7 Cute Ways to Wear Sneakers Outside the Gym

There have been a lot of shoe trends; it’s one of the many, many ways that we get to express ourselves. And then, depending on your individual style, there are so many possibilities to try! But sometimes we get into a rut and can’t think of spontaneous and creative ways to wear them. And you know what people often forget to add to their closets? Sneakers.

You heard that correctly; the sneaker can and should be used for more than just the gym. While your handy trainers will accompany you while you dash to work on time or kick your butt into shape on the elliptical, they can also be your biggest fashion asset. Here are just a few examples of how to strut with (comfy) style every day.

Cropped Jeans

Probably one of the easiest ways to style sneakers into your everyday life is to wear them with jeans. These high-topped sneakers look so good with shorter jeans. This light gray would look good with any dark wash, and the cropped style also gives levels to your look; jeans, leg, (optional crazy socks) then the shoes. Suede is definitely a texture that screams fall.

Sporty Minus the Sport

Do you ever want to dress like you just got out of bed or just in ultimate comfort, but still look good? Well you can. Athleisure clothing is currently rising to the top of fashion’s must-do outfits. Screw the people who tell you yoga pants aren’t acceptable and rock those patterned leggings (FYI, if you wear it as clothing, it’s acceptable; no one needs permission to wear something). With a cute bomber jacket and crop top, these sleek sneakers will have you looking your best without breaking a sweat.

That Sexy LBD

Yes, sneakers can also go with dresses. The typical Little Black Dress is paired with ankle-breaking heels that will give you blisters as soon as you hit the dance floor (or in my experience, as soon as you leave your front stoop). Again, when it comes to comfort, nothing beats sneaks. While these are dope and most definitely would go with any LBD, if full-on glitter isn’t your thing, remember that anything goes with black. So you can try a baby pink, a dark suede maroon or even bring a pop of color with a neon blue or bright yellow. This would also allow some major room for accessorizing with matching pieces.

Joggers

Want to know what’s better than rolling up to a party with sneakers on? Coming with joggers and sneakers on. Joggers are God’s gift to humans, allowing us to look good but be secretly wearing sweatpants. Whether you want fake denim, khaki, textured or actual cotton sweatpants, the cinched ankle on these unique pants automatically boosts your outfit. While flats or some kind of sneakers are typical to pair with joggers, these 1980s-styled high-top vans will add so much to your look. The color pops and the style is something Marty McFly would dig. And you know that’s a plus.

Holiday Dresses

Just like with the LBD, these particular trainers will be just as fancy as any high-heels. This holiday season, instead of stressing on wearing an outfit that allows for Thanksgiving food-baby growth AND on not getting blisters from your shoes, stick with comfort as much as you can. And if this ultra-shiny Velcro number isn’t your thing, you can still find the perfect pair to match your uber-cute holiday dress. Nowadays, stores like Topshop, Zara and H&M make sneakers that are worthy of showing off, even to the world’s snobbiest relatives.

Low-Key Dress

We can’t do a sneakers list without adding the hottest ones at the moment; the Adidas Superstar. These classic sneakers shot to the top of fashion trends recently, and for good reason. These aren’t too bulky or loud, but just enough to stand out and add ultimate style points to your ensemble. And some might not realize, but these look pretty trendy with a nice and casual flowy skirt or dress. Pair it with a choker and denim jacket and you’re ready to go.

Dress Pants – Ultimate Work Gear

Yes, sneakers are perfect for the workplace. They provide a great way to stay comfortable at work for those moments when you can’t seem to catch a break and rest your legs. There are some jobs that are super strict with either what type of shoes you wear or have strict conduct codes that forbid sneakers, but if your job doesn’t, we say go for it! With a texture like this shoe, it’ll really stand out when paired with black dress pants or virtually any solid color pant. These are classy, yet still have an edgy vibe to them that aren’t so much hipster as they are effortlessly cool.

So next time you’re reaching for those pumps for the office or the chunky heeled boots you recently acquired for date night, remember that the comfier alternative are sneakers! Super versatile and stylish? Yes, please!

17 College Situations That Always Require Coffee

$

Fine, coffee isn't actually necessary. You always tell yourself you'll drink less of it, but all of that "But first, coffee" merch is calling to you. Plus, how do you stay away from something that keeps you so focused and energetic?! Some situations are just begging for you to get in the Starbucks line.

1. Meetings that are too early…or too late

Obviously it's difficult to find meeting times that work for everyone, but do we *really* have to meet at nighttime?

2. Morning classes on Mondays or any day, really

What's the point of getting out of bed if there's no coffee involved?

3. Weekends when you have to get up early

This is just unnatural. Everyone knows weekends are for afternoon brunch.

4. Class presentations

Between giving your own speech and having to sit through everyone else's, why doesn't your professor just bring coffee for everyone on presentation days?

5. Tight deadlines

Deadlines are motivation enough, but coffee certainly helps.

6. Hanging out with friends

With your busy schedule and lack of energy, "Do you want to do something this weekend?" often becomes "Want to get coffee?" You're such an adult now, and it's freaking you out a little bit.

7. Networking or meeting someone for the first time

You can't be expected to socialize without the help of caffeine.

8. Before a date

Pre-date coffee is essential. Coffee boosts your confidence and makes you feel like this:

Even though you probably seem more like this:

9. Alone time

Your schedule is chaotic. Sometimes you just want to sit back, take a deep breath and reflect. While sipping some coffee, of course.

10. Group projects

Coffee makes you friendlier! These people don't have the same ~vision~ for the project as you do, and if you didn't have coffee when meeting with them, you'd definitely have a harder time stepping back and acting calm.

11. When that one guy casually makes sexist comments in class

You didn't bring a shot glass to class, so this coffee is the next best thing.

12. The days when you just don't really feel like doing anything

For whatever reason, you're just not feeling it today.

13. When you just need some comfort

You're stressed. You're overwhelmed. You just want coffee to comfort you.

14. Leading group meetings

As a student leader, you feel like you should be enthusiastic and cool. And unfortunately, you don't always wake up like that.

15. After a night out

What is brunch without coffee?

16. When you're feeling unreasonably snarky

You know you need to chill, but it's hard, okay?

17. On your daily grind

Yeah, that is a coffee pun. But who are you kidding?

CW Superhero Recap: James Suits Up & Team Arrow Has a Traitor

$

Supergirl

What you need to know about this episode:

The world was cheering when Alex came out as gay and proved herself as the true super girl of this episode. Meanwhile, James (aka The Guardian) teamed up with Supergirl and a newly heroic Mon-El to defeat a disgusting slug-looking parasite that strongly resembled The Thing.

What you need to know about The Guardian:

Different from the DC Comics version of Guardian, James Olsen will take on the role of a superpower-less but brave vigilante because photography just isn't doing it for him. This Guardian's biggest weakness? Not telling Kara that he is actually James. His greatest strength? Having Winn as his sidekick.

Best quote of the episode:

"I'm not flying, that's for sure."— Drunk Kara

What we can't wait to see next week:

Mon-El is captured by Cadmus—oh no!

The Flash

What you need to know about this episode:

Wally is having dreams about being Kid Flash, forcing Barry to reveal Flashpoint Wally's fate. Desperate to become a speedster, Wally falls victim to Dr. Alchemy's mind games and is possessed. Back at Star Labs, Cisco finds out about Caitlin's secret and vibes an intense fight between him and Caitlin's Killer Frost alter-ego in the future. He also blabs to the rest of the team that Caitlin is now a meta.

Best quote of the episode:

"You think everyone on Earth 19 is missing crayons in the box or just him?"— Cisco talking about H.R.

Our biggest questions about this episode:

The show is obviously not-so-subtly hinting that Julian is Dr. Alchemy, right? And what is the deal with Alchemy's rock, which had such a strong, almost crippling effect on Barry and encased Wally in some sort of cocoon?

What you need to know about Savitar:

Savitar is Dr. Alchemy's partner-in-crime and made an appearance in this episode to prevent his comrade from being apprehended by The Flash. As the self-proclaimed "god of speed," Savitar knows more about the speed force than any other speedster and can quicken or slow objects (or other speedsters) at will, which may prove to be a problem for Barry.

What we can't wait to see next week:

We're dying to know what is going to happen to Wally. Plus, Caitlin will unleash Killer Frost, making us wonder if Caitlin Snow will be lost to us forever.

Arrow

What you need to know about this episode:

There's a new Vigilante in town—who clearly didn't consult Cisco for a more original name—and he is a season one Green Arrow wannabe. Meanwhile, Lance tells Thea that he thinks Prometheus is trying to frame him, so Thea ships him off to rehab and warns Oliver that Prometheus may know he is the Green Arrow. And at the end of the episode, we find out Artemis is in cahoots with Prometheus.

Best quote of the episode:

"Well, if the obsessive and really intense face fits."— Rory, describing Oliver as Ahab from Moby Dick

What we can't wait to see next week:

There's no new episode of Arrow next week because of Thanksgiving, but after that, it's crossover time!

Legends of Tomorrow

What you need to know about this episode:

The Legends head back to the Old West to help our favorite outlaw from season one, Jonah Hex. Professor Stein gets a strange headache, leading him to believe that his relationship with his wife may be in danger, and Jax struggles with keeping future Barry's message from the team.

Best quote of the episode:

"I estimate the chances of survival at 51 percent."— Gideon

"Would it kill you to say above average, Gideon?"— Nate

What we can't wait to see next week:

Captian Sara told us at the end of this week's episode that the Legends' friends in 2016 need their help. A post-Thanksgiving crossover is just what we need right about now.

Kanye West Reveals He Would've Voted for Trump But Didn't

Kanye West is known for being outspoken on just about every topic, from his opinions on other artists to what he thinks of societal issues. Even in the political sphere, Kanye made headlines when he stated that he would be running for president in 2020. While that remains to be seen, Kanye is letting everyone know what he thinks about the country's most controversial election yet.

Even though Kanye admitted that he didn't vote in this year's election, he said that he would have voted for Donald Trump

"I told y'all I didn't vote right?…But if I were to have voted, I would have voted for Trump," Kanye said during a concert in San Jose, California last night. This led to "boos" from the audience, but Kanye continued with his show—until he couldn't take it anymore and decided to elaborate on his stance.

"I just said that I would have voted for Donald Trump and then I did a song and y’all sang it at the top of y’all lungs," Kanye said, cutting off "Heartless" mid-track. "That doesn’t mean that you're a Trump supporter. That just means you okay with a celebrity having their own opinion—or that someone else is okay to have their own opinion. That might not be your opinion and you can still like that person or still like that person’s music."

As for those who have issues with Trump's stance on African-Americans, Kanye wishes people would stop making race a focal point.

"Black people, stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, okay? Let's stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It’s just a fucking fact. We are in a racist country. Period."

Moreover, Kanye doesn't believe that voting for Trump means that a person is sexist, homophobic or against the Black Lives Matter movement.

"That don’t mean I don't believe in women's rights. That don't mean that I don't believe in gay marriage," Kanye said.

So, even though Kanye didn't vote, he would have voted for Trump—for reasons that are still unclear to us.

Luke's Character on 'Gilmore Girls' Was Originally A Woman

If you think Luke and Lorelai were destined from the start, you aren't exactly right. The Gilmore Girls creative team, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, told Entertainment Weekly that Luke was originally a female character named Daisy.

The network "came to me and said we need another guy, so I literally just took a character and changed the name, didn’t even change any of the dialogue because I’m that lazy," Sheman-Palladino said.

Lorelai and Luke weren't supposed to be together—they just had undeniable chemistry. “It was the episode where they were in the market and Lorelai’s spying on Dean," she said. "Luke was there and they had this scene that didn’t mean anything.”

With Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson ~feeling each other~, it's not surprising they ended up together. "It was just something about the two of those characters together that they kept going back to and then it kept growing," she said.

Patterson also knew the chemistry was there. “You just never know about that kind of thing," he said. "You can get the two most talented people in the world together on screen, and for some reason, it just doesn’t work. I knew it from the moment we met, and I knew it was going to work on screen. We just had a rhythm.”

We're happy it ended up the way it did.

Ben Higgins & Lauren Bushnell Are Going Strong After Calling Off Their Wedding

If you saw Tuesday's episode of Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?, you know the couple's happily ever after seemed a lot more questionable when they called off their wedding after a couple's therapy session.

With fans in turmoil, we weren't sure about the future of Ben and Lauren. But Ben quickly shut down our doubts by telling Entertainment Tonight the truth about their relationship.

“We’re in one of the best places we’ve ever been in our relationship—probably the best place,” the former Bachelor said. “We’re feeling less stressed. We’re feeling less pressured. We’re able to laugh and smile more…That decision at that point led us to every decision we’ve made to get to today.”

The couple recently took their first vacation together, which strengthened their bond.

"We both came back just clearly refreshed, at ease and we really needed it,” Lauren said. “Sometimes you have to listen to your relationship, listen to each other and yourself, and know—hey, we need some time here. Thankfully we’re blessed enough that we get to take a vacation…It was exactly what we needed. The adventure aspect of it all and doing things together, paddling, snorkeling—we kind of hit the reset button.”

With the pressure of marriage off their backs, we hope the couple will be able to focus on them and what really matters. Marriage can wait.

'This Is Us' Actress Says Losing Weight Is In Her Contract

$

NBC's This Is Us is probably one of the best new shows of 2016, and with good reason. The characters face similar struggles that we all do, and it's easy to relate to the show on some level. For Chrissy Metz, who plays Kate on the hit show, her real-life obstacles directly parallel those faced by her character.

On the show, Kate grapples with her weight, and in real life, Chrissy deals with the same challenge. In a recent interview with TVLine, Chrissy admitted that her This Is Us contract made it clear that she'd have to lose weight in order to accurately portray her character. Though losing or gaining weight might be a deal-breaker for some actors, Chrissy gladly agreed to the stipulation.

"In our contract, it did state that that would be a part of it, to lose the weight in the trajectory of the character as she comes to find herself," Chrissy said. In fact, Chrissy felt as though a contract-driven weight loss would be beneficial in helping her shed some pounds in her personal life. "That was a win-win for me. Because it’s one thing to try to do it on your own. But as human beings, it’s an ego thing: We’re more likely to do something for someone else."

Even though weight is a major part of Kate's storyline, Chrissy is satisfied with it. But she would also love to delve into other plots at a later time as Kate evolves.

"I'm just rolling with the punches…I, as Chrissy, want to do things that mentally, emotionally and physically make me the best that I can be. That's the intention for our writers and the development of the character."

Even though Chrissy is happy to lose weight for the benefit of herself and her character, she still believes that it's a personal choice that benefits her health. Just because she's making an effort to lose weight, it doesn't mean that she's changing herself simply for a role.

"I just have to be very clear," Chrissy said. "Whether or not I lose weight or stay the same, it’s purely a choice of mine for health. Not because I think that plus size, curvy, voluptuous, big bodies aren’t attractive—because I think they’re awesome and sexy."

Regardless of how she's handling her own weight, Chrissy also pointed out that she supports girls of all sizes.

"So I’ll just have to make sure that’s known, because I'm not selling out the big girls," she said. “I don’t do that. That's not me.”

11 'Gilmore Girls'-Inspired Drinks for Your Revival Watch Party

We're all so pumped for the Gilmore Girls revival on November 25, and we just can't hide it. While you're prepping these Gilmore Girls-inspired snacks, you might find yourself getting a little bit thirsty. A true Gilmore never drinks water (or eats anything even somewhat healthy), so we've compiled these Stars Hollow-friendly drinks. We all wish we had the metabolism of a Gilmore, but we don't—so drinking coffee through an IV is not recommended.

1. The Lorelai

This bev has coffee (obviously) and a little rum to keep you warm, and it's topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.

2. Miss Patty's Founders' Day Punch

Miss Patty's Founders' Day Punch is famous for getting Rory, Lane and Paris very intoxicated. So beware!

3. The Rory Gilmore

TBT to Rory's 21st birthday that she and Lorelai didn't spend in Atlantic City. :/

4. Doose's Float

Remember when Taylor made Rory the ice cream queen, and she didn't want to be the ice cream queen? We want to be the ice cream queen.

5. Gin Martini

That episode when they go to Richard and Emily's for Friday night dinner, and the Gilmores are catty and "forget" Lorelai's drink. Don't let that happen to you.

6. Fancy Tea

Emily and the DAR would be proud—but Lorelai would never.

7. French Press Coffee

French press coffee is so easy that even a Gilmore could (probably) make it.

8. Blueberry Muffin Smoothies

For when Luke's is out of muffins, obviously.

9. "I Smell Snow" Cocktail

Lorelai can always smell the first snow.

10. Candy Cane Hot Cocoa

It'll keep you warm, and the sugar content is just high enough for a Gilmore girl.

11. Nutella Donut Milkshake

Surely they have Nutella in the GG revivial—right? Regardless, this is better than Nutella and batteries.

3 Things That Guys Say Make You Girlfriend Material

$

0

Sometimes, this crazy thing called love can be a little confusing. It’s as if talking to a new love interest means not appearing to be too available, but still letting them know that we’re interested. When it comes to getting to know a new potential beau, we tend to jump through all kinds of hoops and hurdles just to figure out what would make them want to call back and, more importantly, what makes them actually want to commit. We asked a few real live college guys (and collegiettes) the million dollar question: What makes a girl girlfriend material? Here’s what they came up with:

1. Someone who's supportive

To some people, the key to a relationship is making sure that both partners are supportive of each other's needs and want to better each other. “I would commit to a girl who cares enough to not only want to better herself, but just as equally wants to better me and is vocal about it,” says Dre, a senior at New York University. “Like showing me things and pushing me to do things that are great for me.” What he’s getting at is that being a support system is crucial. According to Dre, knowing how to make your guy feel like a better person is the key to making your relationship successful. The idea is to push him and keep him motivated to be greater.

Related: 8 Things You Do That Make You Not Seem Like Girlfriend Material

2. Someone who doesn't play games

In other words, cut the mind games. Seeing a text and purposely waiting a certain amount of time to even think about responding is a little petty and has the potential to put your romance in danger. Playing games and not being clear about your feelings can put you in jeopardy of missing out on learning valuable information about your new crush, not to mention that it can confuse the both of you. Be honest about your intentions.

3. Someone who has confidence

The good news is that there's actually nothing wrong with being a little into yourself. “I’ve always noticed that the most attractive trait a person can have is confidence,” says Alexa Gould, a 2015 graduate of the University of Georgia. “Being attracted to a confident person means being attracted to someone who radiates a positive energy that demonstrates that they’re sure of who they are and what their goals are and that they have a can-do attitude.” As women, we sometimes have a tendency of being overly apologetic and humble in order to appease other peoples’ feelings. But that shouldn’t be the case. There’s a fine line between confidence and cockiness, so realize that it’s perfectly fine to show your new love interest that you’re sure of yourself. Don’t be afraid to hold anything back!

It’s difficult to get inside peoples’ brains, especially when it comes to trying to discover your new beau’s true feelings and ultimately what it is that will make him commit to you. Everyone is different so in the end, it’s hard to figure out what people want in a relationship. When it comes to being girlfriend material, always remember to be yourself and soon enough, the right person will come along to appreciate it.

Boston University Evacuated Buildings Because of a Hoax Emergency Call

Early Friday morning, Boston law enforcement responded to reports of an individual barricaded inside of a room with hostages in Boston University’s Mugar Library, The Boston Globe reports. The call came in around 8:30 that morning, claiming the incident was taking place in an office on the fourth floor, and Boston University issued a warning at 8:55 to urge people to steer clear.

Boston, Boston University, and state police arrived on scene, heavily armed and with the bomb squad in tow, and cleared the street in front of the student union while they searched the area. By 9:32, they came to the conclusion that the call was a hoax, Boston PD spokesman Lieutenant Detective Michael McCarthy said.

Shortly after, the area was reopened to street and pedestrian traffic, and around 10:30 a.m. the student union and library were reopened.

CBS Boston reports that the phone call to BU police lasted about ten minutes, and that the caller reported that they had guns and explosives. One clue that it might have been a hoax? According to CBS, the caller claimed "room 420" in the library was booby trapped—when no such numbered room exists. This may, obviously, have been a weed joke

Boston Police Commissioner William Evans apologized to anyone that was affected by the hoax. “We were on the line with the individual, so we treated it very much like it was the real deal,” he said.

A BU spokesman says that police are looking into the possibility of the call having come from overseas, CBS reports. Mayor Marty Walsh spoke to WBZ-TV in studio about the hoax. “I think even though this is a hoax, you have to take it seriously. You just never know,” he said. “If there’s one potential call that comes in that we don’t respond to, that could be the call where a problem could have happened.”

Trump Has Picked an Attorney General & National Security Adviser, & Their Views Are Worrisome

$

Donald Trump is in the process of picking key posts for his administration. Recently, he has chosen Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions for attorney general, and former military intelligence chief Michael Flynn as his national security adviser. The Associated Press reports that both individuals have been “fierce critics” of President Obama’s handling of terrorism and international relations. Both were also two of Trump’s biggest supporters during his campaign.

Because of Trump’s lack of experience in foreign policy, the U.S. and other nations are watching him closely where national security is concerned. Sessions will need senate approval to take the role of attorney general, but Flynn won’t need it for his role as national security advisor.

That’s unfortunate, considering Flynn once called Islam nothing more than a political ideology hiding behind the façade of a religion, while speaking at an event for an anti-Islam group. According to the Guardian, he has tweeted that the fear of Muslims is rational. He's been paid to attend a Russian event for a television station funded by the government with Vladimir Putin, worrying national security experts, and the Guardian reports that he frequently appears on the station, RT.

Sessions was the first senator to endorse Trump, but even with Republicans in control of the Senate he is expected to face difficulties in his confirmation hearing. While serving as a U.S. attorney in Alabama in 1986, he was withdrawn from consideration for a federal judgeship after accusations of making racist comments. According to the New York Times, he said the KKK was "fine" until he "found out they smoke pot," but later said this comment was a joke. This was one of several racist comments that precluded him from becoming a judge.

“Mr. Sessions is a throwback to a shameful era, which I know both black and white Americans thought was in our past,” the Boston Globe reports the late Massachusetts Democrat Senator Edward Kennedy saying at the time. “It is inconceivable to me that a person of this attitude is qualified to be a U.S. attorney, let alone a U.S. federal judge.” Kennedy would be in for quite the shock if he could see the attitude of the man who was just elected president.

Sessions doesn't think suspected terrorists should have constitutional rights in court, or that the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay should be closed—a break from the last two attorney generals. He also opposed the Voting Rights Act and the Violence Against Women Act, according to the Atlantic, and thought it would be a "stretch" to describe Trump's alleged grabbing of women "by the pussy" as sexual assault.

According to the Globe, it has not been announced if Sessions or Flynn had accepted their positions. Meanwhile, we’re sure Donald Trump will continue to select his administration just as though America were The Apprentice.

Did you know that you, too, can be a part of the Trump Administration? You can apply here.

Fake News Stories Were More Popular Than Real Journalism on Facebook Right Before the Election

A BuzzFeed News analysis has found that fake news stories were more popular than legitimate articles from major mainstream news outlets in the last few months of this election.

In the last three months of the American presidential campaign, the fake election news stories that generated the most web traffic on Facebook had higher levels of engagement than the top stories from news outlets like the New York TimesWashington Post, Huffington Post and NBC News, BuzzFeed reports.

Buzzfeed reports that from September to November 2016, the 20 most popular fake election stories from satirical sites, hoax news outlets and partisan blogs had 8,711,000 shares, reactions and comments on Facebook. During that time, the 20 most-clicked political articles from legitimate news websites had a combined total of 7,367,000 shares, reaction, and comments on Facebook.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently said that it is “a pretty crazy idea” to suggest that fake news on Facebook helped sway the election, but later posted, “We have already launched work enabling our community to flag hoaxes and fake news, and there is more we can do here.” There is allegedly a group of Facebook employees who have banded together behind the scenes to work on the fake news problem.

One creator of fake news, Paul Horner, told the Washington Post that he thinks he contributed to Trump's election.

"My sites were picked up by Trump supporters all the time. I think Trump is in the White House because of me," Horner said. "His followers don’t fact-check anything — they’ll post everything, believe anything. His campaign manager posted my story about a protester getting paid $3,500 as fact. Like, I made that up. I posted a fake ad on Craigslist."

Whenever you see an especially inflammatory story, make sure you check if it's for real before you share!

We are officially ONE WEEK away from the Gilmore Girlsrevival, A Year in the Life. The four-episode feature will be released on Netflix on Friday, November 25, at 12:01 a.m. PST (3:01 a.m. EST). For honorary Stars Hollow residents like us, this means that the mystery of creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s final four words will finally be revealed.

But before you head to Twitter to proclaim the good news to the world, Lorelai and Rory have a message for you! In a Stars Hollow PSA, the quick-talking duo pleads with serial binge-watchers not to spoil the ending for others who, unlike us, will not be done with the show before the sun rises. It’s been nine years in the making and the least we can do is wait a few more weeks before flooding social media with our emotional reactions. If you’re a diehard fan who promises to respect the girls’ wishes, take the pledge here.

Don’t spoil the last four words!

If your annual Thanksgiving plans include an uninterrupted marathon of every seasonal Friends episode, you’re going to want to watch this first. Andrew Rea, of the YouTube cooking series Binging With Babish, just taught us how to make Ross’s famously stolen Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich.

Rea’s step-by-step recipe leaves nothing out—not even Monica’s secret ingredient, a gravy-soaked slice of bread placed in the middle of the sandwich, which gives the Moist Maker its name. You’ll also need sliced turkey meat (white and dark), cranberry jelly and stuffing, and of course, each of these should be homemade. Monica says.

Rea’s sandwich looks amazing—almost good enough to steal. Where’s mental Geller when you need him?

1. Power Coat

The rest of this outfit isn't half as awesome as this red power coat, which matches Rory's upset expression in this photo. Switch up your groutfits this winter with your own crimson coat, like this one from ASOS ($196) or this one from London Fog ($69.99).

2. Professionally Cute

Update this look by tucking a dust pink t-shirt into a high-waisted tweed skirt ($46 at ASOS). A simple blazer will have you internship-ready in a flash!

3. Sweet & Romantic

This look was made for the die-hard Jane Austen fan. This pink cardigan from Hollister ($39.95) will go perfectly over this floral blouse from Lucky Brand ($25.99).

4. Bookworm & Proud

Of course some genius on Etsy is selling almost this exact badass shirt. Order it here for $20.

5. Comfy & Elegant

This is the epitome of understated winter elegance. Emulate Rory's style with this cashmere scarf from Target ($39.99) and this crewneck sweater from Banana Republic ($88).

Embrace that preppy life with a classic navy blazer and plaid skirt. Our (more wearable) picks? This jacket from Forever 21 ($16.99) and this skirt from L.L.Bean ($54).

7. Winter Is Coming

A sleeveless puffy vest is a must for the colder months, and we love the big red one Rory is wearing here. Get yours at GAP ($89.95) or Michael Kors ($125), and throw it on over a long-sleeved shirt. Add a light-colored scarf and be on your way to brave the Stars Hollow winters (or, you know, just the "Winter" episode on Netflix)!

Gigi Hadid Had A Secret Singing Career Before She Was A Supermodel

As if being one of the world’s biggest supermodels and a favorite of designers like Donatella Versace weren’t enough of a resume booster, Gigi Hadid also used to sing backup vocals for Josh Groban.

Hadid tweeted Groban about the collab back in 2014, and it was only a matter of time before some of Hadid’s more dedicated fans came across the TBT.

Not long after fans found the tweet, it was discovered that Hadid did in fact supply background vocals for Groban’s 2007 Christmas album.

You might have to strain your ears to hear most of Hadid’s vocal contributions, but Cosmopolitan notes that her voice can be heard clearly at the 1:13 mark on “Little Drummer Boy.”

While we weren’t sure what to expect when we first heard that Hadid had a songstress past, we were pleasantly surprised by her vocals. Keep on slaying, G!

What To Wear When Going Out If You’re A Conservative Dresser

Even if you consider yourself to be more lib than lit, at one point or another, during your college experience you will find yourself faced with the opportunity to go out to a party. For the girls whose closets consist of J.Crew chinos and gingham button-ups, deciding what to wear can present a real issue.

Party appropriate attire is often fairly revealing; a look that not everyone feels comfortable in. Sure, crop tops and low-cut rompers are cute, but if you can’t wear them and feel confident and at ease, what’s the point? These are some simple go-to outfits to consider when going out if you aren’t too comfortable baring it all.

Shift Dresses

Form-fitting clothes can be a real hassle when going out (especially when the alcohol-induced bloating kicks in). Shift dresses are flattering for nearly every body-type and typically allow you to be covered up. Paired with some cute statement jewelry and wedges, it can be perfect for a dressier outing. Alternatively, when paired with some converse, it can be an ideal outfit to wear for a more relaxed night out.

Rompers

Rompers are tricky because some can be pretty short or revealing. However, don’t let that scare you off — you can easily find a lot of rompers that are both stylish and conservative. Just like a shift dress, when paired with converse or keds, you can achieve a more relaxed look. Likewise, you can always dress-up a romper with some statement jewelry or cute wedges for a fancier evetn.

High-neck tanks

Luckily, high neck tanks are super trendy right now and can be paired with just about anything. You could wear these with a cute skirt, pair of shorts or jeans and you’ll achieve a look of class and trend.

Midi skirts

Midi skirts are another modest trend right now. You will be able to feel comfortable and covered, while still keeping up with the latest trends! Another great thing about midi skirts is that they work in almost every season; especially if you go to school somewhere warm. You can pair a midi skirt with a tank in the summer, a button down in the fall or a sweater in the spring.

Maxi Dresses

When it comes to looking cute and covered up, maxi dresses are the way to go. A cute maxi will look effortless and chic and keep you comfortable throughout the night. You will also be able to dress a maxi up or down very easily. When paired with cute sandals or converse, you can achieve a more relaxed look. Alternatively, wearing wedges or heels and adding some statement jewelry can create a much more put together look. An added bonus with maxi dresses is that pairing it with a cute jacket or sweater makes it work for every season of the year.

There are a lot of options for girls who want to look trendy and cute but aren’t as comfortable with clothes that reveal too much. Never let the idea of trendy clothes discourage you or let the idea of typically party clothes discourage you from going out and having a good time. All that matters is how you feel!
