The 'Gilmore Girls' Revival Has an Official Title & Poster

Believe it or not, it has actually been nine years since the last Gilmore Girls episode aired on TV (and we're still not over it). Let's face it: that show taught us so many life lessons. Needless to say, when it was announced in January that a reboot of the hit show would be coming to Netflix, diehard fans were overjoyed. Over the past few months, fans have also been treated to photos from the set, further adding to the anticipation. From cast selfies to episode stills, the anticipation is killing us!

Now, Gilmore Girls enthusiasts have another reason to get hyped up. While stopping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently, Lauren Graham revealed the official title for the Netflix reboot—Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Netflix hasn't set an official date for when the four-part revival will be available to stream, but they have released an official poster (in addition to the show title). Check it out below!

The poster says the reboot is coming soon, but we need an actual date to set in our phone calendars, TBH. And in case you happen to be one of those people who never got into the TV series, you might want to catch up before the new episodes hit Netflix. We can almost guarantee that everyone will be talking about it.

Sir Mix-a-Lot Has No Problem With Blake Lively's Oakland Booty Comment

Blake Lively has received quite a bit of backlash since posting a photo of herself on Instagram, captioned "L.A. face with an Oakland booty." Critics saw the actress's use of the lyric from Sir Mix-a-Lot's "Baby Got Back" as appropriation of a song intended to celebrate black women.

However, in a recent interview with Pret-a-Reporter, Sir Mix-a-Lot said that while he is "in no way trying to say that I speak for all black people," he was a "little surprised" by the criticism Lively received.

L.A. face with an Oakland booty

A photo posted by Blake Lively (@blakelively) on

The rapper began the interview by explaining the context in which he wrote the 1992 hit song, primarily the marginalization of African Americans and their idea of beauty in the media. "If you go back and look at 1990, 1991, you only saw African-American women and Hispanic women who were either a maid or a hooker." Most notably, these stereotypical black characters were almost always "overweight, and that's the way [directors and producers in Hollywood, magazine editors, etc.] wanted to see us."

The same media that was erasing the beauty of black women were at the same time promoting a standard of beauty akin to "waif-thin, borderline heroin addicts." What Sir Mix-A-Lot observed was "people of color either being ashamed of who they were or trying their best to assimilate" in order to be considered beautiful as well. And that was his inspiration behind his widely-quoted song: "I wrote the song because I wanted Cosmopolitan, I wanted all these big magazines to kind of open up a little bit and say, 'Wait a minute, this may not be the only beautiful.'"

Despite this context, Sir Mix-a-Lot insists the song is not about race. “That song was written with African-American women in mind, but trust me when I tell you that there are women out there with those curves everywhere, and they were once considered fat. And that's what the song was about. It wasn't about some race battle.”

Commenting on Lively's Instagram post, he says, “For her to look at her butt and that little waist and to say ‘L.A. face with an Oakland booty,’ doesn't that mean that the norm has changed, that the beautiful people have accepted our idea of beautiful?”

Furthermore, Sir Mix-a-Lot insists, “we have to be careful what we wish for as African-Americans because if you say she doesn't have the right to say that, then how do you expect her at the same time to embrace your beauty?” Rather than appropriation, he sees it as “almost a nod of approval, and that’s what I wanted.”

While the rapper may not have a problem with Lively's use of the lyrics, his last comments bring up an important question: Why does the beauty of women of color have to be approved, commodified and popularized by white women in order to be accepted?

Kim Kardashian Broadcasts Her Pregnancy Scare on Snapchat

The Kardashians basically grew up in the spotlight, with their every move being documented by the media. Considering how open the famous family is, we're not surprised that they'll talk candidly about the private things that most celebs aren't willing to share. Kim Kardashian especially has been known to be extremely open. Remember all those times she spoke about her pregnancies, without holding back any details? Well, speaking of pregnancies, Kim recently had a scare—so naturally she documented the entire incident on Snapchat.

Kim is a pro at using social media to interact with fans, so when she was recently on a plane and freaked out, she had to broadcast the whole experience for her followers. Taking to Snapchat last night, Kim began her nerve-wracking pregnancy scare with a snap showing several pregnancy tests.

In a very Kardashian-esque manner, Kim shared a few selfies, posing with the pregnancy tests. Totally normal. Then, she explained what was going on, for fans who might have been on the edge of their seats hoping for more details. "I'm legit in the airplane bathroom, going to take a pregnancy test, because I'm having a little bit of a scare," Kim said. "So, no big deal."

So Kim was sharing this entire scare from an airplane? Yikes! We honestly wouldn't want to be in her position at that moment. However, a few snaps later, Kim revealed that it was nothing more than a scare, and she is NOT pregnant.

Phew, that was a close one.

Ariana Grande Wants People to Stop Referring to Selena Gomez as Justin Bieber's Ex

Ariana Grande just dropped her highly-anticipated third album, Dangerous Woman—which is a reflection of her own feminist ideals. Inspired by an Egyptian feminist, the pop singer chose the title based on a quote she once read. As someone who has been in the entertainment industry since she was a child, Ariana has learned a thing or two about how female stars are treated, and she has quite a few comments on the topic. Ariana's recent interview with Billboard magazine proves that she is in fact a dangerous woman, who you really don't want to mess with—especially if you refer to her as some guy's ex.

During the interview, Ariana got fired up about the double standards in Hollywood, and the fact that people like her and Selena Gomez find themselves defined by their exes (or even current boyfriends).

"I'll never be able to swallow the fact that people feel the need to attach a successful woman to a man when they say her name," Ariana said. "I saw a headline—draw your own conclusions [on the subjects] because it'll be so much drama that I don't want—they called someone another someone's ex, and that pissed me off. This person has had so many great records in the last year, and she hasn't been dating him forever. Call her by her name!"

"I hate that. Like, I'm fuming. Sorry. You opened up…I need to take a sip of water and breathe. Don't get me started on this shit," Ariana added. Although Ariana didn't blatantly call out the overly-publicized Selena and Justin relationship, it is pretty clear that's the one she's referring to. Regardless, Ariana makes an excellent point here because singers like her and Selena are talented in their own right, yet more people seem to be talking about their relationship status than their music.

For people who might be skeptical and think that Ariana's self-proclaimed feminist attitude is just for show, she's here to prove that it's simply not the case. Pulling out her phone, she showed a bunch of tweets from a radio station that really bothered her—not because they were attacking her, but because they were being sexist. The tweets praised Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik for looking great in their shirtless photos, but when Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian stripped down, they were heavily criticized. "If you're going to rave about how sexy a male artist looks with his shirt off, and a woman decides to get in her panties or show her boobies for a photo shoot, she needs to be treated with the same awe and admiration."

So if we learned anything from Ariana's recent words, it's that the focus should remain on her career, not on her rumored or confirmed relationships. The singer is okay with comparisons to successful women like Selena, but if she's defined by her connection to any male star, you can expect her to speak out about it. "I've said this a million times: I hate drama. I love women in the industry. I'm a big fan of all my peers, and I try to keep it a hundred."

Lea Michele's 'Glee' TBT is So Heartfelt That We're Sobbing

A piece of our heart was ripped out when we found out Glee would be ending after its sixth season, which aired in March 2015. It is hard to believe it has been over a year since we last saw our favorite glee club together. And it is even harder to believe that it has been seven years since the show debuted on FOX.

To celebrate the momentous occasion, Lea Michele, who played iconic, type-A songstress Rachel Berry on the series, posted a #TBT of the cast, and it is probably the most heartfelt and touching photo we have ever seen.

Seven years ago, the original members of the show's McKinley High glee club posed for a group photo at FOX’s upfronts, mere days before the show premiered. “To think we aired 7 years ago today.. Found this photo from our Upfronts trip to NYC just days before the premiere,” Michele wrote. “No matter where we all are now.. I will always think back to this night. #glee” *Insert endless crying face emojis*

Although the beloved Glee cast will never all be together on our television screens again, we will always remember the joy and laughter the cast of characters brought us over the years.

21 Things You'll Only Understand If You're From D.C.

People from all over the world gather in Washington D.C. to work, live and play, everyday. A melting pot of people from all different backgrounds, D.C. is a fast-paced city unlike any-other -- and it takes some getting used to. Whether you're a tourist, or a fresh D.C transplant, there may be a bit of a culture shock adjusting to the city, but locals will tell you these 21 things you'll eventually learn before you can call yourself a D.C. native.

1.Asking people where they’re from based on their metro line

Instead of saying the actual name of the town you’re from you say “I’m third stop on the orange line.”

2. Referring to the collective area as the “DMV”

No, not the Department of Motor Vehicles.

3. What real traffic is

Los Angeles and New York have nothing on us during rushhour on I-495

4. The beauty of CAVA

CAVA > Chipotle, and we’re not sorry.

5. The beauty of Shake Shack

You can keep In N' Out and Five Guys if we can keep Shake Shack.

6. The importance of walk left, stand right

It’s a D.C. commandment

7. The importance of owning a SmartTrip Card

Because paper Metro passes are for tourists who have ample time and money, unlike locals who are always in a rush and looking to go as far as possible for as little metro fare.

8. The beauty of a rent-controlled apartment near a metro line

A reasonably priced apartment in Northwest on the red line is a DC native’s idea of real estate porn.

9. Georgetown Cupcake is overrated

Baked and Wired for life.

10. How “Scandal” is not an accurate representation of Washington.

Someone tell me why Olivia Pope and Associates don’t have a SmartTrip.

11. Laughing at tourists who lay on the ground to get a National Monument picture.

You do realize how dumb you all look, right?

12. DC “slang” like “blown” or “faking”

Out-of-towners wonder if we’re actually speaking the same English.

13. Not truly believing someone’s occupation

Oh you’re a real estate agent in DuPont? Are you sure you don’t work for the CIA?

14. Protesters. So. many. Protesters.

Another day, another thousand people screaming outside of the White House.

15. All four seasons… in one day

Sweaters, rainboots, shorts, and a parka all in one day is the norm... it doesn't even phase us anymore.

16. Avoiding South-East DC

Don’t go to Anacostia. Don’t. Do. it.

17. People blaming DC natives for the actions of Congress

Not everyone within a spitting distance of DC can control the actions of congress... we're just as confused and angry as you are.

18. How “what do you do” is asked right after “what’s your name?”

Because networking is always the underlying motive to make friends in this city.

19. Going to the monuments at night

Because when the sun sets is when all of the tourists leave the city and the locals come out to play and enjoy the beauty of Washington at night.

20. The ups and downs of gentrification

The revitalization of neighborhoods like Chinatown and Shaw seem like a great idea, but when the rent prices are astronomical and local shops get turned into Starbucks…

21. Knowing DC is the best East Coast city

Sorry New York and Boston, but living in the most powerful city in the free world is pretty great.

11 Things Every Bi Girl is Sick of Hearing

$

We know that when it comes to talking about sexual identity, our friends mean well. And as open to discussion as we are, there are those little comments we hear all too often that can get pretty annoying. Here’s what you should never say to a bi girl—because trust us, she’s sick of hearing these things!

1. “Which do you like better?”

Because comparing apples and oranges totally makes sense, right?

2. “You’re so lucky you have double the options!”

*Insert eye roll here*

3. “Do you have a lot of threesomes?”

I mean, really?

4. “Are you sure you aren’t just a lesbian?”

Why do we need a preference?

5. “I don’t believe in people being bisexual.”

If only we had a dollar for every time we’ve heard that one!

6. “Do you just want to sleep with everyone?”

Yes, and you must want to sleep with exactly half of the population.

7. “You’ll grow out of this.”

This isn’t the same as being a Jonas Brothers fan!

8. “Guys are so annoying; I wish I could date girls too!”

Right, because we DECIDED to date girls for that reason. Okay.

9. “I bet I can change your mind.”

*Amanda Bynes voice*

10. “But when it comes down to it, who would you marry?”

…Harry Styles…or Emma Stone…

11. “Can I watch?”

Some people just never grow up.

Just remember, the next time you’re around your bi friends, be respectful! Sure, they don’t mind people asking the average question, but if you ask them one more time who they would marry, they might just explode.

The 8 Things Kanye Said in His Rant on Ellen That Actually Made Sense

$

In a recent appearance on The Ellen Show, Twitter legend Kanye West gave the beloved comedian and host an eight-minute monologue of everything that was on his mind—you know, like he usually does but without the 140-character limit.

It was especially important that he get this stuff off his chest since Kanye’s reality TV star wife Kim Kardashian is looking into the possibility of appointing an executive board to approve all of his tweets before he posts them.

As members of the media (who are always down for a good Kanye-ism), we strongly advise against this, Kim. Who, if not Kanye, would we turn to for life lessons like these? Here’s what we learned from what was quite possibly Kanye’s last interview on daytime television.

1. Practice makes perfect

The more you do something, the better you become at it—makes perfect sense. So when asked about the possibility of having more children with wife Kim K., Kanye said that he’s happy to keep practicing for now.

2. Live life with no regrets

Ellen, laughing charmingly: “Have you regretted anything that you’ve tweeted?”

Kanye, shaking his head assertively: “Nope!”

And isn’t that a lesson for us all in self-confidence?

3. Giving back is important

Regardless of who are or where you are in life, you can help someone less fortunate than yourself—even if you’re $53 million in debt. Kanye says, “If I had more resources, I could help more people.” The star claims that he has ideas that “could make the human race existence within our 100 years better—period.”

4.  It’s ok to ask for help

And not just not from Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO… on Twitter.

5.  Put some dope shit in it

No one knows what it means but it’s provocative. It gets the people going.

6. Diversify your talents and step out of your comfort zone

Kanye explains that we’re in a renaissance period, which for him means that we’re living in a time when people are encouraged to have more than one profession. Put the same amount of energy and passion into everything that you do and you could do great things, like he did when he transitioned from music to fashion.

7. Being popular isn’t all there is to it

Kanye says that he doesn’t care if he’s likable or not. He cares that he’s connecting to his audience, that he’s making valuable contributions to society. Like Picasso or Steve Jobs.

8. Build each other up instead of putting each other down

Or as Ellen would say, be kind to one another. In case you've forgotten, Kanye says, “we’re a blip in the existence of the universe!” We have to work together to eliminate inequalities and injustices like racism and classism.

Being a self-proclaimed philosopher—and, unrelated, "the Michael Jackson of apparel," Kanye declares, “I see the importance and the value of everyone being able to experience a more beautiful life.” And that, he says, is all he’s really fighting for.

“Sorry for the realness.” Kanye out.

Nashville's Aubrey Peeples is Going to Do Big Things

You might recognize Aubrey Peeples for her role as Jem in Jem and the Holograms, or Layla Grant in Nashville—but the actress and singer has been showcasing her talents for years. In honor of Nashville's upcoming season finale, we caught up with Aubrey to get all the scoop on her TV show role, her singing career, touring and everything else she hopes to accomplish in the future!

We chatted with Aubrey before news broke that ABC wouldn't be renewing Nashville—but her statements on social media make it clear she's not ready for that part of her life to end. She's been actively tweeting with the hashtag #BringBackNashville (we hope you're listening, ABC!) and an earlier message made it sound like she wasn't entirely thrilled about the sudden cancellation of the show.

Though we're heartbroken that this season's finale might be the series' last, it's clear that Aubrey isn't going anywhere. Before landing the role of Layla Grant, the talented actress and singer had already had plenty of experience with performing—probably why she was such a natural in the role of Layla. "I grew up doing musical theater for twelve years straight, so I got very used to live performances as well as some very big theaters and arenas from singing the national anthem around the country as a kid," she explained to us.

This isn't to say there's nothing nerve-racking about getting up on stage, though. Performing at the legendary Opry is one example. "I get nervous every single damn time I perform at the Opry. I've done it eleven or twelve times now and the extreme paralyzing fear has worn off, but still," she said. "And I tend to get nervous when I play guitar live because I'm very self-conscious about it. That's something I want to work on." Don't worry, Aubrey, there is no need for that.

Missing this. #NashvilleinConcert

A photo posted by Aubrey Peeples (@heypeeplesitsaubrey) on

Since becoming a series regular, Aubrey's experiences have helped to refine her performance abilities. She recently wrapped up a Nashville Tour, and had a blast, to say the least. "It was incredible. Going on tour this year was particularly special for me because last year was my first time and I had a tonsil infection and was extremely nervous. So this year, I came back feeling much stronger and with way more experience. I think that really affected my performance in a positive way, especially for me mentally," Aubrey said. "The venues we've played were certainly one of my favorite aspects. We played the Fox Theater in Atlanta, the last place Prince played."

Name on the drum so #LaylaGrant must be legit. #Nashville

A photo posted by Aubrey Peeples (@heypeeplesitsaubrey) on

Perhaps one of her favorite aspects about touring—besides the awesome venues—is the fact that she can go on new adventures in places that she's never visited. "Exploring cities with my dear friend Christopher Carmack is always my favorite," she said. "Last year we biked the Golden Gate Bridge and this year we freaked out at a Stevie Ray Vaughan exhibit at the Woodie Guthrie Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma."

If you happen to be a fan of Aubrey, then you know that she has major singing (and guitar playing) abilities—but did you realize that she's also quite passionate about writing? From original songs to screenplays, Aubrey has experimented with writing in her spare time, and she hopes that she can pursue that aspect of the entertainment industry in the future. "I have dabbled privately at writing a screenplay as well as a pilot, and I'd love to see these or future writing projects turn into a reality," Aubrey shared with us. "And of course I'm hoping to release an album in the next year or two." Umm, we'd LOVE for Aubrey to release an album.

Speaking of an album, Aubrey definitely has a few ideas up her sleeve about what kind of sound she'd like to incorporate. She's a self-proclaimed jazz enthusiast, but is completely open to branching off into other genres. "I've been writing for a long time now and I am itching to get the ball rolling. I write mostly blues-based music, and I would be looking to release an album very much in the vein of blues/rock/soul," Aubrey said. "I'm hoping to experiment with different instrumentation that I haven't gotten much chance to before; I'm thinking I'll definitely want to work with a horn section. I've got lots of ideas if someone will listen." *raises hand*

Aubrey's musical inspirations include everyone from Aretha Franklin to Amy Winehouse, but there are a few artists in particular that the 22-year-old actress and singer would love to work with some day. "I would really die and go straight to heaven if I could collaborate with Bonnie Raitt. I'd also love to do something with Chris Stapleton," she admitted.

Aside from musical ventures, Aubrey also hopes that she can continue to play new and exciting roles on TV shows. "I'm dying to be on Girls and become best friends with Lena Dunham. And Shameless, I'd love to do something completely outrageous on Shameless,"Aubrey shared. "Also, it would be great if I could be the next musical artist on Vinyl, please and thank you." We're definitely with Aubrey on that last one. Can someone please make that happen?

While nothing is set in stone, Aubrey is optimistic about the future, and hopes that she can continue pursuing projects that she feels passionately about. "I would really just love to keep on this journey. I of course hope Nashville continues for a long time, but I really want to shoot lots of films and hopefully release a few albums in this lifetime. Maybe release some poetry I've written, or maybe one day, a book. I'd love to win an Oscar, but hey, I'm happy taking things one step at a time."

This Feminist Actress Wants to Make Porn Better For Women

Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, said in a recent interview with The UK Times that she would like to direct porn because she believes that she, and other female directors, could make the genre more appealing (and empowering) to a female audience.

Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, Sarandon says, “Most pornography is brutal and doesn’t look pleasurable from a female point of view. So I’ve been saying that when I no longer want to act, I want to do that… A lot of people know what’s in the middle. But what makes a sex act really interesting is how that first touch happens, how that first kiss comes.”

Sarandon isn’t the only one who thinks mainstream porn could use some revamping. Erika Lust, renowned erotic film director and feminist author, recently told Her Campus that there is greater demand for both ethical and feminist porn, which aim to eliminate common power imbalances that exist behind the scenes and on screen.

Both Sarandon and Lust raise an important point: diversity in the media extends way beyond who’s on screen. It’s also about showcasing under-represented values—especially feminist ones!

Christina Aguilera Will Never Forget the Moment Hillary Clinton Stared at Her Boobs

Just four years ago, the world was blessed with a now-famous photo of Hillary Clinton getting a good look at Christina Aguilera's chest.

The picture was taken at the 2012 McGovern Awards at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., during which Aguilera was recognized for her effort to fight global hunger.

During her recent appearance on the Ellen show, Aguilera was reminded of the incident and laughed it off.

"She was staring at my bosoms. It’s amazing. It’s awesome," the singer said. "She supports the girls... They need support."

This isn't the first time Aguilera expressed her adoration for the Democratic presidential candidate. The Grammy winner was apparently starstruck after meeting Clinton in 2012.

“She’s such a force in a room,” the Voice coach said. “She’s got that star charisma and everything about her. I couldn’t take my eyes off her, either, so it was mutual. Is that bad? I don’t know. Maybe I shouldn’t say that! I’m so inappropriate."

Aguilera will continue to support her favorite candidate alongside John Legend and Stevie Wonder at next month's “She’s With Us” concert in Los Angeles.

We can't help but hope for a reenactment of that hilarious pic!

13 Things That Happen On Your First Night Out After Finals

School is out for summer, and you've taken your very last final exam! For once, the only thing on your schedule for the rest of the day is to catch up on sleep. When your friends convince you to go out to celebrate the end of the semester, you're pretty sure your eyes will close before you can take a single sip of a drink, but for some reason, you say yes anyway. Here's what happens when you try to go out after doing nothing but studying for days.

1. Finals are over, and you've never been happier to have a break from school.

Seriously, summer couldn't come fast enough.

2. You haven't slept in four days, but you're pretty sure you got an A on your Chemistry final.

Yay?

3. All you can think about is when you can finally get a good night's sleep.

It's literally 96 hours overdue.

4. Much to your dismay, your friends have other plans: going out.

*Starts brainstorming hundreds of different ways to say no*

5. You try to decline, but then they get all sentimental about how you won't see each other all summer.

Puppy eyes, really? In college?

6. You decide that maybe, despite the fact that your eyelids are already feeling heavy, you could rally.

Just for a little bit. Two hours, tops.

7. One margarita later, you're feeling much better about your decision to go out.

"Sleep is for the weak," you remind yourself as you force your eyes open to order another drink.

8. Two margaritas later, you feel like you've had five.

Apparently lack of sleep is the key to getting drunker faster. Whoops.

9. Your friends start dragging you from bar to bar, determined that you properly celebrate the end of school.

You'll either kill them or thank them tomorrow.

10. Every conversation you have with every person you talk to revolves around the test or paper you just finished earlier that day.

"I worked so hard," you explain to the bartender. "I think I deserve an A."

11. Your friends want to take cute pictures, but your eyes are basically closed in every single one.

SORRY THAT MY EXHAUSTION IS RUINING YOUR POTENTIAL INSTAGRAM.

12. At this point, you hardly know what's going on anymore because you're so tired.

You may look like you're making eyes at a guy across the bar, but really you're fantasizing about your bed.

13. By the time you get home, you've never been happier to go to sleep.

Cue a Sleeping Beauty-esque three-day dead spell. But, hey, at least you made it out!

We have waited 13 long years for the Finding Nemo sequel to arrive, and it is finally upon us. In less than a month, Finding Dory will premiere, and we know it is going to be simply unforgettable—just like Sia’s theme song for the movie.

Sia debuted “Unforgettable”—yes, the same tune made famous by Nat King Cole in the '50s—on Ellen this week, and the songstress delivered a whimsical, soulful performance that gave us chills and all the feels. The song is set to play during the end credits of the movie.

Sia admitted that “Dory’s story makes me teary,” and when Ellen asked her to do the song, she couldn’t turn down the offer. We have to say we are so glad she didn't.

This 'Bachelorette' Contestant Spent an Outrageous Amount of Money on Clothes for the Show

The new season of The Bachelorette is nearly upon us, and we've already got some juicy details on the men who will be vying for JoJo Fletcher's affection. In past seasons, we've seen the guys go to some pretty extreme lengths to impress the Bachelorette, but did you know that they're also willing to break the bank to do so? One of this season's contestants has revealed that he spent not hundreds but thousands of dollars in the hopes of wowing JoJo. So, can you guess which of these 26 men spent that much money?

While filming a video for Glamour magazine, the guys gave viewers an inside look into their suitcase essentials—and Chad Johnson revealed he didn't hesitate to spend thousands of dollars. The 28-year-old luxury real estate agent admitted that he had an entire suitcase filled to capacity with protein, hoping that his toned physique would grab JoJo's attention.

"I figured, I worked really hard to get in shape for the show, I might as while try to keep it while I'm here." Just look at the size of those biceps; it would be a shame if he couldn't maintain that body because he was lacking sufficient protein. Sounds like a reasonable explanation, right? Yeah, we thought that, too—until he mentioned how much he splurged on brand new attire.

"I probably overdid things a little bit," Chad admitted. "I mean, I've spent like seven grand on clothes just for this." Wait, what?!? Chad spent $7,000 on new clothes JUST for The Bachelorette? We think that's a bit excessive, but who knows, maybe there's a method to Chad's madness. Here's hoping he sticks around long enough to wear all those fancy new duds.

Cara Delevingne isn’t your average actress. So it’s no wonder that her first memory is nowhere close to average.

In her cover story for W Magazine, the Suicide Squad star revealed her earliest childhood memory, and it it absolutely terrifying.

Because she was obsessed with “blood and death” as a child, the first thing that Delevingne remembers is cutting herself while pretending to shave like her dad. “One time, I covered my face in shaving foam, and I got his razor and ran it along the bottom of my finger and nearly cut it off,” she says.

According to Delevingne, the scar is still there. “It’s barely visible now,” she adds. “But I like knowing that it’s there.”

Just mark this down as another uniquely Cara moment.

To get in shape for her role as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse, actress Olivia Munn did something a little bit psycho—she put herself on the 20-80 regimen.

Munn told Women’s Healththat on top of working out every day, she followed an extreme diet plan, eating 80 percent fruit and vegetables and 20 percent “whatever.”

“My intention was to just get as fit and as healthy as I could be, for myself,” Munn says. The combination of this diet and her workouts helped Munn lose 12 pounds, which led to rapid fire rumors that she’d taken drastic, unhealthy measures to lose weight so quickly.

Munn isn’t taken aback by the rumors, though. She’s just happy to feel physically fit and healthy. She pointed out that her weight loss method wasn’t a special Hollywood secret.

“A lot of times, people want to hoard their secrets to themselves,” she says. “But whenever I learn things now…I want to tell anyone who wants to listen about them.”

However, Women’s Health also pointed out the dangers of Munn’s diet. If the math alone isn’t enough to drain your brain, then the lack of protein will surely do the trick. Also, because the extreme amounts of fruit cause your blood sugar to rise and fall super quickly, you’ll always feel hungry.

While the 20-80 diet may have worked for Olivia Munn, balancing your diet to include enough protein and healthy fats is a much better idea. And, as always, be sure to talk with your doctor before jumping aboard any dieting bandwagons. Remember: a magazine cover doesn’t make someone into an automatic health expert.

8 Ways You Embody Luke Danes By The End Of The Semester

Oh Luke. Sarcastic, grumpy, yet oh-so-loveable Luke. Gilmore Girls just wouldn't be the same without him. No matter how peppy, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed you start off the semester, you turn into a different person when you have a bunch of club meetings, and school work  It's understandable that you're a bit more cranky amidst all the chaos and cramming. By the end of the year, you basically become Luke Danes in all his pessimistic glory.

1. The pure frustration you feel when you find out you have three exams, four papers and two projects all on the same day

The struggle is indeed real. Deep breaths, in and out.

2. When people ask how you are

Oh I'm just peachy, thanks for asking. Life is all sunshine and roses currently. Am I being sarcastic? Why, I wouldn't dream of it!

3. When you get together and have a complain-fest with your friends

It's no secret Luke can find plenty to complain about. After all, misery loves company. And by the end of the semester, when the work is piled so high and you're convinced your professors are out to get you, you can't deny that it feels good to know you're all in the same, sinking boat.

4. Even the little things start to drive you crazy

Your friend hasn't texted you back in awhile? How rude! Your roommate didn't make their bed? How dare they allow you to look at that eyesore!

5. Any and all expectations go out the window

Pass my exams with flying colors? Very funny. At this point, you're not expecting any miracles.

6. You become stubborn to a fault

Even when you reach your breaking point, you're pretty reluctant to admit you need help even when it's beyond clear you do.

7. You have no problem telling someone else when they look like they're about to snap

I don't have a problem, but you clearly do.

8. You eventually realize that the semester won't last forever

The year must come to an end. Summer will be waiting for you, so you might as well power through the pain and try to make the best of your time left at school.

Despite the daily hardships Luke faces and his overall grumpy demeanor, even Mr. Danes recognizes that life is all about improvement. Every collegiate deals with end of the semester struggles, but like Luke, you you will not give up until you've made some sort of progress, while simultaneously handling your business with grace, a glass half-empty view, and a whole lot of sarcasm.

11 Reasons Why High School Graduation is the Best Thing to Happen to You

For those of us who revel in the Friday night football games, homecoming dances and special bonds that high school gives us, we can all agree that leaving behind our hometown turf and moving to college is a scary thought. But we can also likely agree that it is going to be the best thing to ever happen to us.

Check out these 11 reasons why college is totally, undeniably and absolutely awesome.

1. You can schedule classes so that sleeping in every day is totally doable

A huge plus of college is the fact that you get to choose to take classes you’re actually interested in – and at times convenient to you.

Rachel Petty, a sophomore at James Madison University, prefers college to high school because you can decide when you have to attend class. “Being able to choose classes whenever you want is awesome because you have more time to sleep in, go to the gym or participate in clubs and activities,” she says.

Don’t want to drag yourself to class until noon? Want to be done by 2 p.m.? No problem.

2. Everything food-related is significantly better in college

Better food selection. Multiple food halls and meal plans to choose from. The fact that your parents aren’t there to tell you what you should and shouldn’t eat. Ice cream for breakfast. Cereal for dinner. Okay, you get it.

Rachel Spenik, a sophomore at John Carroll University, says, “There are so many healthy alternatives available to you at college. And they can be just as delicious, especially if you know how to create great dishes from fresh, natural ingredients.”

While most colleges are either made up of a student body that loves to complain about its university’s food or that simply can’t get enough of it (hello, freshman 15), it’s safe to say that you are definitely going to love what seems like free food at almost any hour of the day.

3. Popularity is a thing of the past

In high school, it’s no secret that the popular girls ruled the school. But in college, you’re cool if you’re just... you.

“[In college] there is no ‘popular group’ or ‘theater people’ or any other high school stereotypes,” says Anjelique Kyriakos, a senior at Elon University. “I think that has been my favorite part of going from high school to college.”

Come college, you can finally say goodbye to the stereotypes that have been following you like a shadow since those awkward days of middle school (it was a tough time, we know).

4. You’re constantly surrounded by your besties

In high school, you see your friends in the halls, at lunch and maybe after school. In college, your friends are available to you 24/7 and are at most just a couple minutes away (the perks of dorm life!).

“It's awesome to live so close to all your friends because if you're in a bad mood, people are right there to cheer you up!” says Rachel P. “It's easy to communicate and meet up with friends to make plans.”

Plus, this means there’s always someone to watch your favorite TV shows with at night (and someone to talk you into ordering Chinese food for the third time in a week).

5. You can say goodbye to being “that freshman”

It’s the first day of high school. You ask scary-looking upperclassmen for directions to your biology class, and they point you in the direction of the English wing. You naively start walking, only to hear the snickers behind you.

“Ha. Stupid freshman.”

If this has never happened to you, count yourself lucky. If this did happen to you (multiple times? Don’t worry, we’ve been there, too), look forward to a much more mature, helpful and kind student body in college.

“The boundaries that typically confine you to one group or age in high school no longer exist,” says Anjelique. “I couldn't imagine going from the top of the school all the way back to the bottom of the totem pole... but that is the great thing about college. There is no top or bottom; it is just a matter of finding a place where you fit in. [Labels like] ‘freshman,’ ‘sophomore,’ ‘junior,’ ‘senior’ become nearly irrelevant.”

Counting down the days until high school graduation? We don’t blame you.

6. You’ll make friends that will last a lifetime -- and it’s easier than you would think

College is a time when you meet some extraordinary people you’ll want to keep in your life forever. After all, everyone says college is where you meet your future bridesmaids (but don’t panic if you don’t!).

“College is the best thing to have ever happened to me because you're constantly meeting and bonding with people you wouldn't necessarily have interacted with in any other setting,” says Iris Goldsztajn, a junior at UCLA. “I have really close friends from all parts of campus and still make new ones as a junior.”

Making such close friends is actually pretty easy. Kasia Jaworski, a senior at Villanova University, suggests getting involved on campus. “I know when I was graduating [high school], I was so fearful that I wouldn't find a good group of girl friends in college. But once I got to college and started getting involved with activities, I found it was really easy to make friends!” she says.

“I think it's important to get involved in different clubs and activities early freshman year because that's how you get to know people. And who knows? You might become lifelong friends with them!” she adds.

Some of the best ways to make a solid group of friends include joining clubs and groups (think spirit and activity-planning groups that can really get you involved on campus), joining a sorority or simply getting to know the people who live on your floor.

7. There are so many free things, it’s ridiculous

One of the best things about college is the amount of free stuff you get. Whether it’s a free shirt for an organization’s awareness campaign or free food meant to entice you to go to (and actually stay at) a campus event, the amount of university Frisbees, water bottles, bumper stickers and T-shirts you will compile by the end of your four years is slightly concerning. But totally awesome.

“My school used food trucks at campus events and during finals week this year,” says Rachel S. “It was great because everything was free and it was a nice alternative to getting free stuff that ends up just being clutter in your dorm.”

While the number of freebies doesn’t exactly make up for the thousands and thousands of dollars you’re paying for tuition, it’s a step. Be sure to keep up with the plethora of Facebook invites you’ll be getting for on campus activities, and keep an eye out for the word “free!”

8. Campus life is basically a constant party

If you’ve seen Pitch Perfect, House Bunny or Greek (admit it: you loved it), you know that there’s never a dull moment in campus life.

Okay, college might not be exactly how it’s portrayed in the but that doesn’t mean you don’t have the ability to make it almost as exciting. “College life is awesome because there's always an event, party or something going on to keep you entertained,” says Rachel P.

Whether it’s an activity fair on the quad for you to peruse or a big sporting event, there’s almost always something for you to do on campus. Campus fliers, Facebook invites, announcements on your university’s social media pages or radio/TV show and word of mouth among students are great ways to keep up with the fun events happening on campus.

9. Questionable things happen that you will just learn to accept (and totally take part in)

College is all about being spontaneous.

“I love that you can do stupid things like go out on a Tuesday night or go on a spontaneous hike and still make school and whatever you're involved in a priority,” says Iris.

So if you see someone hauling hundreds of water balloons up to her dorm room, just smile and remember—it’s college.

10. You can finally put to use those random outfit pieces you thought you’d never wear again

Yes, you will use your bright neon spandex, your nerd glasses and that one cheetah-print crop top you’ve been hiding from your mother’s sight for the past three years.

Two words: Themed parties. College is full of them, and they are the only times of the year you can justifydressing like it’s Halloween when it’s not.

11. You can do (almost) anything on the quad

Tanning in a bikini. Slack lining. Taking way too many selfies. Pulling out the Slip ‘n’ Slide. Streaking (not suggested).  The quad is the college go-to for everything from your casual hangout to your most ridiculous collegiate stunts.

“I literally saw two students out on our school quad running around with nets trying to catch a squirrel,” says Rachel S. “It was the weirdest thing ever.”

It’s where you make college memories worthy of scrapbooking (so be sure to take lots of pictures!) and it’s where you get to meet the eccentric, unique individuals that make your campus so fun.

Sure, high school gives you four years of fond memories, but college will give you so much more. Once you experience the craziness that college has to offer, you’ll realize that these four years are going to be the best of your life.
