Give You FOMO & Anxiety All at Once

I've been anticipating the grand opening of Kylie Cosmetics' pop-up shop for weeks now, but now that it's here (and not in my backyard), I'm not so sure how I feel anymore. On the one hand, it's everything I've ever wanted, like, ever. There is a wall of lip kits. AN ENTIRE WALL:

There are neon lights that are so Insta-worthy it's disgusting:

There are racks on racks of clothing:

There is a random-ass bed set up in the middle of the store, because apparently this is Kylie's version of IKEA:

And, perhaps most exciting of all, there are photo opps with the lip kit queen herself:

But despite all these beautiful (albeit eclectic) things, there are also lines that make Black Friday seem like child's play:

Not to mention the madness began at an ungodly hour:

Ugh, getting anxiety just looking at this. LA collegiettes, will you be checking out Kylie's store at the Westfield Topanga mall?

15 Signs You're the Gossip Girl of Your Friend Group

We can all agree that Dan Humphrey is the worst, but the mysterious Gossip Girl def isn't. She seems to know it all before it even happens, and she knows how to work things out to her advantage. She also knows how to play people for her enjoyment, and she acts as a puppet master of sorts. While her manipulation isn't the most admirable quality, her ability to get everyone to play into her hands is kind of interesting. You might be the GG of your friend group, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

1. You always have a plan

2. The plan has never involved Taylor Momsen in any way

Jenny Humphrey looks like when you were first allowed to wear eye makeup and you didn't know how to put it on so you just put on a ton every day.

3. You and your BFF are the stars of any spotlight

"Every brunette needs a blonde best friend!" Barf.

4. You know everyone

You can't go out and NOT see someone you know.

5. And you know all the drama in their lives

*Pretends not to know info that I found out by Facebook stalking*

6. You always have plans

Friday nights spent at home watching Netflix are so not a thing. Your presence is needed.

7. And the party doesn't really start until you walk in

"Thank god you're here. We were going to leave if you didn't get here soon!" Ur welcome.

8. You sign your texts with "xoxo, Gossip Girl"

(Also Dan's haircut here is the worst).

9. You've been told to mind your own business on more than one occassion

10. By the same people who love to give you the goss

You want me out of your business but knee deep in everyone else's? Not how it works, boo boo.

11. Your friend group has probably all dated each other

We hate Dan and Blair together. So much.

12. You always gossip with your parents

Their lives actually might be more interesting than yours.

13. You know what you want

14. And exactly how to get it

15. Let's be honest, you're always the cutest person at any party

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ah, college—the time when you’re in way over your head, and you’re constantly scrambling to just have a handle on everything. Some of us do this much better than others. And those “others” are categorized as a group of special people: hot messes. You can point out a hot mess from a mile away, and every single one of us has been this person at least once in our lives. But if you relate to these signs, you might be a professional hot mess—no doubt about it.

1. You’re at least ten minutes late to pretty much everything.

2. Your room is a disaster since you’re always rushing to get ready (being constantly late and all).

3. Picking clothes is so hard because you can’t remember the last time you even did laundry.

4. So you just wear some clothes multiple times in a row…no one will notice, right?

5. You live off of Starbucks and granola bars because making food is just too time consuming.

6. You’re always that person in class who says, “Wait, that was due today?”

7. Your planner looks like this:

8. You’re surprised when you actually know what day it is.

9. When you’re overwhelmed with all the work you have, you decide to nap instead.

10. You can’t remember the last time you washed your hair, but it’s fine because you’ll just keep it in its perpetual top knot.

11. You’re constantly apologizing to group/organization members for missing a meeting, simply because you just completely forgot.

12. Sleep has become a foreign concept.

13. Your phone screen is almost definitely cracked.

14. You’re a pro at submitting things literally ON the deadline, which is so nerve-wracking it makes you even MORE of a hot mess.

15. You’re almost always forgetting something.

16. You’re pretty sure that your bloodstream is 80 percent caffeine.

17. You can’t go a day without someone asking if you’re okay, when you’re really just living your normal, hectic life.

18. TBH, you self-identify as a hot mess and embrace the title for all it’s worth.
